This essay seeks to articulate how one should understand Adorno´s perspective on Kant. The essay produces an interpretation of this very complicated relationship using the (Nietzschean) concepts "affinity" and "ressentiment" : an elucidation that will hopefully make clear that the works of Adorno in many ways constitute a pursuance of Kant´s philosophical insights to their logical ends, especially with the regard to the questions about the purpose of philosophy and its various demands on knowledge, personality, society, ways of ressistence etc..

The study has shown that retailers in the mid-price segment differentiate their brand through developing a strong company identity around the brand. The point of interest in this study is to identify whether ethnicity is a correlating factor regarding Hungarian immigrants? development of identity in Sweden. The general aim is to increase knowledge and understanding of the conditions for the Hungarian ethnical group in Sweden to reach self-realization. The main question is whether the general view of the background of this ethnical group has a connection to their self-realization in Sweden? Since the study involves a whole group of minority, a limitation has been made to adults living in the city of Halmstad, Sweden.

This paper aimed to investigate how Swedish politicians use social media Twitter and Instagram and if there was evidence to discern of personal branding and identity creation. Main method used was the observation of four politicians? shared content on Twitter and Instagram. In order to strengthen the results of the study, interviews were also made on the same politicians, of which two responded. The study showed, among other results that Twitter is used more for political aspects and Instagram to show personality and lifestyle.

Individuella skillnader i empati, att kunna sätta sig in i någon annans situation och förstå vad en annan person känner, har studerats i tidigare forskning. En aspekt som visat skillnader angående personlighet men bristande belysts i samband med empati är syskonposition; om man är endabarnet, yngsta, mellan eller äldstabarnet. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka huruvida syskonpositionen har betydelse för den empatiska förmågan.  Deltagarna var nittiosex studenter och tjänstemän som läste en historia och därefter fyllde i en empatiskala om vilka känslor de kände för personen i historien. Resultatet visade att endabarn hade signifikant högre värden på empati än äldsta barn.

This essay discusses how popular literature in general and Stephanie Meyer?s Twilight-series in particular can be useful in the classroom, despite, or rather, thanks to, its inherent problems concerning gender roles, relationships and the power systems within them. The essay takes a reader and teacher centered approach in describing both the problems of Twilight and the ways these problems can be worked with in the context of the school subject Swedish in upper secondary school. It makes an inventory of Twilight?s problematic aspects, and attempts to use them in conjunction with the governing documents of the Swedish school system.

Meeting the pupils at work it is important to endeavor an adjustment of the education with the purpose of developing the individual person. To make this possible it requires, except for the intentions of teaching with an individual adjustment, the teacher to make oneself acquainted with the schools work and liability. In the 1980?s the moose population in Sweden grew explosively due to big changes in the silviculture with clear cuttings instead of single-tree selection. Clear cuttings brought big areas of young forest and therefore a lot of fodder in one place. Since this change, the discussion about how to manage the moose population has grown into a very big problem. Forest owners think that the population needs to be strongly reduced because of all the damage that is done to the young forest when the moose seeks its food, and the economic losses because of that.

Personlighetsdragen openness och extraversion respektive situationsfaktorerna variation, intensitet, samt frekvens och deras påverkan på emotionsregleringsstrategierna reappraisal samt suppression skiljer sig inom yrkesgrupperna vård respektive handel. Åtta regressions-analyser med data från sammanlagt 178 anställda visade att (1) inom vården har extraversion, openness, samt frekvens betydelse för reappraisal, och intensiteten påverkar suppression, och (2) för handel visade sig openness och situationen som helhet ha betydelse för suppression, medan inga samband kunde påvisas för reappraisal. Syftet med studien var att undersöka giltigheten i en svensk översättning av mätinstrumentet ?Intrinsic Motivation Inventory? och dess generella användbarhet i relation till lektioner i idrott och hälsa bland svenska ungdomar i åldrarna 12-15 år i årskurs 6-9. Frågeställningar som ingick var 1; skiljer sig den i engelskspråkiga versionen och den svenska översättningen åt i giltigheten att mäta inre motivation? Frågeställning 2 var; påverkar översättningen kontexten basketboll till idrottslektioner samvariationerna av olika aspekter av begreppet inre motivation? Studien har utgått från achievement goal theory (AGT) (Roberts, 2012; Roberts & Kristiansen, 2012; Treasure & Roberts, 1995; Weinberg & Gould, 2007). Deltagare som tog del av studien var 180 grundskoleelever (N=180), flickor och pojkar i årskurs 6-9 från en grundskola i södra Sverige.

The global biodiversity loss is mainly due to human activities such as an intensification of forestry. Boreal forest ecosystems in Fennoscandia are characterized by disturbances such as forest fires, storms and floods. However, industrial forestry practices suppress forest fires and change the landscape, leading to a loss of habitats and associated species.
