Cancerbeskedet har förödande effekt för den närstående likväl som för patienten. Det uppstår oftast negativa känslor som hjälplöshet, maktlöshet, ångest, oro, ilska och förlust av kontroll hos närstående. Syftet var att belysa närståendes upplevelser av att leva med patienter med hjärntumör. Metod är en litteraturstudie som baserar sig på tio vetenskapliga artiklar. Resultatvisar att närstående till hjärntumör patienter befinner sig i en mycket utsatt situation där de ofta saknar tillräckligt med stöd kanske framförallt från hälso- och sjukvården men även från familj och vänner.

Shopping is one of the most important social activities today and the majority of all shopping takes place in Shopping Centres. The number of Shopping Centres has increased and it is important to attract visitors by using the right marketing strategy. Christmas is an extra important period because the turnover normally increases three times in December compared to a ?normal? month. The purpose of this study is to analyze the marketing of Shopping Centres during the Christmas period, and analyze how this marketing contributes to the visitors? choice of Shopping Centre. This is a positivistic study that combines a quantitative and a qualitative method.This study concludes that range of stores and distance are the most important factors when a visitor decides which Shopping Centre to visit. During Christmas it is important to create a Christmas feeling, preferably made by offering decorations and music.

Autism är troligen något som har funnits i alla kulturer. Gemensamt för alla inom autismspektrumet (AST) är svårigheter med kommunikation, socialt samspel och föreställningsförmåga. Orsaken bakom svårigheterna är ännu inte helt klarlagda. Länge har det varit känt att många inom AST kan ha en annorlunda perception. Personer med AST återfinns i alla vårdkontexter och vårdpersonal finns i allmänhet en liten kunskap om hur sjuksköterskan kan bemöta dessa personer som kräver extra hänsyn.

Rekrytering är en viktig del för organisationers kompetensförsörjning. För att rekrytera medarbetare med den specifika kompetens som en organisation är i behov av bör en kompetensbaserad personalstrategi utformas. Den kompetensbaserade personalstrategin verkar för att underlätta rekryteringsprocessen och fungera som ett stöttande underlag. Syftet med denna rapport har varit att undersöka och kritiskt granska den befintliga rekryteringsstrategin och chefsstödet på en organisation i Stockholm. Samtliga chefer som har deltagit i undersökningen har personalansvar och rekrytering ingår i deras arbetsuppgifter.

Bakgrund: Tidigare studier har visat på betydelsen av kommunikation, både verbal och icke-verbal, i mötet med den lidande patienten. En mellanmänsklig relation bygger på ett möte mellan människor som inte är fast i sina roller, som sjuksköterska och patient. Det är bara genom mötet sjuksköterskan kan få tillgång till patientens egentliga lidande, detta är nödvändigt för att kunna vårda, ge tröst och stöd. Syfte: Beskriva vilket stöd den lidande människan/patienten på sjukhus önskar av sjuksköterskan. Metod: Metoden som använts är en litteraturstudie med kvalitativ ansats, innehållsanalysen har gjorts med hjälp av Graneheim och Lundman (2004). Resultat: I resultatet framkom sju olika kategorier, ge det lilla extra, vara medmänniska, se mina behov när jag inte orkar, ge information som jag förstår, vara rädd om mitt förtroende, våga dela mitt lidande och lätta upp med humor..

Title: Music-esthetical productions in the educational work - a case study of the Allvar Gullstrand highschool.Problem: A problem associated with working with project- and thematic studies which result in esthetical productions is that it often demands extra effort and time beyond the schedule to carry the production through. There are no instructions saying that schools are to work with this kind of arrangements, but nevertheless it occurs in most schools, however in a different extent, quality and form. Purpose: The purpose of my study is to elucidate possibilities and limitations in different methods of work and structures, and also examine what motives the teachers and the school management have for working with a music-esthetical production as a goal. Method: I have done a qualitative case study of a Swedish upper secondary school where I interviewed four teachers and one principal, to get a view of reality and examine how teachers with different background look at, and in reality behave in, the work with music-esthetical productions in the education. Conclusions: What I have concluded in this case study is the importance of having a clear goal and that the project works are considered to create meaning and personal growth.

Uppsatsen beskriver arbetet och undersökning för hur deduplicering i filsystemet ZFS påverkar effektförbrukningen. En större mängd redundant data förekommer i centraliserade lagringssystem som förser virtualiserade servrar med lagringsutrymme. Deduplicering kan för den typen av lagringsmiljö eliminera redundant data och ger en stor besparing av lagringsutrymme. Frågan som undersökningen avsåg att besvara var hur ett lagringssystem påverkas av det extra arbete som det innebär att deduplicera data i realtid.Metoden för att undersöka problemet var att utföra fem experiment med olika typer av scenarion. Varje scenario innebar att filer kopierades till ett lagringssystem med eller utan deduplicering för att senare kunna analysera skillnaden.

