I denna rapport behandlas en strategi för systemutveckling som kallas för Evolutionär prototyping. Evolutionär prototyping innebär att utveckla system i inkrementella bitar där system får växa till ett driftsystem för vidare Evolution. Det finns också andra former av prototyping som explorativ, experimentell och kooperativ prototyping där prototyperna kastas bort och ett nytt system konstrueras. Många metodologier finns för att stödja processen att utveckla informationssystem. På grund av tillgången till CASE-verktyg och fjärde generationens utvecklingsverktyg har Evolutionär prototyping blivit allt mer populärt i praktiken.

Swedish Encyclopaedias and the Explanatory Perspective of History, Essay in History AbstractIn my essay I describe how Swedish 20th century encyclopaedias interpret the coming about of the British Empire, the overall purpose being to establish a pattern of Evolution in terms of historical understanding on the part of the encyclopaedic literature. Firstly, I have tried to determine whether the presentations at all constitute explanatory efforts. In those cases where they do, I have sought to ascertain whether the reasons put forward are to be understood as structural and stable, or as matters of less permanence. I have also tried to link these interpretations to significant ?constructions? of history ? i.

Since July 2005 the major companies listed on the Swedish stock exchanges are required to apply the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance. The code states that companies shall have a nomination committee responsible for nominating new board candidates and seek to obtain gender equality in the Board of Directors. This paper examines the trend of board as well as nomination committee composition among Sweden's 60 largest publicly traded companies between 2005 and 2008. Our overall finding is that neither the board nor the nomination committee composition has changed to a notable extent during the period and that the share of newly appointed female board members has actually decreased. However, the trends vary between different sectors.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to find out how information seeking habits and experiences of people in different generations affects their expectations on information retrieval systems like OPAC. Two OPACs are used, one web-OPAC and one mobile-OPAC. The following questions are asked: how can theories about information seeking behaviors explain why and in which way one seeks information? In which way does information seeking behaviors and habits affect the experience of OPAC? Which differences and/or similarities can be found between the web-OPAC and the mobile-OPAC? How does generational aspects affect experiences and preferences in an information seeking context? The theoretical framework of the thesis is information retrieval with several models about information-seeking/searching needs and behaviors. The empirical data contains interviews with nine people in different generations and protocols about two different OPACs.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att diskutera och redogöra för hur religionslärare och läromedelsförlag resonerar kring religionskunskapslärobokens koppling till digital informationsteknik. Genom intervjuer med lärare och läromedelsförlag ville jag ta reda på om det finns en efterfrågan av en lärobok med koppling till digital informationsteknik, vilka funktioner de skulle vilja ha i ett sådant läromedel och vilken funktion det beskrivs få i undervisningen. Resultaten visar att det finns en efterfrågan av läromedel med koppling till digital informationsteknik även om olika grupper av lärare efterfrågar olika saker precis som de förhåller sig olika till teknik och läroboken. Resultaten bekräftar teorin om att ny teknik i skolan leder till en Evolution snarare än en rEvolution då lärarna främst vill kunna använda tekniken till det de redan gör idag. Detta blir en svårighet för förlagen då satsningar på digitala funktioner inte tilltalar den grupp av lärare som använder läroboken mest idag och den grupp av lärare som efterfrågar mer digitala funktioner bara ser läroboken som en i mängden av läromedel och antagligen inte kommer att använda den mer trots nya funktioner..

Rovdjursfrågan i Sverige är en stor, het debatt och vi har valt att koncentrera oss på vargen. Det finns många olika åsikter om vargens vara eller icke vara i den svenska naturen och i detta arbete tar vi bl.a. upp några orsaker till de olika åsikterna. Vargen är ett väldigt skyggt djur som under naturliga förhållanden inte gärna närmar sig människor. Trots detta har den fått ett oförtjänt dåligt rykte.

The question of direct citizen participation in politics and administration is a contestable one. Its proponents claim that it has positive consequences even for the more "traditional", representative democracy, since participation leads to an increased political knowledge and increased political interest, and thus creates a revitalised democracy. Critical voices have however been raised to the validity of this claim. Critics have also pointed out direct participation as problematic, because it leads to problems of political inequality: a difference of political influence between ? on the one hand, the citizens participating directly and those that restrict their political participation to voting, and ? on the one the other hand ? between the institutions, for example schools, that employ, and don?t employ this method of direct citizen influence.In this essay, these two points of criticisms are tested in the context of user-boards in elementary and secondary schools.

