Föreliggande uppsats är en fenomenologisk studie som syftar till att undersöka hur ett urval elever och föräldrar upplevt att beslutet kring ett extra år i skolan gått till, om de upplevt sig delaktiga, samt hur de anser att de extra året påverkat eleven ämnesmässigt, kamratmässigt och känslomässigt. Studien är genomförd via kvalitativa ostrukturerade intervjuer där totalt fyra elevers och två föräldrars livsberättelser fått ta form. Dessa livsberättelser har sedan analyserats narrativt med avsikt att finna svar på studiens frågeställningar samt även utifrån avsikt att finna underliggande framträdande teman. Studiens resultat visar att ett extra år i skolan kan vara lyckosamt om elever och föräldrar upplever sig delaktiga i beslutet, om eleven endast har svårt med ett eller ett fåtal ämnen i skolan samt om hela elevens sociala situation beaktas, inklusive kamratrelationer. Om eleven inte upplever sig varit delaktig i beslutet och om eleven dessutom har flera svårigheter i skolan tyder studien på att ett extra år i skolan kan vara negativt, och att det extra året då kan leda till en negativ påverkan på självkänslan och kamratrelationer, något som i sin tur kan leda till att eleven projicerar sin ilska och besvikelse på skola och lärare..

In the dairy production it is necessary to be able to sort cows. Dairy cows are sorted for many different reasons i.e. regrouping into production strings or for treatments i.e. inseminations, pregnancy and health checks, vaccinations or hoof trimmings. One labour saving way of conducting sorting is by using an automatic sort gate.

The construction process which is used today while constructing residential buildings has for along time remained unchanged. Unfortunately the development process has gone away frombecoming industrialized and instead most of the work is done at the construction site. In thisrespect this is a worse alternative because the project outcome will be more expensive and theconstruction time will be longer. Skanska?s vision is to have a process which is more like the oneused in small residential buildings which is fully industrialized.The constructing process for residential building involves more parties and therefore it becomesmore complicated.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how some teachers work with above-average pupils in mathematics. I have issued three questions based on the purpose of this study:How do teachers define an above-average pupil?In what way the teachers stimulate and challenge the above-average pupils?Has the school done something special for the above-average pupils?The method used to conduct this study was a semi-structured qualitative interview with four teachers in primary school. The method consists of interviews and observations.The study shows that the teachers make an effort to give these pupils extra attention and challenging tasks. A major focus is put on problems solving and to develop the pupil's ability to be able to explain how they think and if necessary, they should be able to explain even to their fellow- pupils.

Swedish horse breeders have generally very few mares producing a few foals a year and the breeders have relatively few traditions, little knowledge and experience to breed foals successfully. It is therefore important to provide adequate information about new findings in horse nutrition. However, there is not much research about feeding the suckling foal to ensure a sound growth. Current feeding recommendations in the literature seems to be different. This gives a confusing message and the information is difficult to apply. This paper reviews some publications in the area of feeding the suckling and weaning foal. Most authors stress that it?s important to start feeding the foal early in life.

Prosody is the melody and rhythm of speech and language. Prosodic ability is of great importance for communication, and has been shown to be affected in adults with acquired brain injury. Studies have shown that Swedish children with specific language impairment have prosodic  difficulties to a greater extent than e.g. English speaking peers. It is thereby possible that prosodic ability is more vulnerable also in Swedish speaking adults with acquired brain injury.The aim of the present study was to assess prosodic ability in adults with acquired brain injury, and to evaluate the prosodic assessment procedure that was used.

The purpose of this report is to survey Swedex AB?s production costs and to gather all info into a manageable calculation tool. This was made by time and motion studies, interviews of the personnel. All factors were gathered into an Excel chart.The calculation was made according to an additional-charge-method that was considered to satisfy Swedex AB?s goal.

Heart failure is a condition where the heart is incapable of providing adequate blood supply to different organs in the body. The underlying causes of heart failure is some kind of disorder in the heart function, and require careful diagnostics. The basic symptoms that arise from heart failure is difficulty in breathing, that aggravate when lying down, and fatigue. The patients? symptoms and impaired quality of life can be in different stages depending on the severity of the heart failure.

Mothers of small children often work part-time in Sweden. Since old age pensions are based on lifetime income, part-time work leads to lower pensions, as long as there is no compensation from non-actuarial benefits such as minimum pensions. In this paper, I investigate whether different components of the Swedish pension system provide incentives for part-time work among women. The analysis is performed through a simulation of future pensions for 9 typical women in a certain cohort. For three levels of education, I compare pensions of women with different labor market participation rates in different growth scenarios.

Syftet är att undersöka om det extra året bidrar till den kunskapsökning hos eleverna som lärare antar ska ske. Vidare frågeställningar är hur året organiserats för eleverna och om året medfört andra positiva och/eller negativakonsekvenser. Jag har använt mig av en kvalitativ intervjumetod, för att få ta del av lärarnas erfarenheter och upplevelser.Eftersom forskning inom ämnet i Sverige är mycket begränsad har jag till största delen utgått från internationell forskning.Mitt resultat visar att lärarna ansåg att det extra året varit mycket betydelsefullt för eleverna, både kunskapsmässigt och emotionellt. Även om det extra året inte innebar att alla kunskapsmål uppnåddes för årskursen, så var det enligt lärarna ett steg i rätt r iktning för eleverna.

This study hopes to provide a deeper understanding for the situation that pupils in dyslexia and special education teachers are experiencing. The aim is to examine how students with dyslexia and special education teacher / special needs education teacher are experiencing difficulties, resources, additional adjustments and support. The aim is also to examine the experience in opportunities for improvement and what similarities and differences exist between students and special education teacher / special needs education teacher regarding the allocation of resources. The study is made with focusing on a certain dilemma perspective, using methods such as interviews. The results of the study point to lack of time, time pressure, teachers 'skills, management directives and students' understanding of their own learning as factors affecting resource allocation, in which all factors influence each other and are interdependent of each other..

An airline company that operates with its fleet needs to ensure that maintenance of a following and certain standard will be implemented. In this project we have sorted and divided the various working procedures of Malmö Aviation into Work Packs. These procedures are mandatory and must therefore be implemented in order to keep the aircraft airworthy at any time. Our task was to optimize and sort these working procedures by zone, panels, access and down time. We have created a maintenance program which Malmö Aviation can use and we have sorted their working procedures in B and C- Checks.Maintenance procedures that did not fit into our Work Packs have been gathered and sent back to Malmö Aviation for further inspection.This project has required a lot of extra reading in manuals and we have had a great insight into the complexity of a technical organization such as Malmö Aviation..

It has now passed two years since the new site- and construction law, PBL, went into force. It replaced the previous PBL applicable since 1987, and it involves relatively large changes in many different areas of the construction sector. The ambitions of the new law are for instance to simplify and clarify the legal text, increase efficiency in the permitting processes and improve the quality of construction. To achieve this, a variety of changes was made. Some of the most important are: inserted deadline in the processing of building applications, extended assessment of building applications, revised rules about controlplan and quality manager, a certificate is required to start and end the project, an additional meeting is inserted and the construction management of the municipalities will have to do a mandatory visit at the work scene.
