I arbetet som lärare, vare sig det är i skolan eller på förskolan kommer vi att arbeta med barnens språk och språkutveckling. Syftet med undersökningen var att jämföra arbetet med språkutveckling i förskolan/skolan för barn mellan 1-11 år i två kulturellt olika områden, detta för att beskriva skillnader och likheter. För att ta reda på hur lärare arbetar i förskolan/skolan har vi intervjuat 8 lärare och sedan sammanställt resultatet. I litteraturen har vi gått in på ett antal teorier om barns språkutveckling och hur man som pedagog eller förälder kan arbeta för att stötta barnens språkliga utveckling. Lärarna som vi intervjuade hade liknande åsikter om hur de borde arbeta, men verkligheten stämde inte överens med deras åsikter.

The purpose of this master thesis is to evaluate how internal vehicle information inScania buses and trucks can be used for evaluation of driver performance regardingfuel economy, vehicle wear, traffic safety, emissions and cargo damage. To someextent it was examined whether this information could be used for training the driverto a better driving style. In addition, a prototype for such a system was developed.By first defining what distinguishes a talented driver and how he/she differs from apoor driver, followed by a study of the internal vehicle communication, a system thatin real-time gathers and interprets vehicle data could be developed.The resulting system can with reasonably high reliability detect a number of trafficevents (such as braking, lane changing or hilltops). At each such event, the driver?sbehaviour can be evaluated.

The goal of this work is to get as good a basis as possible to explain what the owners want for products and services when those doing business with buying groups in Korsnäs purchases regions: Gävleborg, Dalarna, Uppland and Frövi. It should also provide Korsnäs knowledge of the most important factors to consider in business with the owners. Another important aspect is to find out what you have done better at the business with owners, to eventually be able to preserve and take them into account. 300 questionnaires sent out to randomly selected owners in these regions. This is to find out what the owners did not have the products/services of Korsnäs. 29 questions were asked in the affected areas to identify what was missing and to eventually be able to satisfy them.

Tegs central skola har tidigare varit en s.k. problemskola, men har numer ett mycket bättre rykte. Vi har fått antydningar om att det finns ett stort intresse från skolan och föräldrarna till eleverna, att polisen ska komma till skolan och informera ungdomarna om t.ex. alkohol/droger och mobbing. Tyvärr har polisen i dagens läge vare sig resurser eller tid att fullt ut tillmötesgå dessa önskemål.

 Med avsikt att bidra till ökad förståelse för stressrelaterad ohälsa i utbildningsmiljöer undersöks relationerna mellan studieapproach, självskattad stress, studieresultat (estimerat och reellt) och självbedömningsförmåga, med hjälp av en enkätstudie bland 128 psykologistudenter på grundnivå. För att kartlägga studieapproach används en nyöversatt svensk version av ASSIST medan PSS nyttjas för att mäta självskattad stress. Självskattad stress visar sig korrelera positivt med ytinriktad studieapproach och negativt med strategiskt inriktad studieapproach. Studieapproach har inte någon inverkan på reellt men däremot på estimerat studieresultat. Självskattad stress samvarierar både med reellt och med estimerat studieresultat.

The purpose of this study is to highlight play and learning in the lower school ages in organized and non-organized break actives. The premise is that the break is a part of the schoolday and that the school has responsibility to live up to the goals and guidelines of the curriculum even in recess. Leisuretime-pedagogy and the professional competence the pedagogs possess about games and the social relations of children are also in focus in this study. The study is a qualitative study where the empirical material consists of observations in a schoolyard environment during one week and interviews with children. The material has then been interpreted and analyzed using Lev S.

Denna uppsats handlar om olika tillvägagångssätt att lära ut andning och artikulation på klarinett och saxofon och behandlar främst det faktum att man inte kan se vare sig luften eller tungan (när man spelar). För att kunna hjälpa eleven på bästa sätt måste pedagogen därför ha en väl genomtänkt metod och en mängd olika arbetssätt till hands. Eftersom uppsatsen i första hand handlar om hur man lär ut och inte hur man gör så skulle materialet även kunna vara av intresse för pedagoger som undervisar på andra blåsinstrument. Jag har tittat på både klarinettskolor och mer avancerad litteratur och kan konstatera att det inte finns så mycket skrivet i detta ämne. Störst fokus ligger därför på intervjuer gjorda med fyra erkänt skickliga klarinettister, som dessutom är mycket erfarna pedagoger.