För att företag ska kunna utveckla marknadsföringsverktyg som attraherar kunder i en specifik målgrupp och tillfredsställa dessas behov krävs det att företaget har kunskaper om potentiella kunders köpbeteende. Köpbeteendet beskriver hur kunder fattar beslut och vilka faktorer som påverkar beslutsfattandet. The agricultural sector is currently highly dependent on fossil fuels, with diesel beingmost prominent. There are however both historical and modern alternatives thathave not been subject to enough evaluation to disregard them as suitable alternative.This report aims to theoretically investigate the feasibility of converting aconventional diesel driven tractor to run on electricity, delivered via a cableconnected to either the main power grid or on-site electric production, such asphotovoltaic. Delivering electricity to the machine via a cable is a method withhistorical roots in the early 20th century and in the present day mining industry.The economic and technological potential of the technique are evaluated, along withthe examination of several different motor powers, voltages, losses and constructionideas. The report finds the technique to be both possible as well as long termeconomically and environmentally beneficial. To realise this method however, somedeviations from the present methods of agricultural farming must be made,considering the more advanced driving patterns, the limited mobility and therequirement for extra driver awareness.

The overall aim of this study is to clarify the situation in school for children with language disorder from the parents? perspective.Data were collected through five interviews with parents who have children of different ages and with various diagnosis within the language disorder spectra. A qualitative method based on a narrative inquiry was used and each interview was based on a interview guide with the following themes: the child?s difficulties, starting school, the school?s pedagogy, homework, action plans, participation and the future.Each story has its own themes, but there are also themes that are common in all interviews. One common theme in the parents? stories is that school has a lack of knowledge when it comes to language disorder.

This masters thesis aims to investigate how upper secondary school pupils experience their information seeking in a school context without access to a school library. It is the pupils own thoughts and opinions about information seeking and criticism of the sources that is the main focus. The literature that has been used consists of material from research concerning youth and different aspects of information seeking such as the information seeking process, information seeking on the web, criticism of the sources and how pupils interact with other people in order to acquire information. The method that has been used is group interviews. Twelve pupils from an independent school without access to a school library have been interviewed in groups of three.

The aim of this essay has been to find out whether the individual development plan does make it easier to teachers to discover any needs of the students to get education or material changes and by that make adjustments in the classroom. I chose to seek information by interviewing special educators at four compulsory schools, since they have an overall apprehension of how the work is carried out at the school, especially the work with students in need of any form of extra support.All students at the Swedish compulsory school shall have an individual development plan. The purpose with the plan is, besides that the student is to be given possibilities to form his own pedagogical and social goals, that the teacher shall get early signals if a student may be in need of getting education and materials changed and adjusted for to easier manage his studies. The individual development plan of the student should have the function as a tool to the teacher to facilitate for his students.The answer of my question can be sum-up in a no, the inherent potential in the individual development plan is not utilized by the teachers that seem to have the apprehension that the plan is for the student all by him/herself. The teaching staff has obviously not understood the use they can get out of it. .

There are various investments to suit different investors, what affects the investor is the risk he/she takes with the investment and also the awareness  the investor has. According to different theories a higher risk gives even a higher yield to compensate for the extra risk the investor takes.In this paper, we discuss and compare two different forms of savings, Swedish closed-end funds and Swedish mutual funds to examine what alternative that generates highest returns in relation to the risk.To help, we use different evaluation measures that adjusts the different investments risk so that you can compare how well the investments have performed regardless of the risk they have. This will give us an answer about what investment form that have performed the best between 2002.01.01-20010.12.31. Five Sweden mutual funds and five closed-end funds have been selected to participate in the survey.To evaluate this, it is primarily quantitative data, analyzed in the evaluation measures. The results obtained in the survey show that Swedish closed-end funds have performed far better during the selected time period.

Our essay starts with two self-experienced stories where we describe how we as pedagogues act when children do not behave as we wish. We examine the different perspectives that can influence us pedagogues to act as we do. Our narrative about Kevin, seven years old, shows how he is excluded from his school mates as they perceive him as disruptive. Also the narrative about Pelle six years old is about his dislike of an activity he is forced to attendag ainst his will.The study is based on a hermeneutical method where, through the interpretation of different perspectives, we discuss several aspects that affect us in our actions. The perspectives we have chosen to highlight are treatment of children, organization, power structures, communication and reflection.Our narratives differ from each other in the way that the recreation instructor Ulrika has no mandate over her situation on this particular day she helps as an extra support in a class atschool.

Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva nutritionens betydelse för utveckling och behandling av trycksår. Studien genomfördes som en beskrivande litteraturstudie. Metoden som användes var att genom sökningar i databaserna PubMed och Science Direct finna vetenskapliga artiklar. Till studien användes 16 artiklar. Resultatet visar att det är av stor vikt att tillsätta extra näring redan när det finns en risk för att trycksår kan utvecklas.
