Entrepreneurship is a subject of growing attention, especially within public policy, media and research. Many studies have been done, but the subject of entrepreneurial Exit has to a large extent been ignored. The aim of this study has been to investigate how entrepreneurs at an early stage in their career think about Exit within a near future, and what factors influence their attitude towards Exit. The study was conducted through a survey answered by 253 entrepreneurs active within business incubators in Sweden. Based on previous research on entrepreneurial intentions, a model of Exit intentions was developed, and tested against several other factors.

This report is based upon an experimental study of Exit sign luminescence in different environments. The purpose is to evaluate the lowest luminescence of an Exit sign, based upon Swedish regulations. Scientific experiments have been conducted in a controlled environment, where Exit sign luminescence was graded by an evaluation group. The results of these have been verified by similar experiments that took place in two department stores. The final result of the study is guidelines for appropriate Exit sign luminescence in different environments..

Political Exit from governments is an unusual phenomenon within Swedish politics. The purpose of this essay is, from an ethical perspective, to particularize, understand and analyze the actions of the Swedish minister of defence, Mikael Odenberg, in his decision to Exit the government in September 2007. We will put light on the ethical conflict Odenberg apprehended, the courses of actions and finally his ability to solve the ethical dilemma. The conclusion is that the case of Odenberg involves several dimensions of the conflict, associated with a succession of different loyalties. Odenberg were in two minds whether to act up to his own conviction or be in sympathy with the government.

The purpose of the study is to investigate methods and work procedures that aim to motivate people to leave a cult and/or supporting them after a cult Exit. This thesis seeks to explain the effect of private equity ownership on the amount of invest- ments made in a company. We use three capital expenditure based key ratios to determine if there is a tendency for private equity owned firms to invest more or less than comparable companies. Our dataset involve 27 Swedish buyout companies that were sold by a private equity fund between 2001 and 2009. Each buyout is assigned a peer group of two firms in similar size and in the same industry. Firstly, we compare the key ratios to determine potential differences in the level of investment.

This paper investigates the relation between stock performance and owner share retention in Swedish public equity listings during 2009 to 2013. The listings during the period are studied and divided into binary groups of "Exits" and "non-Exits", which are used in a statistical regression model to determine if there is a significant difference in average stock performance. The study finds that stocks of Exit-companies on average significantly underperformed stocks of non-Exit-companies during 2009 to 2013. Nevertheless, due to the limited number of observations available and the unusual market conditions, caution is required in interpreting these results..

Denna uppsats har som syfte att analysera problematiken kring så kallade Exit-upplägg. Syftet är vidare att hitta en möjlig lösning för att minska Exit-upplägg som utförs av fysiska personer. Efter EU-Domstolens dom iX och Y-fallet öppnades en möjlighet att utföra Exit-upplägg. Ett Exit-upplägg innebär att en person gör en un-derprisöverlåtelse till ett holdingbolag i utlandet som personen själv äger för att se-dan efter en fullständig utflyttning få sina kapitalvinster beskattade i den nya hem-viststaten. Väljs ett land med låg eller ingen beskattning på kapitalvinster och har landet ett skatteavtal med Sverige som inte ger Sverige såsom källstat en rätt att be-skatta vinster kan beskattning av andelar minskas eller helt undgås.Problematiken kring Exit-upplägg ligger i att tioårsregeln i 3 kap.

Vi vill undersöka huruvida det finns ett samband mellan riskkapitalföretagets ägarstruktur och deras val av Exit genom en positivistisk studie med en deduktiv ansats. Målet är att öppna vägen för mer djupgående forskning kring Exits i Sverige genom att undersöka ett antal potentiella samband. Riskkapitalisterna delas upp i tre grupper baserat på deras ägarstruktur: privata, koncernbundna samt offentliga riskkapitalister.Utifrån befintlig teori på området har vi utformat nio hypoteser som kan delas in i fyra grupper. Den första gruppen testar huruvida sambandet mellan ägarstruktur och val av Exit existerar, den andra gruppen testar sambandet mellan portföljbolagets bransch och val av Exit, nästa grupp testar huruvida det finns ett samband mellan investeringslängden och val av Exit respektive ägarstruktur och slutligen testar vi om det finns ett samband mellan portföljbolagets potential och deras val av Exit.För att samla in nödvändig data för att testa dessa hypoteser utgick vi ifrån Förvärv och Fusioners data över alla Exits i Sverige från 2003 till och med första halvåret 2006. Databasen fick kompletteras med ett antal variabler: omsättningstillväxt, typ av Exit, ägarstruktur samt bransch.

The two swedish unions, Akademikerförbundet SSR and Kommunal, have a majority of female participations who mainly work in the public services. The difference between the unions is that one of them only represents members with academic educations and the other has members with lower educations. The aim of this study was to compare the two unions according to the terms Exit, voice and loyalty, but also participation and influence. There were 142 participants in this study and 8 participants were interviewed in a pre-study. The result of the study shows that voice is a strong predictor to wellbeing in work life.

This study used a qualitative interview design to explore the experiences of seven Swedish female elite athletes and their career retirement. The athletes were engaged in three different sports; track and field (athletics), handball and golf and five of them are former professional or semi-professional athletes. The process of their athletic role Exit was based on the theoretical findings of Ebaugh (1988) and her four phases: First Doubts, Seeking Alternatives, The Turning Point and Creating the Ex-Role. The findings reveal that for these female former elite athletes Seeking Alternatives already starts before the First Doubts and that possibly the athletes at an early stage have insights of the discontinuity of their athletic career. The importance of transferring their role residual to future paths in life was stressed among the female athletes in order to be able to have a smooth transition process.
