Butikslayout- mer än bara estetik
The purpose of this study was to investigate the connection between store layout and how it affects us as shoppers. We formed our research questions based on literature. The study was based on observations of shoppers without their knowing they were observed. We didn?t tell shoppers since the science of shopping says that shoppers pattern of movement is something that?s subconscious and if the shoppers had known it would have affected the result of the study.
The Power of the Gift Bag : En studie om användandet av gift bags som marknadsföringskanal
In a time of fierce global competition, where an immense amount of commercial messages reaches consumers around the clock and in every conceivable context, companies constantly seek to find new ways to reach out with their product. One way to do so, that has increased in popularity in recent years, is the use of gift bags. A gift bag may contain samples, miniature products and even products in full size, as a rule from several different brands, which the recipient receives free of charge. The gift bag is typically distributed at some form of event, such as store openings, fashion shows, theme parties and the like, and the receiver of the gift bag can then evaluate the content without any obligation to purchase. The ambition of the companies that choose to participate with their products in a gift bag is, of course, that the recipient will find their products satisfactory, and ideally, that he or she will continue to consume the brand in the future.There are numerous scientific research contributions related to the use of free samples, but very few that concern the gift bag, where a collection of samples from different sources and brands appear.

Sammanfattning Denna studie undersöker på vilket sätt kampidrott beskrivs som viktigt och värdefullt av de som inom kampidrotterna kan anses har formell makt eller tolkningsföreträde.Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet är att analysera meningsskapande praktiker inom kampidrott.? Vilka former av värdeskapande genom utövande av kampidrott framhävs avföreträdare för kampidrotterna?? Vilka skillnader och likheter finns mellan värdeskapande inom kampidrotter och Riksidrottsförbundets officiella styrdokument?MetodMetoden kan beskrivas som deduktiv tematisk analys och forskningsansatsen är främst deskriptiv och analytisk till sin karaktär. Hemsidor publicerade av kampidrotternas specialidrottsförbund samt tidningen Fighter magazine under åren 2007-2008 analyseras utifrån ett teoretiskt ramverk. Överensstämmelser mellan källmaterialets innehåll och teorin registreras som data och analyseras.ResultatUtövande av kampidrott som en form av fysisk träning med målet av förändra sin kropp och förbättra sin hälsa framhävs ofta i materialet. Även färdighetsträning är en ofta förekommande meningskapande praktik inom kampidrott.
Den trojanska bloggen : Bloggreklam, en effektiv marknadsföringskanal?
Purpose The purpose of this paper is from a consumer perspective analysis whether or not blogs are affecting a customer?s purchase behaviour to a larger extent compared to traditional marketing methods through TV commercials. Additionally, within the scope of this try to identify the type of consumers that are more influenced to a purchase decision by blog contents compared to others.Methods Through a quantitative approach this study will examine the effectiveness of advertising in blogs. A survey was used in order to collect data where the respondents corresponded to the population in Sweden in the ages 15-79. Initially the size of the blog audience was estimated and thereafter it was examined how many of these that were affected towards a purchase decision by blogs.

Detta är ett av flera strategiska knep som marknadsförare kan använda sig av för att locka individer till köp; genom att nämna att tillskotten kan leda till muskeluppbyggnad.
En studie av spårbarhetssystem i modeindustrin
Allmänheten har blivit mer uppmärksammad vad gäller miljörelaterade frågor och ställer högre krav på företag att arbeta för en hållbar utveckling. Generellt sett har företagen utformade riktlinjer vad gäller arbetsmiljö och arbetsvillkor men sämre insyn i produktionens miljöpåverkan. Samtidigt som medvetenheten om miljöproblemen ökar, ökar konsumtionen av billiga kläder, så kallad ?fast fashion? konsumtion. Detta är inte förenligt med en hållbar utveckling då textilindustrin kräver stora mängder energi, råmaterial och kemikalieutsläpp.

