AbstractThis report aims, through interviews, observations and literature review to examine what some of the youngest children know about the heart, blood and bloodstream. The sample size was twenty children, half of them are at the age of three and the other half is at the age of six.The interviews showed that children at the age of six had better knowledge than children at the age of three, but one child knew that we have the blood corpuscle in the body. He was also the only one who mentioned the blood corpuscle of all children who participated in the research. Children at the age of three could not see the functional relationship between the blood and heart. One child who was six years told that the air we breathe goes directly in the heart from where the blood is circulating to the rest of the body, together with the food.Keywords: heart, blood, bloodstream, the body.

In this essay, Neolithic potsherds from Alby, Öland has been examined. The purpose was to investigate the connection between the lipid residues and the vessel shapes and ornament. To solve the attempt lipid and morphological analyses were executed. The lipid analysis revealed traces of different food residues and the morphological method showed various shapes and decors. The result indicates that the Alby ceramics has been used for cooking/storage of different fish and meat dishes, as well as vegetables and that the vegetables doesn?t derive of cereals..

SO(n) är rotationsgrupper som beskriver rotationer kring origo i motsvarande n-dimensionella rum. Vi betraktar här specifikt rotationsgrupperna SO(2) och SO(3), dessa kan representera en fast kropps rotation kring ett fixt centrum i två och tre dimensioner. Att finna en representation av dessa grupper visar sig i två dimensioner vara lättförståeligt då vi endast behöver en rotationsvinkel för att representera SO(2). I tre dimensioner stöter vi däremot på svårigheter i form av singulariteter då vi försöker avbilda med hjälp av rotationsvinklar. Den japanska produktionsfilosofin Just-In-Time (JIT) är kanske mest förknippad med leveranser som kommer rätt i tid och att rätt sak skall vara på rätt ställe vid rätt tidpunkt samt att ett företag inte skall ha några lager. Även kanban är förmodligen rätt känt. Allt detta är delar av JIT, fast JIT omfattar mycket mer än bara detta. Det finns bland annat även en mänsklig bit inom JIT, som handlar om hur människorna som arbetar i tillverkningen upplever situationen och förhållandet till JIT. Dessa mänskliga bitar är inte lika uppmärksammade som de rent produktionstekniska bitarna som till exempel kanban, fast de är nog så viktiga i alla fall.

Through semi-structured interviews with 8 school photographers and 10 parents,this study attempted to clarify what photographers and parents of children(aged 1?5) in preschool think of photography business in the current situationprovides retouching children?s school photographs and what they considers tobe acceptable. The result shows that companies do not offer photo retouchingfrequent, but performs this service at the direct request of the customer. Themajority of parents agreed that dirt and food was accepted to be removed fromthe photograph, and that this does not affect the child's self image. Abstract CORDIC (Coordinate Rotation Digital Computer) is an iterative algorithm for the calculation of a two-dimensional vector in circular, linear or hyperbolic coordinate systems. Bakgrund: Redovisning av tjänsteuppdrag är ett område som i Sverige karaktäriserats av försiktighet. Kostnader och intäkter har normalt sett redovisats först i den period när resultatet av uppdraget med full säkerhet kunnat fastställas. En successiv avräkning av vinsten, i takt med arbetets framåtskridande, har sällan gjorts. Redovisningsrådet har dock nu kommit med rekommendation nr 11 (RR 11) om redovisning av intäkter (med grund i IAS 18) som träder ikraft 2001. Rekommendationen ska tillämpas av de publika företagen och kräver att längre tjänsteuppdrag vinstavräknas successivt på koncernnivå.

Det här arbetet har utförts hos Atlas Copco AB i Örebro. Arbetet innebar att komma med nya idéer till hur så kallade segment kan utformas. Segment är en kropp av gummi som har urtag där borrstänger kan lagras. Resultatet av arbetet blev att ett alternativt material i armerad PTFE kunde presenteras. Projektet startade med att upprätta en kravspecifikation för ett alternativt material för att därefter göra ett materialval utifrån kravspecifikationen.

To complete an overweight treatment program is associated with better weight loss. Previous studies have in principle focused on drop-out from the entire program, not individual parts of a program. Factors previously shown to influence the patients´ weight loss results are: frequency of individual meetings with a professional, the lack of social support from family or friends, the lack of motivation and in a few studies vacations. In several studies the drop-out patients have stated that their reasons for drop-out were dissatisfaction with the staff and the program design. Drop-out has also been shown to be connected with difficulties in adherence to the diet.
