The swedish law of contract is fundamental within several civil law areas, among others labour law. The labour law contains more explicit legislation specificly adapted to the relation between employers and employees. Sometimes the labour law needs to rely on more general regulations, such as the law of contract. When the situation contains a specific contract relation dilemma it is logical to use the law of contract, when for example the law of employee protection does not reach an acceptabel solution.Transfer of undertaking is a situation were the employee protection is disregarded. The Euro directive 2001/23/EG prescribes, by its implemented rules in the law of employee protection, that rights and duties, such as employement agreements, passes on to the earner of the business.

Kvinnliga advokater och information, ett genus- och kontextperspektiv

The primary aim of this thesis is to examine female lawyers' relationships to information from different angles. The starting-point is that the legal information, retrieved from through different information sources, is not free from values and subjectivity. The commonly presumed objectivity of legal information is questioned, based on the fact that this kind of information has developed and changed historically in the context of, and in relation to, society. Another aim is to find out how the female lawyers experience their situation in a traditionally masculine working environment. Qualitative interviews have been carried out with seven female lawyers involving questions about their daily work about the sources that they are using.

Kunskap Àr makt -eller- Tacit Knowledge Management

Today we are living in a knowledge-society where knowledge sharing is of utmost importance for companies in order to keep their competitiveness. Therefore, it is a much debated issue - in both the academic and the corporate world - in what way one should handle the knowledge which continuously is created within companies. The aim of this study is to describe how practitioners share tacit knowledge within a large knowledge company. By that we aim to get an answer to how the chosen theoretical models regarding tacit knowledge relate to the empirical world. In this study we will focus on tacit knowledge in contrast to explicit one.

Private Equity - En kvalitativ studie om hur bolagsstyrning skapar vÀrde i portföljbolag

Purpose: To examine the governance mechanisms and the competence PE-firms adds to theirholding companies through an active ownership in order to create growth.Methodology: A qualitative study with interviews as its main source of data.Theoretical perspectives: Corporate governance and relevant theories within that subjectsuch as agent theory, board of directors and management. Previous research within the subjectwill also be presented.Empirical foundation: The empirical foundation consists of three conducted interviews anddata collected from the chosen PE-firms as well as six different holding companies.Conclusions: The governance mechanisms used in the PE-firms we have chosen are stronglyrelated to both theories within corporate governance as well as previous research on thesubject. The governance mechanisms being used are an explicit owners agenda and strategy, athorough acquisition process, usage of external competence, active ownership through theboard of directors and the insertion of incentive systems..

Strategisk styrning av intranÀt: Centrala val att uppmÀrksamma

Having an intranet as a source for information and communication is common in most contemporary organizations. Research shows that the intranet in itself does not have an explicit area of use, and that leaves every organization to make decisions of the associated functionality on their own. At the same time the strategic opportunities that the intranet could bring get lost somewhere along the way. This means that problems regarding the strategic use of an intranet becomes apparent and may result in loss of investments for the organization. The purpose of this thesis is to identify central choices that can be used as points of discussion and help organizations to work with their intranets on a more strategic level.

It is important that the language in textbooks for foreign language learners reflects the language that the learners would encounter in real life. For this reason, the presence of the thousand most common nouns in two Swedish textbooks in Spanish for upper secondary school is observed in this study. Furthermore, this study aims to examine how these nouns occur in order to determine if their pattern of occurence favours the learning and consolidation of words. The main materials that have been used are A Frequency Dictionary of Spanish by Davies (2006) and the word search program available in the digital versions of the textbooks. The results show that the presence of the thousand most common Spanish nouns does reflect the frequency information presented in the frequency dictionary but not all thousand nouns are included.

The purpose of our study is to find out how teachers can help their students to learn how to managestage fright. By interviewing high school teachers and high school students and also observe one oftheir classes, we wanted to find out how they think about the causes of stage fright and what youcan do to relieve it. We also wanted to find out how teachers are working to teach students how todeal with stage fright, and how they think that you also could work. As a teacher of music, among other things, the task is to assess and rate the students performancesin music. Several components are based on the students' courage to play on his or her instrument infront of other people.

Genus pÄ lÀrarutbildningen : En komparativ analys mellan Ären 2010-2013

It could be argued that theories about gender are something that should be a part of every upper secondary school teachers agenda (knowledge base), because the Swedish curriculum specifically says that schools must encourage and work for equal rights between men and women.The students are supposed tobe encouraged to develop their interest, without judgment, about what femininity and masculinity is.This essay is aiming to find out how gender is used in the teacher program at Södertörns Högskola. The main focus of the essay is to see the possible differences between the curriculum of 2010 and 2013. Using quantitative and qualitative content analysis this essay is aiming to examine how gender words are used in the syllabus, study manuals and literature lists for Educational science A (2010) and Educational science I (2013). In what way are gendered terms, like boy, girl heterosexuality and man, part of the text material? Who is represented in the material? And are there any differences between 2010 and 2013?The results show that there is a difference.

Elevers upplevelse av skolans skillnadspraktik : Etnicitet och normer i en skola för alla

I en globaliserad vÀrld möts olika kulturer och etniciteter stÀndigt och kan ge upphov till en ojÀmlik maktfördelning. Rester av kolonialismen syns i vÄrt samhÀlle i den norm som den vite mannen representerar. Skolan Àr en mötesplats för mÀnniskor oavsett kön, kultur, klass eller etnicitet. Utan att medvetandegöra kategorisering ur ett maktperspektiv blir skolan endast en reproducerande institution dÀr den strukturella diskrimineringen fÄr rÄda. Vi har för avsikt att uppmÀrksamma skillnadspraktiken utifrÄn etnicitet med avseende pÄ synliggjorda normer.

Hur bevaras kunskapen inom ett konsultföretag? : En students tolkning av hur det humanakunskapskapitalet kan bevaras inom ett konsultföretag

"Det Àr den frÀmsta grejen - att lÀra ut" : En kvalitativ studie om elevers förestÀllningar gÀllande lÀrarens roller i jÀmförelse med Lpf 94

Syftet med studien Àr att undersöka hur vÀl LÀroplanen för de frivilliga skolformerna (Lpf 94) stÀmmer överens med gymnasieelevers förestÀllningar gÀllande lÀrarens roll som ledare, relationsskapare, kunskapsförmedlare och moraliska/etiska uppdrag. Metoden som ligger till grund för studien Àr intervjuer i fokusgrupper med gymnasieelever och en dokumentanalys av Lpf 94. Totalt deltog 24 stycken elever frÄn fyra olika gymnasieskolor. Resultatet visar att elevernas förestÀllning om lÀrarens roller i stora drag stÀmmer överens med Lpf 94:s definitioner, exempelvis lÀrarens förmÄga att anvÀnda sig av varierande undervisningsmetoder och ge möjlighet till reellt elevinflytande. Lpf 94 och elevernas förestÀllningar gÀllande lÀraren som relationsskapare skiljer sig Ät.

Volatilitetsmodeller - En utvÀrdering av prestation enligt Model Confidence Set

Syftet med vÄr uppsats var att med hjÀlp av Model Confidence Set (MCS) finna de bÀttre presterande modellerna bland de mest ?kÀnda? och undervisade volatilitetsmodellerna. Vidare har vi Àven rankat dessa modeller inbördes. Eftersom prognoser om volatiliteten Àr mycket viktigt vid prissÀttningen pÄ derivat, i detta fall ett rÀntederivat, Àr Àmnet stÀndigt intressant. Med Model Confidence Set fann vi ett set av bÀttre presterande modeller utifrÄn vÄrt urval av ursprungliga modeller.