Kundservice har blivit allt viktigare inom detaljhandel i och med den ökade försäljningen som sker på internet. Kundservice har nästan blivit en form av marknadsföring för fysiska butiker. Trotts den hårda konkurrensen mellan butiker på marknaden kan man som kund uppleva dålig service och kundbemötande. Det kan bero på fler faktorer, en av faktorerna skulle kunna vara att butikssäljare är snabba att kategorisera kunder efter deras attribut. Så hur stor påverka har egentligen våra kläder på människors bedömning om oss? Kan kundbemötandet i butik påverkas av de kläder som en kund bär? Detta är frågor som väckte intresset för ämnet i den här studien och som ligger till grund för studiens huvudfråga.

"Hur mycket invandring tål Sverige?" : Invandrings- och integrationsdiskurser hos tre elitskribenter och på Avpixlat- en relationell studie
Drawing on theories of ethnic representations in mainstream news media and racial discrimination (van Dijk 2000, Hultén 2006, Husband & Downing 2005, Wodak 2011), and using methods of critical discourse analysis (mainly van Dijk 1993, 1991, Fairclough 1995) this bachelor thesis aims to investigate the inter-textual and inter-discursive relationship between selected editorial and opinion pieces written by three mainstream right wing ?symbolic elites? and the xenophobic blog ?Avpixlat?. The three selected symbolic elites are: Per Gudmundsson, editorial writer at the second largest Swedish newspaper SvD, Andreas Johansson Heinö, academic with a P.H.D. in political science, specialized on issues of integration and ethnic relations, and Paulina Neuding, editorial writer at SvD and editor in chief for right-wing oriented magazine Neo. All three are actively taking part in the mediated discussion of ethnic relations in Sweden from a liberal-conservative perspective.

For the past decade, the use of ecommerce has spread tremendously and the fashion industry is one of the top three industries in this category. This, together with the growth of technology, have created new opportunities for consumers during their online shopping. The purpose of this study is to examine the differences between consumers who use physical store, online store or both. This study aims to look into consumers' shopping habits within these sales channels and factors that are affecting them.

The strategy when you change the visual part of the brand identity is often referred to as Corporate rebranding and is seen as a good way to show that a company has undergone a change. Despite high risks and high costs, this strategy has become more common and there are companies today who make the choice to change an already well-known graphic profile. This phenomenon is what underlies this essay?s problem statement: Why does a company with an already well-known graphic profile choose to change it and how does the process behind the change occur? In what way have the company?s customers recognized the change and how has the company?s image changed in this context? The purpose of this essay is therefore to explore the process that occurs when a company in the sport and fashion industry changes its visual identity and to explore how the company?s customers have perceived the change.To fulfil the purpose of the essay a case study was carried out on a company?s Corporate rebranding process. The company that was chosen was the Swedish sports retail chain Stadium Sweden AB who decided to change its graphic profile even though their logo was one of the two most recognized in their field.

However, in modern settings today many corporations originate in a team-based structure, which therefore leads towards a different approach rather than examining exclusively on individuality. Previous research shows that entrepreneurial teams are establishing and growing at a steady pace, yet studies within this field has not developed in an extensive fashion. Entrepreneurial teams can be defined as a group of people who share a common goal, usually consisting of two or more individuals who commenced a foundation from the early stages of that specific firm and who originated an initial idea.

And as e-commerce grows, the competing players has to remain accessible and usable regard-less of the device their customers visit the website on. Stadium is Swedens biggest player on the market and puts a lot of effort on their online activity. Something Stadium found interesting was the possibility of introducing elements that would increase the conversion rates directly into the product menu. This study explores the possibility to find a responsive solution for the product menu at Stadiums? e-commerce website which could contribute to increased conversion rates.The study is built upon an experiment and the foundations of the experiment is based upon a market analysis of used design patterns for product navigation in the domain of sport resellers.
