International trade in services has increased over the past 30 years as a result of progress in information and communication technology, increased focus on services from the manufacturing sector and the establishment of trade associations.The international market for healthcare services, also referred to as medical tourism, is growing more and more. Patients increasingly seeking treatment at other countries healthcare systems because of long queues within their own country or because it exists better prices for the same care abroad. However, this type of service exports occurs at a limited extent in Sweden.The purpose of this study is to highlight and analyze the conditions for Swedish service companies to export healthcare services. This, includes the challenges and opportunities that exist to expand the exports of these services.The approach for this study has been in the form of interviews with two market actors and written responses, from the same interview guide, with three market actors. These market participants are the so-called Care companies which export healthcare services in various counties, and the membership organization Swecare who work with export promotion activities for its members in the Swedish healthcare sector.

SammanfattningBakgrund: beskriver definition och kriterier, orsaker/risker, prevalens, behandling av övervikt och fetma, tidigare forskning och vårdrelation där synen på övervikt/ fetma och kroppsuppfattning i vårt samhälle framkommer.Syfte: att belysa patienters upplevelser som lider övervikt och fetma. Metod: en litteraturstudie som är baserad på 13 vetenskapliga artiklar varav elva är kvalitativa och två kvantitativa. Innehållsanalys gemomförs enligt Graneheim och Lundman.Resultat: fyra kategorier har framkommit som belyser patientens upplevelse av övervikt och fetma samt hur vården behandlar patienter som lider av detta. Isolering och utanförskap som leder till upplevelser av ensamhet relaterad till hälsotillstånd, begränsad miljö, diskriminering, mobbning vilket skapar lidande. Kroppsuppfattning, kroppsmissnöje och sårbarhet, skildrar omgivningens uppfattningar och attityder om överviktiga och feta människor samt hur det negativt påverkar dessa individers egna uppfattningar, identitet och förmågor.

The elderly care is an area of great importance to women. Women are more often in need of elderly care; they work with the service and provide a majority of the informal service. Research shows that managers? work-related prerequisites are significantly different between the male dominated technical administration and the female dominated care and educational administration. Studies also show that what the highest managerial organisation gives priority to, often permeate the whole organisation.

According to The National Board of Health and Welfare, about 200 000 elderly persons get some help or support with eating or nutrition problems. This was approximately 2 percent of the population. Older people in sheltered accommodation in community care were not able to manage their own nutrition. The older people were dependent on the food that was offered to them, when and how the food was served. This was a specific responsibility for the nursing staff.

Syfte: Syftet med den här studien var att undersöka smink påverkar kontaktlinsen och ögast främre segment vid bärande av mjuka korttidsslinser.Metod: De medverkande fick använda smink en vecka och vara utan smink en vecka. Efter varje testperiod noterades eventuella beläggningar och skador på linserna och vanliga ögonkomplikationer graderades. Inför varje testperiod fick deltagarna vara utan linser från och med kvällen innan och de fick ett nytt par linser och ett nytt linsetui.Resultat: Det fanns ingen statistisk signifikant skillnad mellan testperioderna gällande ögonkomplikationerna, förutom vid palpebral konjunktival ojämnhet som visade sig ha ett högre medelvärde efter sminkperioden jämfört med  den sminkfria perioden.  En lins hade skador efter den osminkade perioden och en lins hade skador efter sminkperioden. Beläggningar återfanns i större utsträckning efter smink-veckan, men skillnaden var inte statistisk signifikant.  Slutsats:Studien visar på att smink inte påverkar kontaktlinsen eller ögat, förutom palpebrala konjunktiva, negativt efter en vecka sminkanvändning..

During the last 20 years, the Swedish health care system has faced major changes. One of them is the increasing pressure to generate economic profit due to private businesses entering the market. Health care units are forced to make some structural changes in order to become effective and efficient. As a result merger and acquisitions has become a part of the health care sector, and seems to be an increasing phenomenon. Mergers and acquisitions have mainly been studied in the industry.

