A QUALITATIVE STUDY ON THE EXPERIENCE OF ESCORT SERVICE UNDER THE ACT (SFS 1993:387) SUPPORT AND SERVICE FOR THE DISABLED
The purpose of this study was to examine the experiences of escort service under the Act (SFS 1993:387) concerning Support and Service for the disabled (LSS) for self-determination, participation and equality of living conditions. In the results of this study appears that the escort service fulfills its role in breaking the isolation of persons with disabilities. It gives a picture of the escort service is much more than to break the isolation of people with disabilities. The aspects that emerges is that escort service gives persons with disabilities the opportunity to develop their independence, increase their self-esteem and broaden their frames of reference through increased participation in community life. All users report that they experience autonomy in the choice and order of activities within their grant initiatives.

This study investigated how banner ads, depending on its quality and placement,can capture a user's attention while searching for editorial content in an online newspaper. Furthermore, the user's search strategy was also studied to see whether it varied depending on the placement of an ad. An experiment was conducted where 20 subjects searched for articles in a Swedish online newspaper while their eye ovement was recorded with a headmounted eye?tracker. In each search task the online newspaper contained either a low quality ad or a high quality ad.

SyfteSyftet med studien var att ta reda på hur lärarna förhåller sig till genus och bedömning i ämnet idrott och hälsa i årskurs 7-9.Våra frågeställningar var:Bedöms pojkar och flickor på olika sätt?Vilka faktorer tar läraren hänsyn till i sin bedömning?Hur arbetar läraren med feedback?MetodStudien har en kvalitativ ansats där tre idrottslärare har intervjuats. Lärarna valdes ut genom ett bekvämlighetsurval.Intervjuerna var semistrukturerade och vi använde en intervjuguide för att säkerställa likvärdig information från våra respondenter. Intervjuerna transkriberades och analyserades med hjälp av genusteori relaterat till bedömning av pojkar och flickor.Resultat Resultaten visade att bedömning är något som lärarna anser är viktigt. Ibland bedöms eleverna under lektionstid och ibland efteråt.

The main purpose with this MA thesis is to examine how visually impaired, disabled and people with dyslexia define service quality at the public library of Linköping. The method that has been used is focus group interviews. A focus group consists of four to eight people who are joined together, without knowing each other before, to discuss a certain subject. The aim is to get a wide spread of answers. A secondary purpose is to examine how this method works.
Fruktkvalitet inom äppelodlingen : en studie av och för Äppelriket Österlen
The main purpose of this Master Thesis has been to investigate issues concerning apple fruit quality in orchards of Äppelriket Österlen. The goal has been to develop a document, for future benefit towards growers and company management in the production of high quality apples.In order to investigate main issues of fruit quality, focus has been on statistics concerning apple varieties, age of the apple trees, new planting, orchard size and growers opinions. Nine growers have been interviewed to investigate opinions and contribution of different growing techniques to increased fruit quality.
The investigation showed high age of the trees in production and low rate of planting of new trees. Differences in fruit quality were highest between small orchards. Most growers were satisfied with their fruit quality and with their own measures made to improve it.

The main question this bachelor thesis aims to answer is how the public service program Tg1?s news broadcasts may look. The following questions were used to discuss thetendencies of the result: How can the distribution of the news categories appear in Tg1?sbroadcasts? Can the main news be considered as impartial and objective in its linguisticand pictorial representation?To answer the aforementioned question I chose to do a combined study, using aquantitative content analysis and a qualitative content analysis.To lead my research, I focused on two requirements underlined by public servicebroadcasters, namely, objectivity and impartiality, and diversity. The outcome shows thatthe diversity in Tg1?s broadcast is disproportionate and that the pictorial representation isnot impartial and objective without the linguistic part.

