Många kvinnor betraktar amning som det naturligaste sättet att ge sitt nyfödda barn föda. Mödrar får information av sjukvården att bröstmjölk innehåller all näring som det nyfödda barnet behöver samt antikroppar som skyddar barnet mot de vanligaste barnsjukdomarna. Det är inte alla kvinnor som kan amma i dagens samhälle och detta kan leda till att känslor väcks hos den nyblivna mamman som under graviditeten tänkt amma men som sedan inte kunnat göra det. Syftet med studien var att utifrån bloggtexter beskriva mödrars upplevelser av amningssvårigheter under de första sex månaderna efter barnets födelse. Studien har en kvalitativ metod med en induktiv ansats.

AbstractThis thesis was conducted by Jenny Jansson and Maria Madsen, students at the Faculty ofTechnology and Science and the Innovation and Design Engineer programme at KarlstadUniversity, during the spring 2008. Syfte: Syftet med denna studievar att beskriva pappor/partners kunskaper och känslor gällande amning samt hurde resonerar kring jämställdhet och delaktighet när det gäller amning. Metod: En kvalitativ studie där niohalvstrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes. Insamlad data analyserades med enfenomenologisk analysmetod utformad av Giorgi. Resultat: Tre huvudteman utkristalliserades under analysprocessen;Varje huvudtema byggde på ett antal centrala teman. Under huvudtemat Vilja att barnet ska ammas/få bröstmjölkbeskrevs, med hjälp av centrala teman, informanternas vilja att deras barnskulle ammas och/eller få bröstmjölk samt vad denna vilja grundade sig på.Vidare beskrevs under huvudtemat Amningensinverkan på pappor/medmammor, med hjälp av centrala teman, hur amningenpåverkat informanterna känslomässigt på olika sätt.

Bakgrund: Fördelarna med amning är välkända men trots det avbryter många svenska mödrar sin amning tidigare. Att avbryta amningen kan för en del mödrar vara problematisk och leda till skuldkänslor. Tidigare studier visar att brister i stödet ökar känslor av frustration, förvirring och tvivel hos mödrarna. Syfte: Att beskriva vilken erfarenhet distriktssköterskan inom barnhälsovården har av att stödja mödrar som valt att avbryta amningen. Metod: Studien har en kvalitativ ansats där semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med tio distriktssköterskor.

Bakgrund: Amning är av stor betydelse för det nyfödda barnet och mamma, både ur närings- och trygghetsaspekter. Tidigare studier om sambandet mellan förlossningssätt och amning visar motstridiga resultat; vissa studier indikerar att sectio påverkar amningen negativt medan andra studier inte visar på något samband.Syftet: Att undersöka huruvida det finns demografiska och hälsorelaterade skillnader hos mammor gällande förlossningssätt samt om förlossningssätt påverkar amningsdurationen upp till två månaders ålder.Metod: Studien har en populationsbaserad kohortdesign och omfattar n= 35250 mamma-barn par i Örebro- och Uppsala län, där barnet fötts åren 1993-2001. Statistiska analyser har genomförts med Chi-square test, binär logistisk regressionsanalys och multivariat logistik regressionsanalys.Resultat: Visade att mammor som förlösts med sectio ammade i lägre utsträckning vid två månaders ålder i jämförelse med mammor som förlösts vaginalt. Många riskfaktorer identifierades för en ökad risk att förlösas med sectio: län, hälsofaktorer hos mamma och barn, paritet, mammans ålder, rökning samt socioekonomiska faktorer. Resultatet kan hjälpa barnmorskan i hennes profession, genom att kunskap erhålls om dessa samband.

The transformation of the Swedish Armed Forces is bringing about major changes in many areas. Indirect fire is one capability affected by these changes. Financial savings, a shrinking organization and higher eligibility requirements mean that fewer soldiers will gain access to exclusive high-tech support resources such as the JAS 39 Gripen aircraft and the ARCHER artillery system. This thesis aims to examine whether access to indirect fire capability can be increased through the use of civilian products and communication networks. Technology development in the civilian mobile communications area is exponential and nations such as the USA, facing challenges similar to those of the Swedish Armed Forces, devote substantial resources to research and development.

The survey Distanshandeln idag 2005, made by the Swedish postal service, tells us that web shops started to pop up in the 1990´s and began competing with the catalogue sells in the end of the decade. Ten years ago, it was said that the web shops would take over the distance trade market. Today we know that did not happen. Internet shopping accounted for 4, 2 % of all distance shopping in Sweden last year. Our inquiry is guided by the observation that the catalogue is still in use and moreover, it seems to have changed very little from when we were kids.

Bakgrund: Nyblivna mammor rekommenderas att amma under barnets första halvår. År 2008 ändrades den nationella rekommendationen till att ammande kvinnor kan dricka alkohol i måttlig mängd. Syfte: Att undersöka vilka attityder föräldrar uttrycker på föräldraforum angående alkohol under amningsperioden. Metod: Data samlades in genom att undersöka föräldrainriktade webbsidor för att hitta inlägg om föräldrars attityder till amning och alkohol.  Totalt valdes 40 inlägg med medföljande svar, skrivna mellan 2008- 2013, från tre föräldraforum ut.

The aim of this master?s thesis is to explore concert institutions? informative texts prior to upcoming concerts ? texts in promotional materials and descriptive texts in programme papers. The thesis is carried out from a critical discourse analytical perspective. The discourse analysis is focusing on finding the texts? messages and it asks the question: To whom are these texts addressed? Theoretical support is mainly taken from Foucault?s theory about the relation between power and knowledge.

This thesis discusses the global regime complex concerning the management of plant genetic resources for food and agriculture, and how different regimes concerning these resources cooperate or stand in opposition to each other. Because of changes in US patent law and the establishment of TRIPS, patent claims over plant genetic resources has increased dramatically globally. This, amongst other things, in turn has lead to the development of CBD which in turn lead to the creation of access and benefit laws in many countries. To create a free flow of genetic resources for food and agriculture the ITPGRFA, with its multilateral system, were negotiated. The aim of this thesis is to investigate which consequences the regime complex concerning plant genetic resources for food and agriculture can have on the rights of small farmers, agricultural research and food security in the global South.
