Examensarbetet tar upp frågan om hur mellanstaden, stadens moderna delar som vuxit fram under 1900-talet, ska utvecklas. Mellanstaden består av isolerade öar av funktioner med kraftiga trafikleder som löper kors och tvärs och försörjer öarna med trafik. I mellanstaden kan två grupper med olika behov urskiljas. Personer med lokala intressen är de som dagligen vistas i mellanstaden t.ex boende. De har behov av en bra bostadsmiljö med god tillgänglighet till viktiga målpunkter med gena och trygga vägar.

The purpose of this thesis is to test whether firms have target capital structure, and if so with what speed they adjust toward this target. Findings that support this purpose are also in line with the trade off theory. One of the key elements of this thesis is the method used, which successfully enables fulfilling the purpose. The panel data method captures the data characteristics of the cross sectional and time series dimension. By using this approach the dynamic effects of capital structure can be studied, thus if there actually is an adjustment towards a target the speed can be estimated.

The aim of this study was to understand how evaluations are implemented and used in procured nursing homes for elderly. Our methodological approach consisted of a single-case study research. The case in this study was Växjö municipality. Three procured nursing homes for elderly were chosen in the municipality as examples of implementation and use of evaluation. The method for retrieving empirical data and the analyzing of it was based on triangulation.

In todays society IT in general and the Internet in particular are given elements in people´s everyday lives, and smartphones has come to be a big part of those elements. This study focuses on how the use of Smartphones in particular influences the individuals in their working environment, and how this use influence the efficiency and the well-being of said individuals.  To answer our research question regarding how said use comes to effect the efficiency and the well-being for proffesionals in their working environment we have used data from qualitative interviews who is enriched by a short initial diary study. This data has then been analyzed using the Affinity Diagrams Technique, leading to four central themes emerging from the data. The results show that smartphone use at work comes with both positive and negative effects; efficiency increased through the use of smartphones due to the great versatility that comes with the technology, while in terms of well-being issues of stress emerged.

Vi har byggt ett digitalt musikinstrument, en synthesizer med samplebaserad trummaskin. Synthesizern och trummaskinen är mjukvarubaserad medan gränssnittet är hårdvarubaserat. Operativsystemet som används är Linux och synthesizermjukvaran är utvecklad i ljudprogrammeringsspråket Pure Data. This thesis examines different methods for the cooling of data centers. Several means of cooling with the refrigeration cycle have been studied, as well as the feasibility of using free cooling in different parts of Sweden. In addition, the possibilities of transferring excess heat to a nearby district heating system were investigated. It was found that in all investigated cases except two, the data center could be cooled solely with free cooling for at least 300 days a year when only the outside air temperature was considered as a constraining factor. The limit was then set to 20 °C.The vast majority of all district heating systems in Sweden get little to none of their heat from other excess heat sources.

The soil is a sandy soil in southwesternSweden, grown with spring cereals. This study is meant to be a benchmark example,and cannot be seen as a regional or national assessment for Sweden, rather as an approachto present and analyze the most important parts of these kinds of assessments.A dynamical simulation model (COUP, Jansson and Karlberg, 2004) was used for thisstudy. The model was parameterized and calibrated against data from an experimental site,located in Mellby in Hallands county, south western Sweden. Measurements were carriedout between 1st of April 1988 and 1st of April 1991.

En studie av föreställningar om det gudomliga inom ekofeministisk teologi. Uppsatsen behandlar teologerna Rosemary Radford Ruether, Carol Christ och Sallie McFague. Frågeställningen besvaras med hjälp av en innehållslig idéanalys bestående av två analysfrågor med en rad följdfrågor. Den första analysfrågan söker hur det gudomliga förstås hos de olika teologerna, följdfrågorna behandlar begreppen immanens-transcendens, teism-panteism-panenteism samt könsroller. Den andra analysfrågan söker vilken relation mellan det gudomliga och skapelsen som beskrivs, följdfrågorna söker om relationen är intern eller extern, om det är en personlig eller opersonlig gudomlighet samt om människan har något särskilt ansvar inför det gudomliga. .

Data och tvspelsbranschen är mansdominerad och har fått en hel del uppmärksamhet i media på senare tid. Dels för bristen av kvinnor som arbetar inom den och dels för kvinnosynen som uttrycker sig i spelen. Vi kommer använda ordet spelbranschen som synonym till data och tvspelsbranschen i resten av uppsatsen. Tidigare forskning har visat att utformningen av jobbannonser kan vara en bidragande faktor till att kvinnor inte söker sig till vissa arbeten. I denna studie har vi undersökt om jobbannonserna i spelbranschen i Sverige är maskulint könskodade och hur detta i sådana fall formulerats.

Thesis purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to determine how a technolo-gically enhanced shopping tool, synergizing eCRM tech-niques with personalized promotion at the point-of-sale, can increase customer loyalty by considering perceptions of current grocery retailer loyalty programs in Sweden. Methodology: An exploratory research was undertaken in the light of a qualitative method collecting primary data through focus group interviews. Theoretical perspective: The major considerations regarding theoretical aspects, for this thesis, can be addressed by Behavioral/Attitudinal loyalty and Relevance of Promotion. Empirical data: The empirical data, in regards to primary data, was ga-thered based on four focus group interviews. Conclusion: The conclusions of the thesis imply, that in order to make a loyalty program successful, it needs to firstly be conven-ient for the customer; easy to join, and provide an easy and time efficient display at the point-of-sale.

Hur kan testprotokoll användas för att mäta datorspels underhållningsvärde på ett metodiskt sätt? Studien bygger på metodisk testning av datorspel med hjälp av användandet av testprotokoll, och inleds med att presentera vad testning är samt hur den används inom både generell mjukvaruutveckling och datorspelsutveckling. I studien framställs två testprotokoll baserade på testmetoderna "fokusgrupper" samt "speltestmetoden". Dessa testprotokoll används i test ledda av en extern högskolestudent inom datorspelsutveckling. Studien ger praktiskt användbara exempel på testningsprotokoll och resulterar i en diskussion som visar på vikten av strukturerad testning.I diskussionen pekas på vikten av att utföra mätningar konsekutivt för att få fram testernas fördelar.
