Around the world governments reach out to their emigrant population, embracingthem as part of the nation, expecting their economic contribution. The aim of thisthesis is to examine the political strategy and governmental activities of ElSalvador with the purpose to include emigrants in the nation building project. Themain question is what consequences this has for the significance of citizenship.This case study is based on the theoretical framework of external citizenshipwhich is a new fenomena emanating from states growing interest of theirexpanding diaspora. It divides external citizenship in two parts; a legal dimensionand a practiced identity.I find that as the economic potential of salvadoreans abroad increase, theSalvadorean government makes institutional changes to tie emigrants to thenationstate. This results in the possibility for salvadoreans to remain citizens intheir country of origin, practicing their salvadorean identity at the same time asthey naturalize abroad.

AbstractTransitionell rättvisa behandlar frågan om hur man har ställt sig till förbrytare i en tidigare ordning. Här jämförs fyra länders lösningar till denna problematik, Kambodja, Rwanda, Guatemala och Sierra Leone. Ambitionen är att förklara varför dessa olika val har gjorts.Artikelns teoretiska utgångspunkt är kopplad till Huntingtons transitions-former. I artikelns centrum står dock en maktbalanshypotes, som hämtar inspiration från snarlika studier av bland andra Sriram och Lanegran. Dessa bygger på antaganden om att det är maktförhållanden mellan parterna i konflikten som avgör vilka lösningar som överhuvudtaget är genomförbara.

This degree project has been performed with Mega Teknik AB in Landskrona. The project has resulted in a workplace for the cable installers of Mega Teknik. The workplace contains a workbench and a cart.The first stage in this project was to make an analysis of the current workplace to identify the needs the installers had.The different principle construction proposals of how the workbench would look like and which functions it would have was made during brainstorming, in groups and alone. These proposals were compared against each other using a functional analysis that has been put up to get the principle construction that fulfilled most points in this analysis.The proposal chose for further work was a cart and a bench with a module intends, the table got a formulation that creates a better reach for the installers.This proposal was generated in Catia V5 to get a better overview of the suggested proposal.During the primary structure phase drawings over all the products were made and the components were chosen. Calculations were made and the product got the dimension required.

Historiskt sett har lövsågverk i Sverige haft dålig lönsamhet och få studier över konstadsfördelningen har gjorts. Syftet med detta arbete är därför att kartlägga ett lövsågsverks kostnader och intäkter för att kunna göra beräkningar på vilken produktion som krävs för att sågverket ska bli lönsamt.Två provsågningar genomfördes för att få svar på utbytet i sågverkets klingsåg respektive bandsåg. Uppgifter om sågverkets kostnader och intäkter togs fram med hjälp av personal på sågverket. Provsågningarna visade att sågutbytet i klingsågen var 24,3 % och 62 % i bandsågen. Några av anledningarna till det låga utbytet i klingsågen var att endast en dimension tillverkades, brädor som inte höll kvalitetskraven flisades upp och att marginalerna för virkets krympning i torkprocessen var onödigt tilltagna.

Autonomi är ett etiskt begrepp och etiken återfinns alltid som en dimension i omvårdnaden. En specifik del av omvårdnaden är vårdrelationen där fenomenet autonomi synliggörs. För att som sjuksköterska kunna ge omvårdnad på ett underbyggt och reflekterat sätt anser vi att innebörder i begreppet autonomi bör belysas. Syftet med denna uppsats är att belysa innebörder i begreppet autonomi för att därmed få en fördjupad förståelse av och kunskap av autonomi som fenomen i en vårdrelation. Begreppets innebörder belystes genom att identifiera dess karaktäristika, antecendenter och konsekvenser.

The purpose of this study is to make a close and critical scrutiny of the EU Lisbon Strategy and the assumption of `sustainable growth´. A basic question is to clarify what is meant by `sustainability´ in the economic and the environmental dimension respectively, and also, to analyse the meaning of `sustainable growth´. Secondly, I try to investigate the relationship between the economical and environmental dimensions of the strategy. Are the goals of the dimensions compatible and mutually supporting or are they conflicting? By illuminating these issues the study moves towards a final set of questions: What are the arguments that encourage or counteract the Lisbon assumption of `sustainable growth´? Is the European Union approaching `sustainable growth´ looking at different economical and ecological indicators? What are the prospects for the Lisbon Strategy as a way towards global `sustainable development´?.

