The purpose of this degree-project was to investigate the possibilities for primary air preheating into the two smallest waste incineration boilers of Halmstad Energy and Environment. The investigation is a pre-study which has the primary goal to evaluate technical and financial offers from companies that manufacture primary air preheater, and investigate if it is technically and financially profitable to do a purchase on primary air preheaters in the future.In the pre-study it is proposed that it is most efficient to have individual primary air preheater, one for each incineration boiler and the primary air are also proposed to be preheated by hot water in the pre-study. Further in the pre-study it is proposed that the heat-exchanger should have plain tubes instead of finned tubes, to avoid getting dirty fast. The space in the boiler-room is limited, and therefore the major problem was to fit in the primary air preheaters into the boiler-room. By comparing the different offers from the companies, the result in the pre-study shows that the offer from the company C.A.

In today?s society computers are getting a much more important role. To get a computer to work as intended it has to be programmed. A computer program is written with programming languages. There is an abundance of programming languages available today and there are many differences and similarities between them. The different languages have their advantages and their disadvantages where some of them are intended for fast performance, some to be cheap on memory usage, and some are developed to be easy to program on. In our thesis we have chosen to compare four of todays most common languages, C, C++, Java and Python.

Att kunna motivera sina arbetare för att dem ska kunna prestera bättre på arbetsplatsen har varit grogrunden till utvecklandet av belöningssystem. Dessa system är ofta prestationsgrundande och ger en extra inkomst till de högpresterande. Denna studie har som syfte att undersöka hur arbetare uppfattar dessa belöningssystem och vad som motiverar dem i deras arbete. Djupintervjuer har gjorts med 9 arbetare och en teamleader på avdelningen Gods Ut på Ellos AB.I studien ligger motivationsteorier och belöningsteorier som grund. Utifrån respondenternas svar kan man sedan dela in dessa i olika kategorier som speglar de olika teorierna, behov, motivation samt belöningssystem.

The goal is to develop a number of products and build prototypes to be shown during the Carl Malmsten Furniture Studies spring exhibition 2012. I?m also writing a report describing my work.To reach my goal I have each day during the first phase conducted a short research and found a concept based on that days name day. Then I have continued in the workshop and worked with three-dimensional models.

Vårt syfte med studien är att studera hur begreppet och fenomenet pedofili konstrueras och reproduceras i media- och forskningsartiklar. Genom att göra en diskursanalys av ett antal utvalda texter från de båda fälten, vill vi se vilka bilder/diskurser som finns av pedofili och även av pedofilen. De frågeställningar vi utgår från i studien är följande; - Vilka olika diskurser kring pedofili kan vi identifiera i vårt analysmaterial?- Hur konstrueras begreppet pedofili och därmed pedofilen, i media och forskning? - Konstrueras genus i diskurserna om pedofili och i så fall på vilket sätt? Den teoretiska referensram vi har använt oss av är poststrukturalismen och den feministiska poststrukturalismen. För att anlägga ett genusperspektiv på studien, kommer vi att utgå från begreppen performativitet, heteronormativitet, genus och den heterosexuella matrisen.

Northeast Stockholm is a region developing fast. There is already a great need for new transport solutions for the people commuting to the city, since long queues slow down car traffic and the local railway, Roslagsbanan, needs to be upgraded to attract more travelers. The competitive advantage of rail?traffic over the car when it comes to greenhouse gases and air pollutants is another reason to develop Roslagsbanan.This report investigates the differences between car and train to create a basis for a proposed expansion of Roslagsbanan. Once the proposal is presented, costs, emissions reductions and public benefits are analyzed.

Denna rapport beskriver utvecklingen av ett system för att växla mellan olika RFID-antenner som skall användas av projektet ?Digital Djurpark?.Systemet ansluts till en RFID-läsare(aktiveringssändare och ID-mottagare) och sex antenner.Det är möjligt att manuellt välja vilken antenn som skall vara aktiv(kopplad till RFID-läsaren) eller aktivera systemet automatisk en antenn och efter en tid byter till nästa i turordning.En antenn aktiveras genom att ett relä slår till och låter signalen passera mellan antenn och RFID-läsaren, antennen avaktiveras när relät slår från. För att aktivera och avaktivera en antenn går en signal från kontrollerkortet till en transistor som i sin tur styr relät.Till varje antennutgång finns också en uppsättning om fem kondensatorer, placerade parallellt med antennen, dessa finns för att kunna finjustera resonansfrekvensen då olika antenner kan skilja i induktans.Styrningen av systemet görs av det sen tidigare använda kontrollerkortet, fast med uppdaterad mjukvara. Det har en USB-port för kommunikation med en dator som tar emot ID från den avlästa taggen och kan välja aktiv antenn. Rapporten tar endast upp mjukvaran som behövs för att kunna växla antenn.Ett förslag på antenn tas fram, vilken består av 2,5mm2 kabel lindad i en kvadratisk spole med sidan ca50cm..

Skolan är en viktig arena för att främja barns långsiktiga hälsa samt att elever ska uppleva idrott och hälsa undervisningen som något positivt. Utifrån denna kunskap har syftet för studien utformats. Uppsatsens syfte var att, utifrån ett genusperspektiv, undersöka elevers upplevelse av skolämnet idrott och hälsa. Studien byggde på två fokusgruppsdiskussioner, en med pojkar och en med flickor i årskurs nio. Fokusgruppsintervjuerna har analyserats med inspiration från systematisk textkondensering.

The purpose of this study is using McDonald?s in China and Sweden as a case to find out how fast food restaurant retailers combine adaptation and standardization with symbolic attributes of store atmospherics under different cultural background, and find out possible reasons. The study used McDonald?s in a case format to study in-store atmospheres. Further, the research has an investigating and explanatory qualitative approach, collecting the empirical data through observation with photos.

Ekonomisk brottslighet (ekobrott) leder till stora skador, dels kapitalmässigt men även för förtroendet av det ekonomiska systemet. Ekobrotten innefattar en mängd brott. Gemensamt för dessa är att de är vinningsbrott i näringsverksamhet. De brott som bildar kärnstrukturen i ekobrottsligheten är skattebrott, bokföringsbrott, brott mot borgenärer, insiderbrott samt brott mot aktiebolagslagen. Ett stort antal andra brott förekommer i kombination med ?vanliga? ekobrott tex mutbrott, brott mot miljöbalken och bedrägeribrott.
