REALISTISKT SPELKARAKTÄRSBETEENDE VID ANVÄNDANDET AV HMD
Denna undersökning faller under två olika teoretiska fält, Sommerseth (2007), som använder sig av fenomenologins teorier för att förklara realism inom dataspel, och Freeman m.fl. (2000) som har en psykologisk utgångspunkt. Tillsammans används dessa teorier för att undersöka hur spelare uppfattar animationer i förhållande till Oculus Rift. Denna undersökning genomfördes genom åtta kvalitativa intervjuer, där deltagarna fick testa två olika versioner av ett spel, med olika animationer. Deltagarna filmades för att kunna observeras i efterhand.

This master thesis investigates quality procedures and measuring of solid carbide end mills, with the main focus on measuring equipment. The thesis has been written in collaboration with a special production department for solid carbide end mills at Sandvik Coromant in Gimo. The department?s needs and constraints have been the foundation of the project and the main research question is: how to measure end mills in order to ensure good quality of the produced end mills. The project has contained both a theoretical study consisting of a literature review and practical studies in the workshop with the objective to identify an end mill?s main parameters and the relationship between an end mill?s geometry and the manufacturing processes.

Numerical simulations play a vital role in both static and dynamic stability assessment of electric power systems and the foreseeing of voltage collapse. Simulations performed by Svenska Kraftnät(SvK) are mainly done in the specialized voltage collapse predicting software tool, SPICA and the more all?purpose software tool, ARISTO.The grid operators at SvK use SPICA to predict the maximum transfer limit at specified sections (in this report the section in concerns is the southern part of Sweden i.e. interface1 4). SPICA is mainly used as an online application by using actual states from the grid, these states update every quarter of an hour.This thesis is a continuation of the master thesis SPICA ? This is a qualitative study made to find out individuals experience of life in the residential Kronoparken in Karlstad. The study is a part of a municipality supported project aiming to find points of improvement and work for the area's development. This study is a first step to hear in what way the residents themselves describe their neighborhood and their lives. A total of thirteen people participated in focus groups with semi-structured interviews as data collection and the study was based on an availability sample which in this case meant that citizens of the residential Kronoparken were asked to participate. Data were analyzed through thematic analysis and in the analysis three themes appeared that summed up what the participants talk about and emphasized most: a divided area, anticipation and valuation as well as a comfortable and healthy every day living.
Automatiserad riggning och tidssparande
Denna uppsats handlar om programmering av autoriggningsverktyg för Maya 2013 som skulle effektivisera animeringsproduktionspipelinen genom att spara tid vid riggningsdelen av animeringspipelinen. Vidare handlar denna uppsats om utvärdering av tiden som man kan spara vid användningen av detta autoriggningsverktyg. Verktyget är flexibelt på det sätt att den stödjer humanoida karaktärer och är användbar för mer än mänskliga karaktärer. Tiden som spenderas att manuellt rigga samma typ av karaktärrigg varierar från person till person och det kan ta väldigt lång tid, därför gjordes en enkät som delades ut till deltagare som är erfarna inom riggningsområdet. Resultaten av denna enkät hjälper vid beräkningen av tiden som kan sparas med autoriggningsverktyg i en animeringspipeline.

SAMMANFATTNING
Denna litteraturstudie syftar till att utvärdera hjärtfrekvens och hjärtfrekvensvariabilitet som fysiologiska mått på mental stress hos häst. För att utvärdera detta har olika artiklar studerats. Artiklarna redovisar studier där hästar utsätts för framför allt mentala stressmoment. Under stressmomenten har antingen hjärtfrekvens (HR) eller hjärtfrekvens och hjärtfrekvensvariabilitet (HRV) registrerats. Hjärtfrekvensvariabiliteten kan omvandlas till ett antal parametrar, bland annat lågfrekvensband (LF) och högfrekvensband (HF).

A totally mixed ration (TMR) is a mixture of all the necessary feed components for the cow. She will eat the exact same feed in every bite which will make the rumen pH more stable and always supply her with a constant proportion between roughage and concentrate. This will make it possible for the cow to eat more dry matter (DM) a day because the fibre requirements are fulfilled. If a part of the concentrate is given separated from the mixture it is called partly mixed rations (PMR) and is almost always used when using an automatic milking system (AMS). When using TMR and PMR it is important to have a high hygiene, be accurate when mixing the feed and to look after cows in a good and strict way.
The aim of this study was to document different farms with PMR in an AMS to see which routines they have and how they are managing their production.

This project consists of an adaptation, trial and evaluation of a model for practicing. Based on prior research I created a model aiming mainly to raise a musician?s self- awareness around the different parameters a performance consists of. An additional wish was for it to simultaneously assist the musician in monitoring his or her progress. With video recording and self-evaluation as the two main parts I tried the model by using it over a period of three months.

A problem in the field of district heating is the oil burners needed to provide power when a peak load occurs. One possible way of reducing the needed amount of oil is to reduce the power demand for space heating in the district-heating substations when the need for district heating water exceeds a certain limit. This can be done by use of a locally working controller function.In this Thesis the options concerning load priority are evaluated. To evaluate the potential for using controller functions concerning peak load priority an experiment was brought out in a chosen district-heating substation. The impact on the indoor thermal comfort during a heat reduction was also taken into account.
Kollision deformation med fokus på solida objekt
En realistisk simulation kräver att alla simulerade objekten ska interaktivt och dynamiskt animeras. Delar av objektens kropp ska deformeras och andra delar ska sönderfalla vid en krock med ett annat objekt. De flesta 3d applikationer har som gemensamt vissa tekniker som används vid dynamiska simulationer. Tyvärr så finns det inte en smidig och snabb teknik för att deformera solida objekt vid kollisioner, detta gäller även Maya som jag använde i detta arbete. Detta arbete ska visa en smidig teknik att deformera vissa delar av en komplicerad modell och få andra delar att splittras och spridas i en dynamisk simulation som är både fysiskt rätt och ser visuellt bra ut.
3D-visualisering till Eve
Vi har under tio veckor producerat en del av Peter Martinssons film Eve. Vi har stått bakom en stor del av den tekniska biten. Vi har inte deltagit något i idéarbetet och idén bakom filmen, däremot har vi påverkat det visuella resultatet genom att göra stora delar av bakgrundsmaterialet. På så sätt har våra idéer och vår konst fått en stor del i filmen. Genom detta arbete har vi velat utveckla våra kunskaper främst i programmet AliasWavefront Maya, men även rent estetiskt.
Simulation av Xbox Live Indie Games gränssnittet
This thesis was developed as an assignment from Ludosity Interactive where the goal was to develop a copy of the Xbox Live Indie Games-marketplace from the Xbox 360. Ludosity Interactive had a necessity to easily test a game's attractiveness to potential customers using testing people from outside the company in a simulated Xbox Live Indie Games test environment; excluding this developed system there is no other way to do such an analysis without actually releasing the game on the Xbox Live Indie Games marketplace and then analyze the resulting sales from the product.The finished system had to be similar to the original system to the degree that a user could see past the interface itself and use the system just as he/she would have used the real marketplace. It also had to be easy to change and add games to the system so that Ludosity Interactive easily could show the games and the data that they deemed interesting for their tests. The final product was developed using C#, XNA and XML together with an Agileinspired development method in combination with Pivotal Tracker. This report describes how this product was developed..
