The purpose of the essay is to investigate how the position of women and girls in society can lead to a valid infringement of the right to privacy (art. 8 ECHR) by allowing the storage of personal data belonging to people who have not been convicted of a crime. The essay uses the traditional legal method to determine the applicable law, but is also grounded in a feminist approach in order to enable an interaction between jurisprudence and societal phenomena. The essay revolves around Directive 2016/680 and relevant case law in order to analyze the set requirements to enable an infringement of the right to privacy. In order to be able to analyze whether the requirements can be met based on the need to prevent men?s violence against women and girls, the essay will also describe the life situations of women and girls in society. The essay argues that the conditions at hand fall under art.

It is key that the video and audio signals remain synchronized, generator locked and time stamped. It is up to nine different video sources and a number of audio sources to be recorded and treated in such a manner which enables synchronized playback. The  different video sources do not always follow a universal standard, and differ from format as well as resolution. This thesis aims to compare a number of state of the art commercial of the shelf solutions with proprietary hardware.

Combustion of fossil fuels is today the dominating source of energy. During combustion,carbon dioxide is formed. The carbon dioxide accumulates in the atmosphere,which raises the global average temperature on earth through the so called greenhouseeffect. The only way to reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide from combustionin a coal fired power plant is through carbon capture and storage (CCS).Post-combustion capture is a technology to separate carbon dioxide from the uegas after the combustion for efficient transport and storage. The steady state operationof coal fired power plants with post combustion capture has already beenthoroughly investigated on a pilot scale, however much work remains to investigatethe plants dynamic operation.

Examensarbetet gick ut på att skapa en förvaringsprodukt till kök som bidrar till ett mer strukturerat arbetssätt och bättre ordning i kök. Produkten skulle även bidra till glädje för användaren och medverka till lättillgänglig förvaring. Genom att intervjua och observera hur personer använder sina kök framkom grundläggande information som var användbar för projektet. Även litteraturstudie och intervjuer med personer inom branschen gjordes. Efter en grundlig förstudie påbörjades en designprocess som resulterade i en förvaringsprodukt till kök. Slutresultatet blev ES-förvaring, en produkt som underlättar arbetet i köket då den erbjuder tillänglig förvaring som kan användas och anpassas efter användarens personliga behov.

This aim of this thesis is to measure the effect of the user interface in real searches on the Internet through a small experiment. Theories on web and search usability and psychological factors concerning usability were first explored. Then three interfaces were constructed, one "good" that followed usability guidelines and had multiple search functions, one "bad" that completely disobeyed those guidelines and had only a simple and small search field, and one "intermediate" interface that was a mix of the two. The search field was set to different sizes, with the shortest in the "bad" interface, a medium field in the "intermediate" interface and several long fields in the "good" interface. All three interfaces were then attached to the same web search engine, Altavista.

MobisleApps vill erbjuda ytterligare möjligheter för användarna att skriva anteckningarna och har bestämt sig för göra detta med hjälp av en webbläsare och ett gränssnitt mot den externa servern.Detta examensarbete syftar till att ta fram ett sådant webbgränssnitt och att undersöka om detgår att använda något ur de nya standarderna för Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) och Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).Genom att utveckla ett webbgränssnitt som ger användaren möjlighet att logga in, skapa, ändra och ta bort anteckningar som synkroniseras till telefonen via en extern server har jag uppfyllt de krav som ställdes.Slutsatsen av rapporten är att det är möjligt att använda en del nya HTML5 och CSS3 funktionalitet och egenskaper. Detta om det görs för att förstärka webbgränssnittets funktionalitet och utseende medan man inte förlitar sig på att alla användare kommer att ha en uppdaterad webbläsare. Annars är risken stor att man stänger ute användare som inte kan ellervet hur man uppdaterar sin webbläsare..

 AbstractMedia has since a long time back been writing about extensive thievery of recreational boats and their engines. The value of the stolen goods is estimated to several hundreds of million Swedish crowns per year. The widespread stealing creates a secondary market where boats sometimes are sold by sellers that do not have the rights to sell the boat. This creates risk for the buyer who most often is a private person. A situation the buyer can face is that the boat was stolen and that the original owner can demand to get the boat or engine back.

