En studie om sociala medier och perception
Earlier studies and research on the subject of perception and social media during the working process resulted in a change of the problem. At first the focus of the study was to examine how social media affects the perception of a brand although later on the problem had to be developed to instead examine if social media reflects the perception of a brand. The purpose of this study is to figure out if social media reflects consumer?s perception of a brand. This will contribute to company?s knowledge on how important social media is in their branding and will give pointers on how many resources that is necessary to spend on branding in social media.

The fitting room is an important part of a clothing store, it's often where the customer decides if they want to buy the garment or not. Therefore it is important that the customer can feel safe and comfortable when they are trying the clothing. A typical fitting room in Sweden today has only one bright spotlight that emits light either towards the face or from the ceiling above. This study explores possible lighting solutions that take into account the customer's experience in the fitting room.The study aim to increase understanding of the importance of a good light in fitting rooms, so that customers gets a nice experience and that clothes, body shape and facial features are shown in a natural way. The issue therefore included how lighting can affect the customer's perception of the clothing and how the perception of body shape, facial features and the clothes change in different lighting solutions.To answer these questions, observations were made in various clothing stores, followed by an experimental study divided into two parts.
Humorstilar, Emotionell Perception och Kön ? Vem skrattar mest och vem skrattar sist?
The main aim of this research was to investigate four humour styles, affiliative, self-enhancing, aggressive, and self-defeating humour, and compare these with emotional perception. Forty-eight persons took part in the research, 27 women and 21 men living in the southern part of Sweden. Two humour tests were used: the Humour Scale Questionnaire ? HSQ, with 32 items, and a newly composed video test, assembled after pilot testing from 26 video clips, the Humour Video Questionnaire ? HVQ. To measure perception and interpretation of emotion, the revised version of the ?Reading the Mind in the Eyes? Test was used.
Att mötas på de ungas villkor : - En kvalitativ studie om ungdomsarbetares erfarenheter av att bedriva stödsamtal med unga på internet
With this research we aimed to seek how youth workers express their experience of counselling on the internet compared to traditional counselling face to face with a theoretical ground in semiotics and symbolic interactionism. Our questions were 1) How do youth workers describe their experiences from anonymous, faceless online counselling? 2) How do youth workers experience the differences between online counselling and the traditional face-to-face counselling? 3) Which possibilities and difficulties do they see in online communication with adolescents? We used semi-structed interviews with seven youth workers. Six of those are active in non-profit organisations, and one in social services. The results from our interviews showed that the interviewees saw that misunderstandings were more frequent on the internet, but that online counselling with adolescents still was easier than in the face-to-face meetings.
Social interaktion i afasigrupp : En samtalsanalytisk studie med inriktning mot socialt fasadarbete och gester
Every year, 12,000 people in Sweden are diagnosed with aphasia. Many people with aphasia supplement their logopedic treatment by participating in an aphasia group. Aphasia groups provide both social and linguistic stimulation. The aim of the present thesis was to study the social interaction between participants, and between participants and leaders in aphasia groups.In the present study, eleven persons with aphasia and four leaders participated divided into three aphasia groups. The groups were video recorded during sessions with a total of four sessions.
Design Perception in Sweden and Turkey: A Comparison of Two Culturally Different Countries
The purpose of current paper is to identify the differences (ifany) between Swedish and Turkish consumers in terms ofproduct design perception and to identify the differences toproduct design in relating the four dimensions / characteristics:1.Aesthetical attractiveness, 2.Functionality, 3.Value and4.Quality.The findings of the study indicate the existence of a universal perception of design. Despite the culturally different countries that are examined the empirical material consistently display similarities between the two countries. Both the quantitative and qualitative data point to a very similar perception in terms of design. The possibilities of global design are discussed for companies as well as managerial implications and future research..

