This report is the result of an investigation of the possibility to use RFID-technology in a producing company. The investigation is focused on a flow between the company?s producing subsidiary company in Lithuania and its main facility in Sweden.RFID is the abbreviation for radiofrequency identification. The RFID-technology forms the base of a system with wireless information transmission between an object to which a transponder, also called tag, has been attached and a reader. The information is transmitted by radio waves and the system is equipped with software that can digitalise the radio waves.

By using a qualitative method I have found out that the participants mainly uses PWO to get energy and focus. The aim of this Master of Science Thesis is to develop guidelines and improvementsuggestions of RiNOVA Traffic AB?s dynamic speed bump. The project started with athorough pre study of the design and its function to find out how passing vehiclesaffects the dynamic speed bump. The majority part of the pre study was to createnecessary mathematical models to explain the arisen forces and strains.The results of the mathematical models gave necessary information about the designregarding weaknesses and flaws. The most critical ones where those which interferedwith the design?s performance and reliability, and therefore needed to be corrected.These problems where more thorough analysed and discussed with experts before thefinal guidelines and improvement suggestions where developed.The parts of the design that had to be redesigned were the extension springs and thebearing that enables the dynamic properties.

Early extubation of cardiac surgery patients has become increasingly important. The assessment of the patient before an early extubation is crucial and the intensive care nurses (ICU nurses) in this estimation is there for very important.The aim of this study was to examine critical care nurses' knowledge of early extubation, and what view ICU nurse has about factors that affect the time to extubation of cardiac surgery patients.A quantitative approach with descriptive and comparative design was used. Selection was all ICU nurses at a thoracic intensive care unit who were clinically active in patient care.The study showed that ICU nurses had good knowledge of why an early extubation was essential. However, the knowledge about the unit?s extubation criteria was low.

This study focus on organizations transfer to cloud computing. Today many companies are shifting their attention towards cloud computing and the possibilities that it offers, with more flexibility and lower costs. Different kinds of cloud services, both for use by the individual and the large enterprise, are getting more popular. More and more organizations therefore decide to do the move to the cloud. The aim of this essay is to examine the view on children with disability´s in the end of the 19 Th to the beginning of the 20 Th. Why is the e-revolution of the Swedish film distribution lingering? In attempting to answer that question, this qualitative study depicts the distribution market of Swedish film and its actors. Thirteen interviews with representatives of the industry have been conducted in search of an understanding of the current situation. Two important conclusions are made. One is that the strong interdependency between the actors of film distribution is inhibiting the acting space of those who seek change.

Undersökningen handlade om att ta fram en modell med variabler för att avgöra om det finns några variabler som påverkar inflyttningen till en kommun i Stockholmsområdet och i så fall vilka dessa är.Undersökningen gjordes med hjälp av regressionsanalys av variablerna och metoden som användes var stepwise regression.På så sätt erhölls koefficienterna till modellen och med hjälp utav dessa kunde man tolka om variablerna hade positiv eller negativ inverkan samt testa huruvida väntevärdet skulle kunna vara negativt eller positivt med hjälp av hypotestest med konfidensintervall.Vid tolkning av variablerna så erhöll man att dem flesta variablerna betedde sig enligt dem hypoteserna man slagit fast vid tidigare.Det visade sig att dem flesta utav variablernas väntevärde vid 95% konfidens intervall faktiskt låg inom ett område där det kunde anta både positivt och negativt tecken.Dessutom gjordes residualplottar för att undersöka hur bra modellen var och om det förekom några mönster i variansen, det slogs fast vid observation att inga mönster förekom i plottarna.Slutsatsen man kom fram till att även om vissa variabler betedde sig enligt dem uppskattade hypoteserna så tar modellen inte hänsyn till en del faktorer som kan ändra inflyttningen, samt att det finns fler variabler som kan ha större betydelse för hur folk väljer sin hemkommun..

