When migration to a country increases, the integration of the migrants becomes extra important for the host country?s society, economy and culture. In the last decade, Europe has faced several crises, such as the refugee crisis and the covid-19 pandemic, which has affected both migration and integration policy. The challenges that have characterized European society in recent years makes it interesting to study how the measures highlighted by the European Commission to integrate migrants has developed. Therefore, the paper aims to compare the Commission?s action plans for integration published in 2016 and 2020 based on the threat theory and the contact theory to see how both perspectives can contribute to understanding the differences between the years and which theory is best suited to understand the Commission?s current visions of integration.

Uppsatsen syfte var att förstå hur fyra unga män formar sin identitet och sin livsstil genom sina användarprofiler och sitt beteende på Facebook. Arbetet beskriver även hur dessa personer anpassar sig efter andra användare och vilken funktion Facebook fyller i deras identitetsprocesser. Materialet består av fokusgruppsintervjuer, personliga intervjuer och uppföljningsenkäter. Den information som materialet genererade visade att de unga männen till stor grad anpassar sig efter omgivningen på Facebook. Facebook är en stor del av de studerade individernas vardag och är en bidragande faktor till deras självbild.

Integration is a phenomena that occurs in all societies that experience any form of immigration. This process is dependent on how we analyze, both the groups of immigrants, and how we analyze the society in which they becoming integrated.Intersectionality is one method of analyzing this framework. By applying the categories: gender, class and race on the integration process, we get a more complex picture of the subject. Therefore we also become more able to adjust the actions and arrangement around the different questions of inte-gration.In this essay I try to explain what the intersectionality is, how it is used and how it can apply in integration as a specific subject. I also apply the intersectionality model on different policy documents from Malmö, Vellinge and Landskrona to find out if they show any awareness of this model both explicitly and implicitly..

Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka Facebooks betydelse som identitetsskapare. Undersökning utfördes utifrån begreppen information och relation. Följande frågeställningar användes; Vilken betydelse får informationen på Facebook för identitetsskapande? Vilken betydelse får Facebook för relationer och vad får det i sin tur för betydelse för identitetsskapande? Undersökningen hade en kvalitativ ansats och en abduktiv metod. Empirin bestod av intervjuer samt statusuppdateringar.

Företags närvaro på Facebook har under de senaste åren ökat kraftigt. En uppfattning är attföretag, stora som små, har etablerat sig på Facebook för att vara ?rätt i tiden?. The essay is about how immigrant pupils are integrated into the Swedish school and society. I have studied how teachers work with integrating these pupils and if there is a plan of act used in their work. The essay is also about how social relations can be used as a pedagogical resource by the teachers when the institutional framework and support is failing..

The aim with this paper is to study how the integrational ideology of the Swedish parliaments party platforms, including the right wing Sverigedemokraterna, is formulated. The integration theories examined are assimilationism, multiculturalism, universalism and residualism. In turn these theories are simultaneously applied to the party platforms extracting explicit or implicit messages of the four former mentioned theories. The Swedish history of integration as well as immigration, which per capita is one of the highest in the European union, pinpoints the reason why this subject is due to further investigation. The results show that most of the parties contain traces of more than one integration theory, with the exception of primarily Sverigedemokraterna which focuses on assimilationism.

The numbers of mergers and acquisitions have increased significantly in the last period of time. Although this popularity for mergers and acquisitions, most of the mergers and acquisitions fail to create value. One explanation to this failure of value creation is, according to several studies, how companies treat integration of information systems in the pre-merger evaluation. The research within the field argues that information system integration should have a proactive role in mergers and acquisitions, meaning that information system integration should support the organizational change and normally be considered in the premerger evaluation. Today's young people increasingly tend to sit at home and relax, instead of being out and meet friends. This is based on my observations from my experience as a teacher. They are more and more in front of their computers and living their lives through their various Internet sites. There I was, stuck on how they behave in their environment, both private and public but also to their friends and their families versus their "internetlife". Vi har genom intervjuer i fokusgrupper undersökt hur gymnasiestuderande 18-åriga ungdomar i Sundsvall reflekterar över bilder och bildpublicering på det sociala mediet Facebook. Tre fokusgrupper bestående av kvinnor, tre fokusgrupper bestående av män har resonerat kring frågor som berör fyra teman: medialisering, integritet, självbild och etik. Totalt ingick 24 ungdomar i undersökningen.Studien besvarar frågor kring varför ungdomar publicerar bilder på Facebook och vilka problem och konsekvenser denna bildpublicering kan resultera i, samt om det finns några skillnader mellan män och kvinnor i deras svar.Studiens ungdomar lever ett medierat liv. De återberättar händelser ur verkliga livet på Facebook med hjälp av bilder. Studiens ungdomar använder sig även av bilder för att skapa sina digitala jag, och ser dessa bilder som en viktig del av hur de uppfattas av andra.

A common form of communication within Facebook is the communication between users via status updates. If you write a status update all your friends have the opportunity to read and to respond to the update. The overall issue of this survey is: how are Facebook users to commu- nicate with status updates?  The survey aims to gain insight and greater understanding of communication patterns and user awareness of social contexts when they write status  updates. The study will act as an attempt to understand a small part of a complex interaction taking place in a social situation.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how a public library, as an information center and a meeting place, may contribute to bring Swedes and immigrants closer to one another, which is a prerequisite for integration. To realize this purpose, I have asked three questions. Which conditions and demands are stated in central documents for libraries immigrant activities? What do the library called Biblioteket Västers multicultural activities contain? How does the library conceive its object to strengthen immigrants identity so that its activities, contribute to integration? As method, I have used hermeneutics, which means that I have interpreted the thesis material. In the theory I have described relevant literature and confirmed the importance of identity, language and the majoritys acknowledgement for integration.

Funktionsinriktad musikterapi (FMT) är en musikterapimetod som används för att stödja individen i dennes utveckling oavsett ålder och funktionsnivå. I examensarbetet analyseras på vilket sätt FMT kan stödja barn med autism i deras utveckling. Hur kan sensorisk integration hos dessa barn stimuleras i FMT? Av fallbeskrivningarna framgår det att de två barn som fick FMT båda har visat tecken på positiva förändringar inom samverkan/kommunikation, motivation, språkutveckling, perception och rörelsekoordination. Sensorisk integration ingår i alla dessa moment och det är därför svårt urskilja den som en separat funktion.

Denna studie behandlar det sociala nätverket Facebooks mest aktiva användare, personer mellan 16 och 25 år. Studien studerar skälen bakom varför många väljer att inte sätta sig in i detalj i Facebooks användarvillkor och policy för dataanvändning, samt vilken attityd dessa användare har i frågan om avtalen i förhållande till användarnas beteende på Facebook. Syftet med studien är att kartlägga Facebooks mest aktiva användares kännedom om Facebooks elektroniska avtal som användarna ingår med Facebook vid registrering för att ta del av Facebook. Studien är sammanställd genom en kvantitativ, webbaserad enkätundersökning som genererade 136 svar, varav 98 svar från respondenter inom den undersökta målgruppen, samt två kvalitativa, fokusgruppsdiskussioner med semistrukturerade frågor varav sammanlagt sex respondenter medverkade. Studien visade att de mest aktiva användarna på Facebook visar en likgiltighet gentemot avtalen där användarvillkoren och datapolicyn sällan läses.
