This thesis serves to examine how manufacturing SMEs consider outsourcing. Furthermore, we aim to identify the main characteristics and patterns for these types of companies that can explain their rationale in such a decision. The chosen method for this thesis is abduction and selected research approach is multiple case studies. Seven case studies have been conducted at EAB AB, Esbe AB, Hörle Automatic AB, Pelly Industri AB, SGV Industrier AB, Swede-Wheel AB and Wulkan AB. Our findings have illustrated that although traditional outsourcing theory provides a good platform for explaining the rationale behind outsourcing decisions in SMEs, we have identified additional considerations that SMEs, operating as 2, 3 or 4-tier suppliers towards OEM-corporations, make.

This thesis is a study over changes and similarities of people's activities in Berzelii park, with focus on the second half of the 19th century and present time. As one of the oldest public parks in Stockholm, Berzelii park has been a place for outdoor activity for more than a hundred years. During that time both the park and the society have undergone changes, but people are still using this green area in the city centre in a similar way as generations before have done. It is still a place for social gathering and during the summer month the park invite for optional and social activities such as a pause in the sun and pic-nic with friends. Some customs has disappeared like the 19th century social stroll, but through small changes in rules or design others have become given, like using the lawns as seating..

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med detta examensarbete var att undersöka lärares uppfattningar om i vilka avseende och utsträckning elever med svårigheter får hjälp i skolan. Det här arbetet fokuserar på lärarnas egna reflektioner och tankar om åtgärder som görs och bör göras för elever med svårigheter för de ska kunna nå målen i ämnet idrott och hälsa i skolan. Utifrån detta syfte konstruerades fyra frågeställningar.Vad gör skolan för att alla elever ska kunna nå målen för ämnet idrott och hälsa?Vilka åtgärder görs i skolan för de elever som inte når målen i ämnet idrott och hälsa?Hur anpassar man undervisningen till varje elevs förutsättningar och behov?Får elever med svårigheter den hjälp och undervisning som de har rätt till?MetodJag använde mig av en kvalitativ undersökningsmetod och genomförde intervjuer. Denna rapport är en C-uppsats där en fallstudie har gjorts för företaget Konga Bruk AB. Där en kartläggning har gjorts av utnyttjandegraden och tillgängligheten för tre svetsrobotceller i fabriken. Kartläggningen visade att vissa störningar uppkommer frekvent, den största orsaken visade sig vara att personalen lägger stor del av tiden på att hantera ingående och färdigt material till och från robotcellen, samt att de bytena utav fixturer i roboten också upptar en viss tid. Triage, which means "to sort", determine the priority of the patients need of care. The aim of the present study was to describe nurses? perception of triage at a pediatric emergency department. A questionnaire with open- and closed-ended questions were distributed to all 25 nurses that worked at a pediatric emergency department. The answer frequency was 48 % (n=12).

Det här är en undersökning om hur man undervisar och planerar undervisningen för elever med läs- och skrivsvårigheter/dyslexi på två skolor på en mindre ort i Skåne. Genom nio kvalitativa intervjuer kom vi fram till att elever gärna går till specialläraren för att få enskild undervisning. Skolorna försöker utefter de resurser de fogar över göra sitt bästa för att tillgodo se elevernas behov av extra hjälp. Arbetslagen ute på skolorna samarbetar och använder sina olika erfarenheter för att på bästa sätt undervisa de elever som har läs- och skrivsvårigheter/dyslexi..

Our aim was to explore employees' experiences of exposure to violence, threats of violence as well as their experiences of encountering victims of violence and to relate their experiences to Sense of coherence (SOC) and Maslach's burnout inventory (MBI).We sent out a questionnaire to employees at three different workplaces. Our questionnaire included previously validated SOC and MBI questionnaires as well as six additional questions regarding violence. We sought to explore the relationships between experience of exposure to violence and encounters of victims of violence and SOC and MBI. We found that employees with a higher level of SOC exposed to violence or threats felt a higher level of security. In encountering victims of violence we found that employees with a lower level of SOC more frequently experienced indifference, fear and anger.

This study has investigated the possibilities of implementing lean in a division of a hospital in Stockholm. The goal was to reduce the lead time for the patient to get his diagnose by implementing lean in the two production flows of this division. In order to accomplish it, a complete map over the value stream has been done. With the help of the value stream map and lean theory a list over the processes in contradiction with lean has been made. Finally propositions to implement lean and by this way reduce the lead times in this stream have been made out.

How does the computer influence teenagers' lives. I interviewed five young people, and gave a questionnaire to another 47, about this.What I found was that they were aware of and handled well the risks with the Internet and the computer, but had problems with the computer taking too much of their time. They wanted more time for their families and outdoor activities. It was mainly the Internet that seemed to have an influence on the teenagers, not the computer as a machine. They told me that there was a rough climate on the Internet, partly because of the possibility of being anonymous.