AimThe aim with this essay was to find out what the personal in the primary care of Värmdö have for attitude to work with physical activity in prevention and treatment of diseases, how they work with the method today and how they think about working with the method in the future. Following questions were in focus of the study: How are they working in the primary care of Värmdö today with physical activity in prevention and treatment of diseases? What is the attitude to work with physical activity in prevention and treatment of diseases? And how do they want to work with physical activity in prevention and treatment of diseases in the future?MethodThe study includes all doctors, nurses and physiotherapists in Gustavsberg and Djurö primary care in Värmdö. To get answers on the question of issue was a questionnaire handed out. 82 % answered, which means that 45 of totally 55 employed in both primary care units answered the questinnaire.Results44 of 45 asked reported that they give verbal advice about physical activity to their patients today.

The purpose of this study is to, based on qualitative interviews, understand the home care staff's experiences of insufficiency and also which strategies they are using to deal with these experiences.The questions of this study are:In which situations are home care staff experiencing insufficiency?What copingstrategies do home care staff set out to deal with these experiences? Method: Interviews has been used as a method to gather empirical data.Theory: Theories of coping-strategies has been used as theory in the analyses of the empirical material.Results: The result of this study concludes that experiences of insufficiency mainly promotes in situations of lack of time for various reasons. The main strategies home care staff is using are planning, adapting, accepting, compensation, get themselves together, control and manage their emotions and understanding. Syftet med studien var att beskriva överensstämmelsen mellan elevernas uppfattning och Carlforsska gymnasiets menade budskap med ?The Carlforsska experience?. Eleverna i detta fall var elever som gick i årskurs åtta på Skiljeboskolan i Västerås. Syfte:Syftet med studien är att studera i hur stor omfattning patienter är omgivna av andra i dödsögonblicket i palliativ vård och undersöka om det finns formulerade omvårdnadsmål i patienters IVP gällande vården i livets slutskede. Metod:Studien är kvantitativ retrospektiv med deskriptiv och analytisk design. I studien ingår samtliga cancerpatienter (n= 316), som vårdats och dött på en vårdavdelning och ASIH (avancerad sjukvård i hemmet) i Stockholm samt registrerats i Svenska palliativregistret (n=295). Resultat:Studien visade att i åldersgrupperna 75-84 år och 85 eller äldre var det fler som dog utan någon närvarande vid dödsögonblicket än i övriga åldersgrupper. Patienter dör utan att någon närvarande vid dödsögonblicket i ungefär lika stor omfattning i urvalet som på övriga palliativa enheter i Sverige.

A peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC line) is a catheter that is inserted through a peripheral vein in the arm and then on to a central vein in the chest. It is used to give injections and infusions and to take blood samples of patients who need treatment for longer periods.The aim of this study was to investigate nurses' perceived knowledge of the care and use of PICC line in wards where PICC line does not occur daily. The aim was also to investigate if the nurses expressed a need and wished for more knowledge to be able to use PICC line, and if PICC line is not used investigate the cause of that.The study was of a descriptive design with quantitative approach. An online survey was answered by 40 nurses from five wards at a university hospital in central Sweden.A large number of the nurses who responded to the survey reported that they lacked knowledge of the care and use of PICC line. Despite this, three-quarters of the nurses usually use PICC line at the infusion / injection / blood tests on patients with PICC line, if they are cared for in their ward.

Introduction: Basic Body Awereness Therapy (BBAT) is a treatment developed to treat different kinds of psychiatric diagnoses, but also to prevent the emergence of any other unhealthy conditions. The treatment is aimed to increase the body control and conscious breathing but also requires mental awareness.Aim: The aim of this study is to, based on social cognitive theory, describe patients' experiences of BBAT performed as group therapy.Method: The study design was qualitative with an inductive approach. Five people were interviewed after a BBAT group treatment in primary care. The data was collected by individual interviews with semi-structured questions and the interviews were analysed by qualitative content analysis.Result/Conclusion: The participants experienced increased body awareness and implemented BBAT strategies even though the treatment frequency was insufficient. BBAT was described as helpful used to regulate intensity level, stress management and facilitate breathing.
