Background: Overweight is a health problem throughout the western world. Child health care (CHC) nurses and school nurses meet many children and their Families and have the opportunity to work with prevention. The purpose of this study was to investigate the CHC - and school nurse´s experiences and reflections in the work on obesity in children. The aim was also to investigate the structural conditions CHC- and school nurse feel the need for this work. Method: The study had a qualitative approach with descriptive design.

Bakgrund: Överviktiga barn lider större risk att bli överviktiga och feta i vuxen ålder. Med övervikt och fetma finns det större risk att drabbas av bland annat diabetes samt hjärt- och kärlsjukdomar. Övervikten och fetman påverkar barnets livskvalité ur flera aspekter. Metod: Litteraturbaserad studie med grund i nio vetenskapliga artiklar. Artiklarna analyserades med fokus på resultat.

The main aim of this study is to determine whether the monastery in Ny Varberg has been used as a hospital during its active years. The second aim has been to investigate weather the buried individuals at the monastery at Ny Varberg exclusively are deceased monks. Only individuals from the monastery's active years has been included in this study. A total of 16 inhumated individuals was analysed. Both men, women and children was shown to be present, as well as wide spread of children and adults.

It inspired us to fulfill this study. The aim of the study is to describe and analyze what knowledge family therapists in two Swedish municipalities use in family therapy work.

Despite the fact that men dominate substance abuse research and that most programs to target substance abuse therefore are developed by and for men, very little is known about the fact that substance abusing men can also be parents. Mothers are up until today regarded as the most important parent even though society is changing and fathers are taken a more active part in childrearing. The average father today still spends significantly less time with his children than the average mother does and marginalised drug abusing fathers often disappear from their Families altogether. The goal and purpose of this paper has been that through a qualitative analyses of written sources and qualitative interviews with healthcare professionals and social workers recognise how marginalised drug abusing fathers interests of taking part in their children's lives are met by healthcare, treatment and child protection agencies and how we can understand marginalised fathering as an extension of how we view ordinary fathering. I wanted to examine if there are any specific actions taken in involving these men as fathers and how we can understand their situation.

This thesis aims to examine the differences in interpretation and application of the new legislation regarding the standardized parental deduction within the Social Insurance Code and the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments. The primary focus is on the differing perspectives of the Swedish Social Insurance Inspectorate (ISF) and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (F?rs?kringskassan). ISF emphasizes the importance of referencing legislative preparatory works in interpreting the law and has criticized F?rs?kringskassan for failing to do so in its administrative practices.

SAMMANFATTNINGInledning: Brister i kommunikationen vårdpersonal emellan är en bidragande faktor tillmajoriteten av alla skador och missöden i vården. Anestesisjuksköterskan lämnar patienternatill en uppvakningsavdelning efter att anestesin har avslutats där hon ger en muntlig rapporttill intensivvårdssjuksköterska. Den muntliga överrapporteringen har som syfte attsäkerhetsställa kontinuiteten i vården. Anestesi- och intensivvårdssjuksköterskan är två olikaspecialistområden och ämnet kommer att beskrivas ur dessa två perspektiv.Syfte: Studiens syfte är att beskriva anestesi- och intensivvårdssjuksköterskor upplevelse avmuntlig postoperativ överrapportering.Metod: En pilotstudie utfördes med fyra semistrukturerade intervjuer; tvåanestesisjuksköterskor respektive två intensivvårdssjuksköterskor för att pröva studienshållbarhet. Resultatet av pilotstudien kommer att redovisas.

The aim of the study was to examine how substance abuse influences social relationships to Families, friends and others. Five ex addicts in a treatment centre were interviewed. We used thematic interviews with themes that we regarded as relevant for our study. In the analysis we applied the theoretical concept of symbolic interactionism. Theories of emotions also helped us to explain feelings that arise in the social relationships.

