Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva partnerns upplevelser att leva med en kvinna som fått bröstcancer. I litteraturstudien analyserades elva vetenskapliga studier med ett inifrånperspektiv, vilket resulterade i fyra kategorier: Att uppleva förändringar på sexualitet, intimitet och kommunikation; Att uppleva förändrad rollfördelning i hemmet; Att uppleva stöd från religion, omgivningen och att vara ett stöd för sin hustru; Att känna frustration, förtvivlan och oro inför framtiden. Resultatet visade att partnern upplevde förändringar i sin relation, framförallt i kommunikationen med sin hustru och i sexualiteten. Resultatet visade också på att partnern behöver stöd från vänner och familj. En slutats visar på att det inte bara kvinnan som behöver stöd och hjälp under sjukdomstiden utan också deras partner.

This paper deals with the late Viking age/early medieval grave field in Björned, Torsåker parish, Ångermanland County in northern Sweden. The grave field in Björned is rare because it has all the signs of being Christianized before the surroundings. This awakes questions such as if the people of Björned came from another place and brought the religion with them or if someone else did that for them. To find these answers I have analysed the stable isotope ratios [delta]13C, [delta]15N and [delta]34S in human bone collagen. Through these stable isotopes we can not only see what the people consumed but also where their food had its origin.

This qualitative studie discusses how psychologists can integrate clients' secular or religious philosophies into counseling and psychotherapy, as themes that are psychologically meaningful. The studie also discusses how psychologists can understand and respond to the psychological aspects of clients' existential and religious experiences. Eight psychologists were interviewed and their experiences were analysed using a phenomenological method.The results of the interviews suggested that the eight psychologists could handle the psychological aspects of clients' philosophies, by investigating their own personal philosophies and scientific ontologies. It was also discussed how an awareness of the psychologists' professional boundaries and personal experiences of existential and religious phenomenons, could facilitate an integration of clients' existential and religious experiences..

The main purpose with this study is to describe teachers? use of textbooks and other teaching materials in upper secondary school (gymnasiet) in Sweden, and to discuss the use according to school subject and teacher style. Data was collected in two different ways. At first twenty classroom observations were made during lectures concerning the subjects Swedish (mothertounge), English (foreign language) and religion. Then four open interviews were carried out with the teaching teachers.

Syftet med vår uppsats är att undersöka några gymnasielärares och lärarutbildares inställningar till undervisning om folkmord. Vi vill undersöka deras inställning till didaktiseringen om folkmord. Vi vill också skapa oss en bild av det material som finns till förfogande i ämnet, främst läroböcker. De intervjuade lärarnas syfte till undervisning om folkmord varierade. This paper investigates whether there is a right not to suffer from poverty. The investigation is being conducted from the theoretical standpoint/view that only civil and political rights constitute justiciable rights and rights proper from a moral stance, whereas economic and social rights constitute mere political agendas or less.In the search of an answer to this question the content of economic and social rights, and thereafter civil and political rights will be outlined, followed by an inquiry of what should really be considered as rights. Finally, the arguments against economic and social rights as real rights is presented and scrutinized.This paper will conclude that the stated difference between the above-mentioned sets of rights is illusory and that the right not to suffer from poverty ought to have the same status as civil and political rights..

The study shows what kind of women the exhibition illustrates and what kind of perspective it has. The aim is to see who creates the image of Islam and Muslims in general and in particular the image of the Muslim woman and whose Islam is given space in the article material. Our aim in this work has been to redesign ModernFamilies and make a user-friendly interface for people with aphasia. The focus has been to identify general issues they might face while using different technology and applications, in order to find better alternative design for ModernFamilies, with a focus on usability. To approach this issue, we used a qualitative method. Our study includes several interviews and observations preformed in conjunction with the AGNES project (AGeing in a NEtworked Society) and speech therapists. Aphasia requires simple design that in the same time gives them support to understand and use technology and different applications.

Monster fyller en väldigt viktig roll i dagens skräckfilm och skräckspel där en av deras största uppgifter är att vara skrämmande. Denna uppsats är en studie som fokuserar på hur man designar skrämmande monster inom spel och film. Vi har, med hjälp av teoretiska tolkningar, tagit reda på faktorer som kan påverka vad människor ser som monster samt hur man kan göra monstret skrämmande på en kognitiv nivå. Exempel på sådana här faktorer är kultur, etnicitet, religion. Även sexism och rasism har en betydelse i detta samband.

Mitt syfte är att undersöka och förstå hur man hanterar kulturell och etnisk mångfald inom den kommunala äldreomsorgen som organisation. Speciellt de problem som eventuellt kan uppstå när människor på grund av sin kultur eller sin religion har referensramar som går stick i stäv med organisationens riktlinjer. Mina frågeställningar är: Hur hanteras mångfaldsfrågor i organisationen? Vilka erfarenheter har man av konflikter som uppstått mellan organisationens riktlinjer och en personal eller arbetssökande som på grund av sin kultur eller religion haft andra referensramar samt hur har man hanterat dem när de uppstått?Metoden är kvalitativ intervjumetod. Jag har intervjuat fyra enhetschefer och två chefer högre upp i organisationshierarkin för att få reda på deras syn på mångfaldsfrågor och deras erfarenheter av krockar mellan personal/arbetssökandes referensramar och organisationens riktlinjer.

Arbetets syfte var att lyfta fram islamofobiska tendenser i massmedia och läroböcker och att genom intervjuer med elever och lärare se om och hur dessa tendenser kommer till uttryck. Undersökningarna avsåg att i tur och ordning belysa tre av de bidragande faktorerna till elevers syn på islam: massmediebilden, lärarnas undervisning och läroböckernas information. Flera metoder utformades då de olika delarna krävde detta. Intervjuer genomfördes med lärare och elever på en F-9 skola i Mellansverige med cirka 500 elever. De läroböcker som granskades är de som används på denna skola.

The purpose of the study is to observe how the participants of the study interacted musically through verbal, non-verbal and musically resonant expressions. Verbal communication was expressed in discussion of the music's tempo and to clarify for ensemble participants from where they we?re going to play and sing. Non-verbal communication could be used to gesticulate an instrument or a melody. For example, the movement of a hand could symbolize notes on a musical stave to indicate the notes placements.

Tidigare forskning pekar på att psykologiska faktorer påverkar hur individen rekryteras till en sekt. Förförståelsen inför denna intervjustudie var att det skulle kunna finnas ett behov av ett rehabiliteringscentrum i Sverige, och frågeställningen gällde vilka behov som föreligger hos en individ som lämnar en destruktiv sekt sett utifrån professionella hjälpares perspektiv. 14 personer deltog, psykiatriker, präster, politiker, terapeuter och psykologer. Resultatet visade att det finns olika anledningar till att individer rekryteras in i en sekt liksom till att de lämnar den. Resultatet visade också att det föreligger ett hjälpbehov hos individer som lämnar sekter och gemensamma svar för alla respondenter var att det behövs: (1) samtal, (2) gemenskap, (3) någon som lyssnar..