In the early 1990?s more and more companies of the Swedish public sector were exposed to competition, and this started the debate on how such actions might affect the business and even society.The first chapter examines how the public sector and especially health care, is financed and managed. We also explore what it means to be exposed to competition and find that there are many different ways of exposing the public sector to competition. The study examines dental care as an example of a market with both publicly and privately owned companies. The purpose of this paper is to explore how publicly and privately owned health care companies view their relationship with their consumers.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att kartlägga vilka faktorer som konsumenter prioriterar när de väljer hotell.De respondenter som besvarade enkätundersökningen var författarnas vänner på community-sajten Facebook. Detta gjorde att urvalet blev snedvridet och den största ålderskategorin var 20-29 år. Vi tycker att detta gjorde studien mer intressant då vi har fått fram tydliga resultat kring vad denna åldersgrupp tycker är viktigt.Respondenterna i åldersgruppen 20-29 år tycker att Plats, Pris och Personer var de tre viktigaste faktorerna som de prioriterade vid val av hotell..

Syftet med min uppsats har varit att undersöka hur tre kvinnor genom sina berättelser om jobbiga förlossningar gjort sina upplevelser begripliga i relation till normer om kvinnlighet. Undersökningen består av tre semistrukturerade intervjuer vilka jag, med ett narrativt angreppssätt, analyserat genom att göra en innehållsanalys och en formanalys. Resultatet visar att det i kvinnornas berättelser framkommer tydliga normer kopplade till kvinnlighet. Normerna är flera, men handlar på det stora hela om att barnafödande är någonting naturligt som kvinnor ska klara av utan problem. Då kvinnornas berättelser handlar om upplevelser som avviker från denna norm måste de hela tiden positionera sig själva och sina upplevelser i relation till normen för att kunna förstå sin upplevelse och göra den legitim.

The manufactory industry, due to decline in profit margins, is seeking new business opportunities by moving towards servitization and value-adding services in after-sales. We have therefore conducted a case study to investigate a manufacturing company in their current transformation towards servitization. By studying the management perspective, we aimed to understand how Information Technology, by adding value, could play a role in the transformation process. This study shows that information technology can take an integrating role, by supporting new value-adding services to provider and customer, as well as a co-creating role, where both provider and customer benefits by learning from each other, in the changing work process initiated by new services. The study has also shown that Information Technology, together with organization, information and people, are crucial components in the manufactory industry?s transformation towards servitization.  Furthermore, the study has also shown that the value chain has the potential to drastically change due to the value-adding that the information technology brings to the progress of servitization..

For a long time I have felt that there is a lack of time planning productson the market that attracts me to use them. Therefore I wantedto explore the possibilities of developing something that I reallywanted to use.At first I tried to come up with a more general tool for planningand structuring time, different from the products that are alreadyavailable. But soon I found it more interesting to see myself as theprimary user. This way I felt that I could experiment more and Ididn?t have to take things like production, cost and possible targetgroups into consideration.As I set out with an aim to try and understand my own problemswith planning and structuring time the project became a very personalone.

Bakgrund: Det senaste decenniet har allt fler stormarknader och lågprisbutiker öppnat vilket har lett till att de mindre livsmedelsbutikerna blivit utsatta för större konkurrens. Parallellt med att stormarknaderna tagit marknadsandelar i dagligvarubranschen har även större fokus riktats mot ökat samarbete och informationsdelning i försörjningskedjan, så kallat Supply Chain Management (SCM). Inom dagligvarubranschen har Efficient Consumer Response (ECR) utvecklas ur samma idéer som SCM men med fokus på livsmedel och dess försörjningskedjor. I grund och botten handlar ECR om företagens gemensamma arbete för att integrera verksamheter, minska kostnader samt producera största möjliga nytta för slutkonsumenten. Med tanke på den ökade konkurrensen i dagligvaruhandeln samt det faktum att det finns ont om tidigare forskning om små och medelstora företag (SME:s) relaterat till SCM/ECR, är det intressant att undersöka hur dessa företag påverkas av samarbetet.

Background: The situation for Swedish agricultural production today is characterized by an increased competition, particularly after the country joined the European Union. Swedish agricultural production laws guarantee safe, high quality foodstuffs. However, due to these strict laws, Swedish farmers face higher production costs than their competitors. Meanwhile, cheaper imported goods compete freely on the Swedish market. Swedish agricultural production must find new ways to survive in the increasing competition.