Examensarbetet är utfört på Volvo Aero Corporation i Trollhättan, på divisionen Engine Services avdelning Affär, Teknik och Kundstöd. Enginge Services är ett av världens största underhålls- och servicecenter för flygmotorer och gasturbiner. De underhåll som utförs innefattar olika nivåer av service, allt från lättare detaljreparationer till kompletta motoröversyner. När offerter ska tas fram i samband med nya underhållskontrakt saknas idag ett verktyg för att analysera data från tidigare utförda arbeten och det upplevs som ett problem. Syftet med examensarbetet är att bygga en databas som ska användas i offertarbetet samt att studera vilken nytta databasen kan medföra.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine the retrieval performance of two search engines, Yahoo! News and Sesam, specialized on indexing news articles in Swedish. Thirty search questions were used in this study, divided into three different categories: domestic news, amusement and sport. Precision has been calculated both for the 30 search questions as a total and for the three categories as well. Precision was calculated at every DCV-level and then divided with the number of search questions used, in an attempt to reach an average measure.

New energy resources that can replace petroleum diesel are needed and biodiesel may be an excellent substitute. During storage and use, biodiesel can oxidize and form peroxides, leading to degradation of the fuel. It is therefore important to determine the peroxide content of the fuel. In this thesis the triphenylphosphine method, which involves GC-MS analysis has been compared to the standard iodometric method which involves titration with sodium thiosulfate. Working standards were made to see how well the iodometric method worked and also in order to make a calibration curve in GC-MS.

Denna rapport behandlar utvecklingen av den spelmotor samt spellogik som används i speletSteam Tale utvecklat under projektnamnet Project Steam Age av gruppen StormBound. Speletutvecklades i första hand för mobila enheter, och i rapporten ingår även en kort undersökningav mobila spel i ett historiskt perspektiv. Även spelets genre, JRPG, en förkortning avJapanese Role Playing Game, kommer att förklaras som hastigast med referenser till andraspel inom genren.Spelet programmerades för Android OS version 2.3 och framåt i språket Java. En avsvårigheterna som påträffades, såsom beskrivs i rapporten, var att säkerställa att speletfungerar för den varierande prestanda som mobila enheter utgör, inklusive aspekter såsommed eller utan hårdvaruacceleration av grafik, varierande mängd lagringsutrymme ochprocessorkärnor samt storlek på skärmar. Därtill bör man vid skapandet av en applikation avdenna typ beakta resurshantering, framförallt beträffande grafik och ljud, ett ämne sombehandlas i denna rapport..

Syftet med undersökningen var att försöka definiera vad sjömanseleverna i årskurs 2 och 3 på gymnasiet hade för framtidsplaner när det gällde fortsatt arbete till sjöss som matros, motorman. Dessutom undersöktes hur många som planerade att läsa vidare till sjökapten eller sjöingenjör, samt hur stort intresset av att söka arbete utomlands var bland eleverna. Undersökningen byggde på en kvantitativ metod där resultatet baserades på enkätsvar från fyra olika skolor och totalt 114 svarande elever. Intresset för att fortsätta arbeta som matros var något större än att arbeta som motorman. Majoriteten av de tillfrågade eleverna planerade vidare studier medan endast ett fåtal av de tillfrågade planerade att enbart fortsätta arbeta som matros och motorman.

Petro-electric IFVs (Infantry fighting vehicles) or hybrid-IFV?s are not a new phenomenon. During the 1900?s Germany as well as the U.S both tested vehicles constructed with hybrid technology. In spite of several identified advantages, no serving hybrid-IFV exists today.

AbstractThe purpose of this bachelor thesis is to describe the use of artificial insemination (AI) in sheep and discuss the possibilities for AI in Sweden. Male and female fertility, heat detection, semen handling and insemination techniques in sheep are described. Advantages and disadvantages of AI are discussed. In order to achieve genetic progress it is important with well planned and implemented breeding programs. The Swedish Sheep Recording Scheme and computer software from Elitlamm are the basis for sheep breeding in Sweden.