This in turn has lead to faster communication within business networks and also a higher degree of integration between companies.The purpose of this thesis is to describe IT can be used to develop and support networks formed around IT corporations. IT also aim at describing what impact usage of IT within personal networks has on usage of IT within business networks. The thesis is limited to IT-companies using IT artifacts, not only for communication within its organization, but also communicating with its customers and other IT-companies.
Internet som mötesplats : insättning eller uttag på det sociala kapitalkontot?
AbstraktSyftet med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka om den tid som avsätts till internetanvändande tas från sociala face to face relationer, och om frekvent internetanvändande har någon inverkan på tillgången till resurser i form av socialt kapital. För att undersöka detta har kvalitativ metod och analys tillämpats. Datainsamling har skett genom intervjuer med totalt tio respondenter. Resultatet visar att frekvent internetanvändande tar tid från sociala face to face relationer, samt att frekvent internetanvändande kan ha en effekt gällande tillgången på socialt kapital. Däremot kan inget entydigt resultat redovisas som visar om tillgången på socialt kapital ökar eller minskar till följd av frekvent internetanvändande.Nyckelord: internet, socialt kapital, sociala relationer, virtuella kontakter..

The standard model concerning the relationship between perception and motility is linear and one-way. It depicts the flow between the two as moving from sensation to perception to representation to computation, and finally, to motility and action. According to this model, animal being is basically a bundle of reflexes. But what can correctly be considered a bundle of reflexes from a natural science point of view, doesn't necessarily have to be true. This conception does not take into consideration the more complex interactions between motility and perception that constitutes, or generates, animal and human beings.

We are always surrounded by space, not just only in a room with four walls, but also when we are outdoors.Constantly we move in a flow of space that changes whenever we move. Unaware we are affectedby this threedimensional surrounding of ours, and it reacts with our perception. Many times, we chooseto translate it into something two-dimensional, for example when we take a photo, recording a movie orframing a view with a window. It helps us to catch a moment, a piece of reality and restore it in our ownway. In this project I?ve chosen to explore this process, to interpret and create my own theories about thistranslation from space to a two-dimensional surface.
Emotionell kompetens : om möjligheter till utveckling och betydelse för ett effektivt ledarskap
Purpose of the study was to illustrate how emotional competence can be important for leadership and to explore the possibility of improving emotion perception ability after training. Participants in this study were 40 managers, divided into control and experimental group, within public administration. The participants implemented a data-based emotion perception test, which were done twice at every occasion, with intervention consisting of information or education between test- and retest. The result showed a clear improvement after intervention, in which no difference was found between control and experimental group, which has been discussed on the basis of the likelihood of a training effect occurred between test-retest. Conclusions about emotional competence or leadership ability could not be drawn from the results of the emotion perception test.
Religion i skolan : En studie av gymnasieelevers uppfattning om ämnet religionskunskap A
This essay aims to investigate how students in upper secondary school perceive the subject religion A. The study is both qualitative and quantitative and I will use a survey to investigate the perception of religion among students both vocationally oriented and theory oriented. I will use questions concerning religious background and perception on the subject in relation to the curriculum but also try to investigate whether there are differences on perception between the vocational and theory orientation. The theoretical approach is mainly based on the curriculum concerning religion A but former research is also used such as books written by Sven G Hartman (2000), Ulf Sjödin (1995), Ove Larsson (1991), Elsie Davidsson (1989) and Anders Törnwall (1988). The result in the study is that students for the most part perceive the subject religion A as something positive and the background has a connection to their present perception.
Den digitala påverkan på individen : En kvalitativ studie om hur påverkan upplevs genom virtuell interaktion
Det moderna samhället och digitaliseringen bidrar till att det virtuella rummet blir en viktig del för många individer och deras vardag. Genom att ständigt ha möjlighet till uppkopplingen på diverse sociala nätverk har digitaliseringen bidragit till att face-to-face interaktioner allt oftare byts ut mot virtuella interaktioner. Genom face-to-face interaktioner påverkar individen sina val och agerande med hjälp av sin omgivning.Syftet med den här studien är att undersöka om individen blir socialt påverkad genom att följa Instagramkonton som fokuserar på träning. Studien avser att undersöka om den sociala påverkan som normalt sätt sker genom verbala gester i face-to-face interaktion således kan ske på liknande sett genom digital interaktion. Genom att studera påverkan i digital form så ska vi undersöka om någon form av attitydförändring samt motivation uppstår hos de individer som väljer att följa Instagramkonton som fokuserar på träning.Resultatet av studien indikerar att individen blir påverkad medvetet, omedvetet, positivt och negativt av att följa träningsinspirationskonton på Instagram.Resultatet visar även att individer känner ångestkänslor när de exponeras för träningsinspirationsbilder.
