Samband mellan virulensgener och VTEC-infektioner : Riskklassificeringssystem för VTEC

To curb greenhouse gases and mitigate climate change is one of the biggest challenges human society face today. Carbon dioxide (CO2) has accumulated rapidly in the atmosphere as a consequence of burning of fossil fuels and deforestation. The aim of this study is to explore two methods to store carbon dioxide in geological formations and biological sinks. The aim is also to discuss the two mitigation options from a sustainable perspective and whether it can lead to a better environment and benefits for local and global societies. The research questions are: Which method to store carbon dioxide, geological or biological, is the most effective? Which method to store carbon dioxide, geological or biological, has the greatest potential to promote sustainable development for local communities?The method used is a comparative case study and presents four case studies that explore the potential for CO2 storage offshore in Norway and Brazil; and in tropical forests in Mexico and Brazil.

För att göra det enklare för den bredaallmänheten att ta till sig forskningsinformationen så bör forskarna använda sig av ett enklare språk än i de traditionella forskningspubliceringskanalerna där språkbruket är högtravande och akademiskt. Vill man skapa kommunikation med sina läsare bör också bloggförfattaren regelbundet uppdatera bloggen med nya, färska inlägg och framförallt också bemöta eventuella kommentarer på ett sakligt och professionellt sätt. Genom att vara aktiv i diskussionen med sina läsare kan forskaren påverka den image som allmänheten har om denne. Vidare anser vi att forskarens image påverkas av allt somförmedlas genom bloggen, till exempel innehåll, språk och stil, design och bloggroll.Därför är det viktigt för avsändaren av bloggen att vara medveten om vilken bild somdennes olika val kring bloggens utformning kan förmedla utåt..

"Malmös nya miljardkomplex" : Om strategisk kommunikation och förankringsmetodik i ett mångkulturellt samhälle

In May 2010 the plans for Malmö?s new Concert Hall, Conference Centre and Hotel were announced publically. The purpose of this thesis was to present strategy for communication in order to gain approval for the new concert and conference center from the inhabitants inMalmö and to incorporate the use of it in their everyday life.Material from the receiver?s as well as the sender?s perspective has been collected from qualitative interviews. Through group interviews we have investigated the general consensus of the inhabitants of Malmö regarding the investment, placing, offered events, expectations as well as how they collected information.

Collaborative music making on the Internet is not a new phenomenon, but no applications have yet caught on with the vast number of laptop and bedroom studio musicians active today. This is strange considering the inherent social and interactive nature of music, especially amongst trends like Web 2.0 where collaboration and user-generated data is key. This thesis has enlightened how consumer behavior is when buying clothes via the Internet and the problems and difficulties that could face the companies. This study was conducted through interviews with people that have bought clothes through the Internet, traditional catalogues and real stores. The conclusions showed that the Internet is as suitable as traditional catalogues for buying clothes. Another dimension were put to the aspect of availability to a virtual mall in the design of the catalogues. Facebook : En intervjustudie om utformandet av Narcissismens kultur på nätverk

Målet med vår uppsats är att undersöka och analysera ungdomars användning av Facebook. Genom intervjuer med 10 gymnasieelever från Stockholm kommer vi granska om Facebook skapar ett narcissistiskt beteende. För att förklara detta utgår vi från teorier om narcissismens kultur, svaga bands styrka, symbolisk interaktionism och dramaturgiska perspektiv. Five destinations of rural character have been investigated in this study in order to see how these restructuring problems are expressed and addressed through tourism. Uppsatsen syfte är att undersöka mötet mellan feministisk religionsfilosofi och frågan om religiös mångfald. Utgångspunkten för uppsatsen är religionsfilosofiska texter av Pamela Sue Anderson och Grace Jantzen och dessa texter får här representera och ligga till grund för en feministisk religionsfilosofi. Som representant för det filosofiska samtalet om religiös mångfald använder jag mig av Mikael Stenmarks översikt över den typologi som präglar det filosofiska samtalet om religiös mångfald. Uppsatsens frågeställning lyder: Vad kan en feministisk religionsfilosofi som tar sin utgångspunkt i Grace Jantzens och Pamela Sue Andersons religionsfilosofiska texter bidra med till det filosofiska samtalet om religiös mångfald?Genom att läsa Andersons och Jantzens litteratur svarar jag för det första på hur en feministisk religionsfilosofi som tar sin utgångspunkt i Andersons och Jantzens texter skulle kunna se ut.

Vigselsamtalet- En studie om samtal mellan präst och brudpar

The purpose of my research is to describe the substance in three different wedding conversations, and study how the role of the priest is designed in these conversations. The foundation of my study contains authentical conversations and interviews from three priests and three couples. My main material is the authentical conversations but the content of the study, with supplementary interviews with the priest and the couple, render possible a perspective analysis of the wedding conversations from both sides. My conclusion is that the three priests expresses a different role in each conversation and the couples are powerless in the face of the priests. The dominate conversationsstrategy plays a decisive role for the matter and the character part of the priest in these conversations..