Bakgrund: Var femte kvinna kommer någon gång under sitt liv bli utsatt för våldtäkt eller våldtäktsförsök. Utvecklandet av psykisk ohälsa är vanligt förekommande samband med sexuella övergrepp och kan yttra sig på många olika sätt. Hur dessa kvinnor blir bemötta i sjukvården kan få avgörande betydelse för hur de kan bearbeta och hantera sina upplevelser efter det sexuella övergreppet. Syfte: Att belysa kvinnors psykiska ohälsa efter att ha blivit utsatta för sexuella övergrepp. Metod: Systematisk litteraturstudie med fem inkluderade vetenskapliga studier.

This discursive policy study has its starting point in the criticism of the Swedish gender-equality policy is depoliticised. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the Swedish gender-equality policy was problematised and designed during the 2000s. The purpose of this paper is also to investigate whether the Swedish gender-equality policy can be defined as a depoliticised policy or not. The research questions of this study are: What´s the problem of gender-equality represented to be in the specifics policies and what effects are produced of this representation? Can gender policy, as it is designed in the various policy documents, be understood as a depoliticised policy, in the sense that sex is not articulated on the basis of a conflict dimension?To find the answer of theese questions I use the method ?Whats´s the problem represented to be", which is an inductive approach where the researcher sets selected questions to its material.

BAKGRUND OCH SYFTE:Under våra år som musikstudenter på lärarutbildningen, så märkte vi bland våra klasskamrater såväl som våra kurslärare och lärare ute på praktikperioder, att kvinnorna ofta visade ett större intresse för områden som rytmik och kör ? medan männen var mer engagerade inomensemblespel och instrumentundervisning. Även tidigare forskning pekade på samma sak. Detta låg till grund för vår studie, där vi ville ta reda på hur musiklärare i området utformar sin undervisning. Vidare ville vi då undersöka om det var någon skillnad mellan de kvinnliga och manliga lärarna ? och i så fall vad detta berodde på.METOD:Metoden vi använde oss av var en kvalitativ undersökning i form av utskickade frågor via epost till tre kvinnliga respektive tre manliga musiklärare.

Sara Lidman?s second novel Hjortronlandet (1955) unfolds in the north of Sweden in the early 20th century. It describes the progress of modernity and the conflicting interests of an old local culture and a new more ?civilised? one. The two cultures are constituted by different value systems and in the novel they are represented by two neighbour communities.

The Court of Justice of the European Union has progressively revised the rule of purely internal situations to ensure a wider scope of application of the economic freedoms as well as the EU citizenship right to move and reside freely within the Union. This development, combined with the increasing importance of fundamental rights, has strengthened the family life protection of those EU citizens who come within the scope of EU law. The limit between the individuals who may benefit from a EU right to family reunification and fundamental rights protection and those who find themselves in purely internal situations has, however, become more legally uncertain. The disadvantage suffered by those who fall outside the scope of EU law is known as reverse discrimination.The 2011 case Zambrano confirmed the trend towards an increasingly generous EU law protection of family life in cases where the exercise of freedom of movement and enjoyment of EU citizenship rights is potentially restricted by a Member State measure. By contrast, in the subsequent McCarthy- case, it became clear that families in purely internal situations may only rely on national immigration and procedural law to obtain family reunification and protection of their fundamental rights.

This essay follows a Media Teacher in her work as a coordinator and an artistic leader for a European project called Legalopoli concerning laws and ethics in a senior level school for 13-16 year-olds in Mora, Sweden. The students write film stories about how their characters have to make choices in ethical dilemma situations. Then the learners create interactive computer games together through practical film work. At the same time we can see how the educator also gets into difficult ethical situations, when she is working with the students. This forces her to self-reflection.

Dagens datorspel innehåller en mängd effekter som försöker ge spelaren en känsla av en interaktiv värld. Många av dessa effekter simuleras med hjälp av partikelsystem. Exempel på sådana effekter är explosioner, rök och blodfontäner.Tyvärr är de flesta partikelsystem byggda så att de existerar i en egen ?dimension? med varken uppfattning av dess omgivning eller omgivningens beskaffenhet. Detta resulterar i att partikelsystemen ibland kan verka, i vissa situationer, orealistiska och opassande.Detta arbete presenterar därför en metod att tillfoga realism genom att ge ett partikelsystem och dess partiklar möjligheten att interagera dynamisk med sin omvärld.

Smärta är en av de vanligaste anledningarna till sjukvårdskontakt. Inom akutsjukvården förekommer brister i omhändertagandet av barns smärta. Upplevelsen av smärta är subjektiv och komplex samt påverkas av flera faktorer. Det är en komplex uppgift för sjuksköterskan att bedöma samt behandla smärta hos barn och en ofullständig smärtbedömning kan leda till inadekvat smärtbehandling. Studiens syfte var att beskriva och jämföra instrument som bedömer smärta hos barn inom akutsjukvården.  En litteraturstudie genomfördes, där resultatet baserades på 15 vetenskapliga artiklar.
