The expectations of a successful outcome are great during childbirth. The overall objective of prenatal care and birth care is that midwives contribute in creating the most positive experience of pregnancy, child birth and infancy as possible. During the past 30 years there has been a significant increase in sectiofrequency both in Sweden and the rest of the Western world. More parents feel an overall insecurity when it comes to child labour. The purpose of this study was to describe how midwives experience the work of creating a sense of security and good nursing when meeting the Expectant parents.

The aim of this master's thesis is to describe the management of free Internet resources in three Swedish research libraries. With the starting point in the increased quantity and importance of these resources, together with reflections on the change of the concept of collection, the thesis shows how and to what extent these freely accessible Internet resources are being integrated in the day-to-day work with collection development. It also elucidates the problems with the free Internet resources from the research libraries points of view. The study is based upon analyses of collection management literature and qualitative interviews with librarians at the chosen libraries. The thesis shows that the research libraries still have not come very far in their work of integrating the free Internet resources in their collections.

Detta arbete är en teoretisk studie där syftet är att se om s.k. Health TechnologyAssessment (HTA) är ett arbetsverktyg som leder till evidensbaserad vård vidöverburenhet. Definitionen överburen graviditet är när graviditetslängden är mer än 42+0graviditetsveckor, eller mer än 294 dagar. Under januari ? mars 2007 genomfördes ettmini-HTA vid Sahlgrenska Universitetssjukhuset för att granska artiklar gällandeöverburenhet.

Background: Balanced scorecard is a relatively new strategy in analysing activities in a company. To carry out a strategy in an organization a successful implementation is very important. Strategy implementations are unique for each organization and to succeed it has to be formulated and implemented with the individual companies particular conditions as starting- point. A problem is that the implementation sometimes is treated as a small detail in the planning process. This problem depends on how the strategic plans is carried out.

 Bakgrund: Förlossningsupplevelser påverkar föräldrar psykologiskt, fysiskt, socialt och kulturellt. Föräldrarnas upplevelser av förlossningen har både omedelbara och långvariga effekter på deras hälsa och relation till varandra och sitt barn. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att belysa faktorer som kan bidra till negativa förlossningsupplevelser hos föräldrar. Metod: Datamaterialet bestod av ett frågeformulär som besvarats av 211 kvinnor som fött barn vid ett sjukhus i Norrland mellan åren 2006-2010 och som uppgivit en negativ förlossningsupplevelse på VAS-skala. Studien bygger på föräldrarnas svar på en öppen fråga "egna kommentarer" och "pappas kommentarer".

This project is implemented as a thesis at the Royal Institute of Technology in the master?s degree program Integrated Product Design and Industrial Design Engineering. The project has involved development and efficiency of a free starter package for Expectant parents with useful content consisting of useful products for both before and after childbirth. Areas that have been investigated include packaging development, service design and appropriate content for the package.During the work, theory about packaging design, materials, manufacturing techniques and logistics have been processed to base the further work on. The project process has involved competitor analysis and interviews with store owners and customer surveys, that have been conducted to identify areas for improvement of the current solution.

Forskning har visat att blivande pappor, som i denna studie även benämns som män eller förstagångspappa, har svårt att känslomässigt knyta an till graviditeten innan den blir synlig. Informationen och stödet från Mödrahälsovården under graviditeten är främst riktat till kvinnan, vilket gör att män ges en känsla av utanförskap. De beskriver känslor som att bli åsidosatt av barnmorskan vilket ökar känslan av oro. I Sverige har alla föräldrar rätt till föräldrastöd och individuellt anpassat stöd. Hur upplever blivande förstagångspappor sin delaktighet och vad är delaktighet för dem? Syftet med studien är att belysa förstagångspappors upplevelse av delaktighet i alla tänkbara aspekter av graviditet.