Möjligheterna till att uppnå ett jämställt samhälle är beroende av våra fysiska miljöer. Utformningen av transportsystemet, användningen av rum och representationer i staden är alla en produkt av hur vi upplever samhället och hur vi väljer att återskapa det. Genom att titta på stadens uppbyggnad kan vi se de mönster och maktstrukturer som påverkar möjligheten till jämställdhet. Vi kan också försöka skapa de verktyg som behövs för att uppnå det. Denna uppsats är en analys av hur regeringens allmänna jämställdhetspolitiska mål kan sättas i relation till stadsplanering.

The basic idea behind an extra year in school was to offer students who have not read nine years in Swedish primary school an opportunity to prepare themselves to pass a high school. This first group that went an extra year in school consisted of eleven students who completed their studies and went on to high school. During the time the group expanded, the school received students from various schools in the same municipality. During the follow-up of these groups could be noted that there were many students who registered, but only few students completed their studies and went on to high school. The purpose of this study was to explore why leadership in the classroom is important for students.

AbstractDetta är en explorativ studie om processer bakom beslutsfattande. Studien innefattade 52 studenter, 20 män och 32 kvinnor. De fick genom ett frågeformulär svara på frågor kring det viktigaste beslut de fattat i verkliga livet. De flesta angav att det viktigaste beslut de fattat handlade om flytt- och resebeslut (29 %) eller studie- och karriärbeslut (44 %). Delar av frågeformulären kodades sedan utifrån kategorier från en tidigare publicerad studie kring centrala beslutsteorier och tre nya kategorier framkom; self-efficacy, self-actualization och what others will think.

This Master's Thesis describes the design of a new system where a digital signal processor has been added to an existing imaging system consisting of field programmable gate arrays. The new system will offer a higher degree of flexibility by considerably shortening the design time and make it possible to implement more complex algorithms than the existing ones. The choice of system architecture and a test implementation are discussed. The test implementation consists of a program for the digital signal processor and VHDL code for one of the field programmable gate arrays. The code for the digital signal processor was designed for testing on an evaluation board from Texas Instruments.

The honour-related violence and opression got more attention in the years 1999 and 2002, when two young women were murdered in the name of honour in Sweden. Honour-related violence is associated with a so called honour culture, which for many symbolize the oppression of a women. It is a fact that not only girls and women are victims of this culture but also many young men and boys are exposed. The aim of this study is to illustrate how individual social workers handle cases where boys and young men are exposed to violence and oppression on the basis of the theory of discretion. In this study a qualitative research strategy has been used which involves the implementation of semi-structured interviews in the collection of empirical data.

Syftet med denna kvalitativa studie var att beskriva en grupp personer med fysiska funktionshinders erfarenheter av fritidsaktiviteter tillsammans med rehab-/servicehund. För att samla in data gjordes semistrukturerade intervjuer med elva personer med fysiska funktionshinder som innehar en rehabhund. Data analyserades med innehållsanalys och resulterade i fyra kategorier: ?Nya möjligheter och ett nytt liv?, ?Hunden som assistent?, ?Hunden ett redskap för sociala relationer?, ?Hunden en trygghet som skapar aktivitet?. Det sammanfattande resultatet av denna studie visar att rehabhunden har bidragit till ett ökat fysisk, psykiskt och socialt välmående hos sina förare.

This is an empirical study based on Physical Education and health (PE) teachers' experiences and builds on, for the study, significant literature. The study is about PE teachers? consideration of gender in the assessment as well as in the selection of lesson content. Semi-structured interviews were employed as method for the data collecting process. Four teachers were interviewed, teachers of PE in elementary and upper secondary school with varied length of professional experience and ages.

Today automotive manufacturers are facing a crisis with increased pressure to strengthen their brands. To prevent declining results many automakers have chosen to extend its brand to other industries i.e. various forms of brand extensions. Automotive manufacturers have developed an international strategy for what merchandise to offer. The strategy has received an overall positive response, however, it does not apply well within the Swedish market where merchandise is sold in less quantity than abroad.