The topic of interest is why Swedish unemployment after OPEC - 1 remained exceptionally low, compared to the OECD average. The object of study is the Evolution of welfare institutions, like the Rehn ? Meidner model, after WWII, and the aim is to explore why the institution of solidaristic wage bargaining collapsed coming the nineties. Deployed theoretical perspectives are how domestic institutions determine a country's adaptation to alterations of the international economic system. However, equally important are how policy objectives, like full employment, becomes institutionalized and therefore guides the actions undertaken.

Previous research has found an increased transmission of stock movements in Europe, partly caused by the establishment of institutions as the EU and the EMU. The purpose of this paper is to find the possible impact from the EU and the EMU concerning the Evolution of international transmission of stock market movements, on four Scandinavian markets, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The research is based on primary data, existing theories and earlier studies regarding international transmission of stock market movements. The examined method is a VAR (Vector autoregressive model) including a 10x1 vector of variables. Furthermore the tests considered are correlation, granger-causality, variance decomposition and impulse response.

Hur läroböcker är utformade och vilket innehåll de har är inte en slump, utan ett resultat av åratal av forskning och ett samhälle i konstant förändring. Idag tar vi det som en självklarhet att ett stort kapitel i biologiundervisningen, såväl på högstadiet som i gymnasiet, tas upp av Evolutionen, det vill säga läran om livets utveckling. Så har det inte alltid varit.Denna undersökning ämnar till att se om det finns ett samband mellan sekulariseringen av skolan och hur ämnet Evolution har formats i biologiläroböckerna för högstadiet och gymnasiet. En textanalys har gjorts av 20 läroböcker från olika stadier och tidsperioder, resultaten har sammanställts och diskuterats.Sammanfattningsvis kan konstateras att biologiböckernas innehåll har förändrats i takt med dels sekulariseringen av den svenska skolan och dels olika skolreformer som gjorts under 1900-talet. Till detta kan vi addera de framsteg som naturvetenskapen gjort från andra halvan av 1800-talet fram till idag.

The technical Evolution has a great influence on the public libraries. Electronic media becomes more and more common. This Master´s thesis is based upon the Swedish Library law 9§ (SFS 1996:1596) which says: Public- and school libraries should pay special attention to children and teenagers by offering books, information technology and other media, adapted to their needs, to encourage development of language and stimulate reading. From this point of view we have examined why the children´s departments in public libraries offer CD-ROM games which are based upon characters from the literature, how they are used in the daily activity and how they can contribute to the development of the children´s department.We have made literary studies and empirical investigations including interviews, observation studies etc. The results from this studies shows that both young and adults appreciate the CD-ROM games.

Background: A large part of the daily political and economic debate in Sweden concerns the EU. One question that has been debated since the beginning of European integration is whether trade is created as a consequence of integration and, ifso, how great are the gains related to the increased trade. An equally important but maybe less debated question is whether countries outside the union are affected by the increased European integration. Is increased European integration made at the cost of countries outside the EU? Purpose: The purpose of this study is, by calculating trade creation and trade diversion, to evaluate if a number of developing countries? trade with Sweden has decreased after Sweden?s membership in the European Union.

The aim of this study is to investigate differences that exist in Estonia and Russia with regard to civil society, democracy and corruption and try to find out what can be possible causes to the vast differences in these two countries. Many political scientists claim that civil society plays a key role in democratic transitions. This paper takes its point of departure in 1991, when the Soviet Union collapsed and Estonia and Russia became independent. Since then Estonia has had a flourishing economy which attract many foreign investments, with Sweden as the greatest investor. The country has also managed well to adjust quickly from totalitarianism to democracy.

Forecasting stock market returns is an interesting topic since more and more Swedes enter and invest in this market. Theory implies, however, that such exercises should be impossible. The aim of this thesis is to investigate the possibility to forecast future stock returns by looking at macroeconomic variables? history. The study is limited to the Swedish market as it is based on the OMXS30-index which represents the 30 most exchanged stocks on Stockholms¬börsen, the Swedish stock exchange.
