Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka om man med utgångspunkt i Steampunk-genren inom datorspel, kan göra en implementation av stereotypa High fantasy-element och hur det kommer att uppfattas av Steampunk-entusiaster. Kommer de överhuvudtaget att märka skillnaden och om så är fallet, hur pass stor inverkan tycker de att implementationen har?För att undersöka detta så skapades två karaktärskoncept, en man och en kvinna. Dessa karaktärer utrustades sedan med fyra uppsättningar karaktäristiska kläder och föremål från Steampunk-genren. Sedan lade jag till två stereotypa detaljer från High fantasyn på varje karaktär.

Problem: How is management accounting change understood via the duality perspective in the field of alternative management accounting research?Purpose: The purpose of this essay is to develop a tool for analysis aspiring to provide understanding for how differences and similarities with regards to the duality perspective may have different consequences for understanding management accounting change.Contribution: This paper aspires towards a theoretical contribution through an in-depth review of existing conceptual literature. This is done to gain clarity in definitions and uses of concepts, with related terms, referring or relating to duality. Through clarifying different meanings of duality, consequences for how to understand management accounting change, and the different approaches to using a duality perspective, the tool for analysis which is developed in this essay aims to contribute to a movement of alternative management accounting research towards increased comparability as well as increased insight into how management accounting change is currently understood through this type of research.Method: Literature reviews based on Booth et al.s SALSA-framework. Creation of a tool for analysis for usage when reviewing material based on a duality perspective.Conclusions: The duality perspective differs, and affects understanding of management accounting change, in accordance with the following five themes:Theme 1: The duality perspective is affected by differences in the use of definitions/descrptions.Theme 2: The duality perspective is affected by different purposes of the agent and different credit given to the agents power/ability to alter change.Theme 3: The content of the duality perspective is affected by the existence and purpose off being inspired by different theoretical approaches.Theme 4: The duality perspective affects the idea and understanding of the form and expression/process of management accounting.Theme 5: Different duality perspectives have the ability to lead science against increased pluralism and/or synthesisIn order to increase understanding for and comparability between scientific contributions through a duality perspective there is to some extent a need for more and better definitions and a more problematizing when combining theoretical approaches.

The aim of this study is to describe how a theme about vitamins and analytical chemistry can be planed and implemented in a summer research school managed by AstraZeneca. The description of the theme is intended to be used as an instructor?s guide to upcoming summers-research-schools with the same theme. The students, which participated in the summer school of 2007, went to upper secondary school. During the summer school they were going to investigate the content of vitamin C in different fruits and vegetables.

Pupils learn in different ways. It?s up to the teachers´ to give pupils the knowledge they need to live and work in society. The teacher should be aware of the ways of children learn in the classroom and should teach accordingly. Pupils work individually but should even be offered some kind of group work regularly.

The purpose of this Masters thesis is to analyze the research front within medical ethics. We wish to identify which research themes that are included in the subject field of medical ethics. The research themes can be identified by a couple of bibliometrical methods and techniques. In our case, it is bibliographic coupling combined with a cluster analysis. The analysis is accomplished by the extracted references from articles in the two journals Bioethics and Journal of medical ethics.

The main purpose of the essay is to examine women?s relationship to computer games, and more specifically women?s attitudes to the games they play. AbstractWhen I was a child my mother and I wrote a lot of poems, but in school we didn´t write poems at all. As a teacher I want to show the children the joy and happiness of writing poems, stories and fairy tales.The purpose of this report was to investigate the work with poetry and creative writing in my class and how the pupils experienced their own work/writing. I began with asking the pupils in my class a few and simple questions about poetry, then we made a diffrent kinds of poetry writing and a finally I repeated the interviews with the children. The poetry writing took place during six weeks under the spring semester.I found that as a teacher it is possible to work with creative writing and poetry in diffrent ways. The pupils enjoyed the writing and their opinions were that they had increased their skills in rhyming, writing and spelling, that they had learnt new words and to use their fantasy and that they had learnt a great deal of how to cooperate.KeywordsCreative writing, fantasy, poems..

Aim: The aim of this study was to determine whether or not there is evidence for the usage of ginger as an antiemetic in patients experiencing chemotherapy related nausea, based on available scientific literature.Methods: The original articles were found by using search engines PubMed and CINAHL. The selected articles were then analyzed based on their content, quality and results. Based on the results from the content analysis the articles were placed in four different themes.Results: In the first theme two of the articles found that ginger had significant effect on chemotherapy related nausea, when used in combination with regular antiemetic treatment. Two other articles said that it does not. In the second theme four studies found that different forms of ginger lessens nausea, in contrast two other articles found that it does not have any increased effect on said nausea.

Gränsland is a poetry collection by the poet Eva Sjödin. One distinct theme among others in Gränsland is repulsion and attraction, disgust and fascination in interaction. There is also a direction inwards and towards something. This essay is an attempt to analyse this theme. I will apply Julia Kristevas theory on abjection, a theory that explains these contradictory feelings and movements of the subject.

The aim of the thesis is to find a deeper understanding and knowledge concerning the interpretation of racism as a phenomenon in the everyday life of children in the age of 12-13 years old. To achieve the aim of the thesis I have used parts of the phenomenographic theories as a methodological implement. The conclusions made are represented through four different themes. The first theme deals with the way children apply to verbal overtones of racism in their everyday language. The second theme is about how some children discuss thoughts on integration and assimilation as phenomenon.

This essay contents a theme-centred study of Elsa Grave?s poetry. It presents an all-pervading featured doom-theme and illuminates three motifs and attitudes through which the theme is featured. By experience my answer is: not many. Inthis essay I have outlined differences in method and lecture planning between a eurhythmic and a music teacher, to be able to find out the answer to my research question - what a eurhythmic teacher can contribute to the school subject music.I chose an observation research where I observed a mixed class with children from fourth and fifth grade.

The aim of this study was to explore nursing students experiences of developing empathy and professional relationship in encounters with patients and next of kin during their education. Interviews with five nursing students were carried out. The method of analysing content analysis was used. One main theme and five subthemes were presented.
