På ABB i Umeå programmeras styrsystem till bland annat tillverkningsindustrin och gruvbranschen. Varje styrsystem är unikt men vissa delar förekommer ofta, så för att inte programmerarna ska behöva skriva samma kod varje gång har det skapats funktionsblock av de kodbitarna. Funktionsblocken är samlade i olika funktionsblocksbibliotek. Biblioteken uppdateras med jämna mellanrum och alla funktionsblock behöver då testas så att inte ändringarna har påverkat de gamla funktionerna. Denna testning, som nu görs manuellt, tar mycket tid och är långt i från pålitlig.

Relationships between defence mechanisms and body movements were investigated in regard to three hypothesis; I. that a difference in frequency of body movements correlates to different signs of defence mechanisms, II. that themes of body movements can be identified in regard to signs of defence mechanisms, III. that no significant differences will be found between the different groups of gender. The aim of the study was to seek a relation between quasicommunicative body movements and defence mechanisms.

Det här arbetet har präglats av funderingar om hur man gör för att strukturera kreativt arbete. Frågan som detta arbete sökte besvara var, hur gör yrkesverksamma landskapsarkitekter för att finna ordning och metodik i sitt kreativa arbete?.

A LED spectrometer has been constructed for qualitative spectrometry using certain wavelenghts. The LEDs and the photodiode are being controlled with a microcontroller that is connected to a computer to power the components and save data. The spectroanalysis made with the LED spectrometer were significantly different to a standard spectrometer, concluding that more analysis should be made until a final product is ready. Some areas of improvements are suggested. .

Many traffic incidents are due to the driver?s lack of attention, resulting in dangerous lane departures, either sliding off theroad or into the oppose lane. These kinds of incidents often have serious outcomes, which has led to much effort being concentrated on preventing or lessening the damages when the incident is already a fact, for example by installing safety belts and air bags. These measures may be considered to be acts of so-called passive safety. Active safety on the other hand, means that the safety systems intervene before the incidents have occurred.

This essay focuses on different aspects of the concept of freedom of speech. The purpose is to examine the opinions and thoughts that upper secondary school students have on rights, responsibilities and limitations when it comes to freedom of speech, and to investigate theirschool experiences of the mentioned freedom. Focus groups have been used as method and two group interviews have been conducted, one at a vocational and the other at an academic upper secondary school. Overall, nine students from the third grade participated in the interviews.The essay's results show that the students believe that everyone in society should have theright to be heard, whether you have extreme or divergent opinions. The interviewed studentsexpresses that all people have great responsibility for their opinions, however that, opinionsdiffer on how to interpret the concept of responsibility.

Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att jämföra graden av smärta och illamående hos två patientgrupper inom ortopedi som smärtlindrades med tablett Dolcontin/Depolan/Morfin eller tablett Oxycontin/Oxynorm postoperativt dag 0, 1 och 2. Syftet var även att undersöka vilka riskfaktorer enligt Apfel Risk Score som kan påverka grad av illamående samt att undersöka om en korrelation fanns mellan preoperativ information och incidensen av postoperativt illamående och kräkning (PONV).Metod: En komparativ studie med kvantitativ ansats. Data samlades in genom två olika enkäter, varav en enkät fylldes i av patienterna och en enkät av sjuksköterskorna. 48 patienter inkluderades i studien, 24 per substans. Både kvinnor och män som genomgått elektiva knä- eller höftarteroplastikoperationer deltog i studien och de var mellan 31-77 år.

Healthcare staff working within emergency care must often handle extreme and emotional situations. Most of the certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) will some time during their professionally active lives confront with events that are difficult to handle and for some these events will lead to more or less serious traumatic distress and in certain cases develop post traumatic stress disorder symptoms. Many studies demonstrate that staff working in similar stress related environment runs larger risk in order to get stress related symptoms. The aim with the study was to describe the experiences around difficult work related events among CRNAs. The study was implemented as a descriptive study with qualitative run-up via a questionnaire with open questions relevant for the study's aim.

This study is a quantitative study designed to examine whether training in health issues may have contributed to the increase in head managers' psychological capital (PsyCap). Construction consists of the following components: self confidence, hope, optimism and resilience. A high PsyCap considered beneficial in organizational change and steer towards the positive development and helps individuals in stressful situations. The results show an increase of characteristics such as hope and optimism among managers (N = 15) who have undergone training in health issues compared with managers who have not undergone training. However, the tests show no significant difference in head managers' attitudes to health breaks, not the severity of granting health breaks in the groups as a result of training.

AbstractAs a developer of database-driven applications you will be faced with difficult choices, when it comes to choosing database, server and programming language. For the result to be satisfactory it requires the different techniques to interact well with each other and also fulfill performance expectations. This is even more important when the application is deployed to the cloud and the response time plays a major role.This paper evaluates different databases and their performance. To test the databases there was an application made in the server script language PHP or Hypertext Preprocessor and it was deployed to Windows Azure cloud platform. The test applications task is to call and load databases by controlled requests which creates, reads, updates and deletes data in an relatively large extent.The results shows that locale databases or databases in the same data center as the server generates the fastest response.

The purpose of this essay is to acquire variables that explain and may be used as a base for wage estimation in the private sector in Sweden. The factors that are assumed to have an impact on wage estimation are based on earlier Swedish and international studies. Business survey data, which is based upon monthly questions to firms in various sectors of the Swedish economy posed by the Swedish National Institute of Economic Research, will be analyzed to find out weather they have an impact on Swedish wage settings or not. Tests including business survey data are yet rarely frequent, why this essay will be some kind of a pioneer within the area. To estimate significant factors that influence wage setting in Sweden, three different wage equations have been modeled and tested with a regression model.

The decreasing of air density also gives rise to fatigue failure of the turbocharger unless power is reduced.The proposals shall be as required by BAE Systems Ha?gglunds economically sustainable and defensible from a packing perspective. That means the selected solution must have a reasonable price tag and at the same time a minimal impact on adjacent components.The basis for this thesis is based on benchmarking of both the auto industry as the flight industry, to find inspiration and tips for improvement.Some of the concepts have after gathering facts and calculations been excluded while other solutions has been considered as workable and thus interesting for BAE Systems Ha?gglunds.Initially the current turbochargingsystem was analyzed in order to determine the starting point and thus be able to fix the current problems surrounding high altitude driving.

Det positiva sambandet mellan stress och idrottsskador är väl dokumenterat i litteraturen. Ett ökat antal psykologiska skadeförebyggande interventioner visar att det är möjligt att förebygga idrottsskador genom kognitiv beteendeträning. Användandet av biofeedback tillsammans med kognitiv beteendeträning i skadeförebyggande syfte är dock en relativt outforskad interventionsstrategi (Johnson, 2007). Syftet med studien var att undersöka om det genom interventionsbaserad kognitiv beteendeträning i kombination med biofeedbackanvändning gick att minska antalet idrottsskador för fotbollsspelare. Deltagare ifrån fyra idrottsgymnasier (16-19 år) delades in i en experimentgrupp (n=13) och en kontrollgrupp (n=14).

In the light of some company scandals the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance, the Code, was introduced in the year of 2004 to reinforce confidence in how Swedish listed companies are managed. As many of the other European codes of corporate governance, the Swedish Code is based on the principle of ?comply or explain?. The need for corporate governance regulation arises from the inherent conflict of interest between owners and managers. This conflict is limited in companies controlled by a family in contrast to companies that lack a strong owner.