Background: Earlier studies show that nurses work environment is a factor that may affect the quality in nursing care negatively. Other factors are: number of employees, working hours, work structure and planning and working relationships between colleagues. Work relationships are particularly important for nurses as they can affect patient safety. Nurses are prone to stressrelated illnesses and high stress levels prove to have a negative affect on the quality of nursing care. To develop and assure the quality demands effort from every employee.
Obtaining high quality textile fibre from industrial hemp through organic cultivation
AbstractThe urgency to find alternative fabrics to conventionally produced cotton is increasing as vast amounts of agrochemicals are used and a lot of irrigation is required. In this literature survey the potential of organic cultivation practices to produce highly qualitative hemp fibre, suitable for the textile industry, was investigated. The definition of a fibre in the textile context as well as of the qualities that are essential for a textile fibre was necessary as a base for the discussion in this thesis. The quality parameters looked at were fineness, strength, length, friction, and colour. The impact of external growth factors and plant development on these quality properties are discussed.

Som ett kommunikationsverktyg och en ledarskapsaspekt tjänar feedback många syften i enorganisation, och är därför ett ständigt aktuellt och relevant ämne. Somliga ledarstilar passarbättre än andra i olika organisationer, då organisationskulturen har en stor påverkan på hurledarskapet mottages. På grund av detta påverkas även relationen mellan ledare och medarbetareoch hur tvåvägskommunikationen, feedbacken, sker mellan parterna. I denna uppsats undersökssamspelet mellan feedback och organisationskultur & ledarskap i syfte att utveckla feedbackeninom organisationer. Hur feedback sker, problem i samband med feedback och förutsättningarnaför feedback har varit viktiga aspekter som har undersökts i denna studie.

During the last decade, the construction industry has focused on improving and optimising its production process. The construction industry is now facing larger changes regarding efficiency in their supply chain for the next decade. Many companies are now trying to optimise its supply chain together with its supplier. JM AB, which is one of the biggest construction companies in Sweden, is looking at different options to improve its own logistics together with their suppliers. One option is to use a terminal between JM and the suppliers to solve problems such as quality, custom service and inventory for the in production.
Feedbackens diskurser i matematikundervisningen
Enligt våra erfarenheter från vår verksamhetsförlagda tid påverkas elevers inställning till matematik av den feedback läraren ger dem. Syftet med denna rapport är därför att undersöka och analysera diskurser innehållande feedback från lektioner i gymnasieskolans matematikkurs A. Detta görs genom att observera fyra lektioner utifrån en ljudinspelning och därefter kategorisera 54 utvalda sekvenser. Kategoriseringen görs utifrån fyra olika feedbackdiskurser där den kvalitativa analysen av dem görs utifrån både ett ålders- och ett pojk-/flickperspektiv. Resultatet pekar inte på några tydliga skillnader mellan pojkar och flickor och vi kan inte dra några generella slutsatser om ålderns betydelse i de olika feedbackdiskurserna i vår undersökning.
Urvalsproblematiken på folkbibliotek; en studie av etik och estetik kring urval av populärlitteratur och erotisk litteratur på sex svenska folkbibliotek
The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to investigate issues concerning librarians? view on three genres, (a) popular literature for women, (b) popular literature for men and (c) erotic literature, when choosing what to buy for their libraries. A qualitative method has been used and the empery consists of seven qualitative interviews with altogether eight librarians involved in choosing and buying literature. The theoretical framework is built on theories regarding concepts of hegemony and cultural hegemony; the male sex as norm; taste culture and quality. The results show that three of the libraries in the study have a written purchase policy and that the policies that exist are very general.

On a highly competitive market, quality is an important aspect to take into account, both in terms of goods and services. The Swedish timber market is very competitive and to achieve long-term success focus on the customer, in this case private forest owners, is a prerequisite.
SCA Skog AB Jämtlands forest management administration is dependent on the acquisition of timber from private forest owners to fulfil their mission to the supply of SCA's paper and sawmills in Sweden with raw material. To be able to develop the cooperation with private forest owners, the administration investigates their quality management by measuring the customer satisfaction index (CSI). The purpose of the study was to identify a practical and systematic method to handle deviations and suggestions for improvements to achieve a higher customer satisfaction.
Evaluating a corporate strategy : a case study of Länsförsäkringar
The Swedish agricultural sector is currently undergoing a substantial structural change. The number of farm enterprises is continuously decreasing and the average farm size is increasing. In combination with increasing number of competitors in the insurance market, the competitive rivalry within this market has increased significantly. With this knowledge in mind, Länsförsäkringar Uppsala initiated this study, which aims to provide an understanding of customer?s view on customer value, related to agricultural insurance and financing.
