Endocrine disruptive chemicals (EDCs) are found in many everyday products and can cause adverse effects on human health. Small children are particularly sensitive to EDCs and they are also exposed to them in a greater extent than adults. Despite this, EDCs are only banned in a few toys and childcare products. There are many sources of exposure and if no steps are taken to reduce the incidence of EDCs we may face an increasing number of people diagnosed with obesity, diabetes type 2 or various types of cancer.The Swedish Government has set a number of environmental objectives, one of which is calleda non-toxic environment. The Swedish Chemicals Agency was instructed to produce and conduct a national action plan to achieve this goal.

Toothbrushing is the best available method in remaining or restore dental health in dogs. This report treats different aspects about toothbrushing and other dental home care treatments in dogs. Questions like why the dog?s teeth should be brushed, what effects toothbrushing have on dental health and how the teeth can be brushed are treated. Denna uppsats behandlar åtta olika tidningsomslag som har varit omtalade i media under de senaste trettio åren. Dessa omslag kommer från de kända mode- och livsstilsmagasinen Vogue, Vogue Italia, och GQ. Omslagen analyseras utifrån ett feministiskt bildperspektiv, med semiotisk och ikonografisk bildanalys som analysmetoder för att svara på vår huvudfrågeställning; vad gestaltar omslagen utifrån ett feministiskt perspektiv, då man andvänder semiotik och ikonografi som analysmetoder? Som en vidareutveckling av till den feministiska analysen har vi även studerat vad som sagts om omslagen i olika medier. .

The purpose of this study was to examine the relation between self-determination theory and its three basic needs: competence, autonomy and relatedness, and commitment to change in an organizational change. Another purpose was to examine if the quality of the communication and the effects on the organization and way to work can predict commitment to change. Considering that organizational changes is very common today there is an interest to ease and improve the change process. The survey contained the scales Commitment to change scale and Basic need satisfaction at work scale and the participants were 39 office-workers who recently had gone through an organizational change. The result indicated that it?s possible to predict commitment to change from self-determination theory, communication and effects on organization and way to work.

Vi har även undersökt två delsyften: Hur konsumentens syn på företagets varumärke påverkas när företaget väljer att marknadsföra sig på personliga mode- och skönhetsbloggar, samt hur konsumentens beteende påverkas rörande faktiska köp..

Enligt Boverkets byggregler, BBR, som är en svensk regelsamling för byggande ska det säkerhetsställas tillfredsställande utrymning vid brand när byggnader eller anläggningar utformas. En viktig och avgörande faktor för att utrymning sker på ett tillfredsställande sätt är utrymningstiden. En väsentlig arbetsuppgift brandingenjörer har är dimensioneringen av byggnadernas eller anläggningarnas brandskydd och säkerställa att förhållandena vad avser en tillfredsställande utrymning eftersträvas. När det kommer till utrymning finns en rad olika beräkningsmodeller att tillgå i form av handberäkningar och datorprogram.

Today the talk about global warming and climate change are on top of the public agenda. There for schools and schoolbooks also debate the issue of global warming. A newcomer on the school stage is the sponsored school materials that studies show to be a growing phenomenon. In a debate like that of global warming which is filled with uncertainties and so much political and economic interest, I find it interesting to study how these schoolbooks talk about the issue.In my study I have tried to analyze and compare how school materials for primary school discuss the phenomenon of global warming. I have compared two different types of schoolbooks.