Nipahvirus is most likely spread from bats to other species and causes lethal encephalitis in humans and respiratory illness in pigs. Different species are affected with varying severity but it seems to have an unprecedented zoonotic capacity and the humans affected either die or receive permanent brain damage. Full recovery is possible but very uncommon. Pigs that live and are bread in the areas that these bats frequent are constantly in danger of contracting pneumonias and meningitis and they can spread the virus further on to the people who work with the pigs and process their carcasses. These workers could then infect other humans in their immediate surroundings, their Families for instance.

I have through a case study looked on a milkingfarm in Dalarna and been counting on what it would cost to increase the silagestorage. Today they have to little capacity on the existing towersilo because they built a bigger farm with more cows. The reason is that two Families decided to start having the production on one farm together and moved all animals from one of the farms to the other farm. So for that reason I have looked on the costs to build a new towersilo or levelsilo. The goal has been not only to look at the buildingcost but also which operatingcost that is included with the different alternatives. I have taken tenders from two different towersilocompany, Bjurenwall and Svenska Neuero and taken tenders from Abetong for a levelsilo with roof and one without roof. The overall feed requirements on the farm is on 240 tonnes dry extract and the old towersilo hold 110 tonnes dry extract so the need for a new foundation is on 130 tonnes dry extract. I have through cost estimate been counting on the specific buildingcost for each buildingaltenative.

The social imbalance recruitment has been a current topic for years. Since much research has focused on the higher education's problems with this, this thesis aims to investigate if you are already at the high school choice were influenced by your social background. To get a further dimension to this topic, the French sociologist Bourdieus thoughts on people's possession of, what he calls cultural capital was used, and we made use of it in the sense of parental education. Through a survey conducted in four ninth grades in two municipalities with different characteristics in terms of socio-economic conditions, we asked questions about their choice to high school. What programs did they choose? What factors were important? And which person had influenced them? The results showed a pretty clear dividing line between the pupils who came from homes with strong cultural capital to those who did not in the same sense.

The purpose with this study was to describe and analyse the daily activities of a criminal group in a southern suburb of Stockholm, Norra Botkyrka, and their attitude to drugs, the police, crimes in general, accomplices and their plans for the future. The study is a combination of different qualitative methods that is built on unobtrusive methods and interviews that was carried out during winter in 2006 and spring in 2007 and six interviews. My interest to carry out this study was grounded on my several years of experience as a prison and probation officer in the prison. I chose to ?live? with a group of criminals and participated in some of their social activities.The respondents that I chose to call ?anti-heroes? proudly tell me about their criminal lifestyle that characterizes of violence, drugs, crimes and conflict where this people show no regret.

Bakgrund: Vetskapen om att barn utsätts för övergrepp, kränkningar eller försummelse berör oss människor starkt. Utsatthet är när en vuxen person utsätter ett barn för fysiskt eller psykiskt våld, sexuella övergrepp, kränkningar eller försummar att tillgodose barnets grundläggande behov. Distriktssköterskans roll i barnhälsovården är att minska skadlig påfrestning för barnföräldrar samt att minska hälsoproblem för barnfamiljen och ge stöd och vård till barn och föräldrar. Syftet med studien var att undersöka distriktssköterskans erfarenhet av att arbeta med utsatta barn och deras familjer, samt hur distriktssköterskan stödjer och bemöter familjen. Metod: Åtta distriktssköterskor intervjuades och kvalitativ innehållsanalys med induktiv ansats användes för att analysera data.

Syftet med studien var att finna vilka uppfattningar yrkesverksamma inom socialt arbete har om barns situation i familjer med alkoholmissbruksproblematik. Vi ville även belysa deras uppfattningar kring deras eget arbete med familjerna. Studien byggdes upp via en fenomenografisk ansats med socialkonstruktivismen som teoretisk grund. Fenomenografin fokuserar på vad ett fenomen uppfattas vara istället för vad fenomenet är. En uppfattning är enligt fenomenografin någonting som sällan är en företeelse för reflektion utan snarare något som finns i det undermedvetna.
