In a time where fast trends and shorter product lifecycles are dominating the clothing industryfashion companies must constantly deliver revolutionary products in order to survive. Theconsumers are more demanding than ever before and collections that used to be released twicea year are almost nothing but a memory lost. Some companies are now releasing theircollections continuously and have abandoned the seasons completely. Media has put attentionon the speed that the fashion industry is moving in now and asks whether we can expect it toimplode?The purpose of the thesis is to establish how the creative process in a company operating onthe Swedish or the Danish clothing market is affected by external factors i.e.

Problemformuleringen i denna studie är ?Hur uppfattar fiollärare genrebreddens betydelse för elevers fortsatta musikintresse och utveckling?? Hur bemöter musikskolan den musikaliska evolutionen? Den evolution vilken, i och med 1900-talets paradigmskifte, fört det musikaliska synsättet från det traditionella mot ett allt mer öppet klimat i musikundervisningen. För att få svar på detta vände jag mig till fyra fiollärare med fiollärarutbildning och använde den kvalitativa intervjun som metod. Samtliga informanter hade erfarenhet inom yrket. Resultatet av undersökningen visar att lärarna upplever elevernas musikidentitet mycket starkare än förr, vilket resulterar i att låtvalet är väldigt viktigt.

Att gestalta med hållbarhet i åtanke är en uppgift som blivit alltmer efterfrågad inom landskapsarkitektur. Enligt kalkyler från FN beräknas andelen människor som lever i städer att kraftigt öka under kommande årtionden, vilket med förestående miljö- och klimatproblematik gör hållbarhetsfrågan mycket aktuell. Biomimik är en ny vetenskap där naturen studeras som modell, mått och mentor och vars lösningar på hållbarhetsproblem översätts till den mänskliga kontexten. Genom 3,6 miljarder år av evolution har naturen utvecklat en i det närmaste idealbild av hur hållbarhet kan gestaltas, och bör således värderas som en viktig inspirations- och kunskapskälla för samtliga aktörer inom den samhällsbyggande kåren, inte minst bland landskapsarkitekter. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka biomimikens tillämpningsmöjligheter inom landskapsarkitektur, med målet att främja en hållbar samhällsutveckling. Målgruppen är i första hand landskapsarkitekter, men arbetet riktar sig även till andra med ett intresse för en hållbar samhällsutveckling. Till grund för arbetet ligger en litteratursökning, varefter ett stort antal vetenskapliga artiklar studerats.

There is an ongoing evolution in scholarly communication. The traditional way of communicating scholarly results through scientific journals is beginning to be replaced by other means of dissemination. One new channel for scholars to communicate their results is digital publication in so-called open archives. An open archive is a kind of full text database, where a scholar may archive/publish his or her articles, as a complement or a substitute to publishing in scientific journals. There are discipline-oriented archives and institutional archives.

We compare Matte Painting with a theatrical backdrop, a background that closely or viewed from the wrong angle can break the illusion that it is a real world environment. We will investigate and present how to build a digitally created Matte Painting that enables not having to travel across the country for the ideal film location, but can shoot the scene in a studio environment. We analyze existing film scenes that have made use of Matte Painting, making comparisons between different uses for Matte painting and discuss a conclusion that answers our main question: "How has the evolution of the film technology, Matte Painting, looked like and how you can apply a digital matte paint in post production to enhance the overall experience of a movie scene?".

Många är de forskare som har ägnat sig åt problem med kulturmöten. Det har skrivits ett antal avhandlingar i ämnet kulturmöten i skolan idag. Främst har då invandrarnas kultur och religion kartlagts. Vad den svenska skolan gör för att bemöta t.ex. en muslimsk eller hinduisk elev, med deras respektive önskningar och behov, på bästa sätt.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka lärares resonemang gällande potentiellt kontroversiella ämnesområden inom undervisning i naturkunskap på gymnasienivå. Studien baserades på kvalitativa intervjuer med fem gymnasielärare i naturkunskap.

After the last European Union expansion the east European countries became members of the European Union. This meant that they would become apart of the Schengen agreement and that they would be able to travel, live and work anywhere in Europe. This came as a shock tothe Scandinavian trade unions that were worried that work migration would escalate, and that it would lead to social dumping, which would make the working conditions worse for the native workers. .The Swedish labour market is build up by the principal of negotiations. The evolution of the labour laws comes from the rules and regulations of collective agreements.The Lex Britannia principal was made to regulate the working conditions for guest workers in Sweden, by making it possible for trade unions to take industrial action against foreign companies to make them sign a Swedish collective agreement.Even though Swedish labour law includes an obligation to maintain industrial peace it is not valid for foreign companies.

Following paper deals with the questions about prehistorian and medieval settlements in the Mälar Valley and their relations to the historically known hamlets or single farmsteads from the 17th- and 18th-century cadastral maps. Models over settlement development through the period A.D 200 to 1700 done by geographers Ulf Sporrong and Dan Carlsson are tested and compared to the knowledge won by recent archaeological excavations. Is there a connection between the older settlements linked together by dry-stone walls and the late Iron Age settlements? Does the picture differ from the one presented for the Gotland region? How well are the general theories about different settlement development depending on basic natural conditions as for the potentials for cultivation and topography, corresponding to the physical remains?  Are there other factors involved when the settlement structure takes its form?The methods that are used here constitutes mainly of a comparison between different locations in the Mälar Valley that has got a well known prehistory thanks to extensive archaeological excavations. Cadastral maps, soilmaps, topography maps and maps over ancient monuments are intertwined to the same map and analyzed through works in Geographical information systems.The results of this study reveal an interesting suspicion in the continuity-question through the Iron Age.

I samhället finns det en förväntning på att kvinnor och män är olika och de ska åtrå varandra, vilket kan benämnas heteronormativiten. Att följa den förväntade normen innebär att få ta del av privilegier som normbrytare saknar. Genom normkritik kan man granska och ifrågasätta de rättigheter och privilegier som heteronormativiteten innebär. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka huruvida sexualitets- och relationsundervisningen i gymnasieskolan bedrevs heteronormativt. Undersökningen ämnade ta reda på hur lärare pratade om homosexualitet, bisexualitet och könsöverskridande identitet och uttryck och huruvida lärarna problematiserar existensen av en heteronorm i samhället.

Humans attitudes towards different animals are very complex were culture, genetic, psychology and evolution are some of the factors that influence. The order of animals that can provoke the most intense and extreme attitudes, both positive and negative, are the carnivores. Wolves are a constant debate in Sweden and even though a big part of the population are neutral towards the wolf, a clear friction of the attitudes can be seen. Some factors that have been seen to influence the attitude are age, education and the size of the hometown. The aim of this study is to investigate whether outdoor activities, time spend in rural areas, and time spent in a weekend cottage, also correlate with attitude towards wolf.

In this composition, a study of consignment inventory on basis of the factors which are important for implementation and application of consignment inventory are made. Logistics chain from subcontractor to end customer is becoming more complex when the volume of items constantly increases to satisfy the needs of the market. From that perspective, companies had large inventories but today it is a lot of different solutions to streamline inventory management. One way that recently becomes increasingly common is to let the subcontractor fill up the customers stock using different approaches such as VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory). A further step in the evolution can be to make use of consignment inventory where the vendor owns the stock of the customer.

The progress in the field of technology is often described as massive and its development has had a great impact on the social development (Vetenskapsrådet, 2012). As a result of the digital evolution, there has been a change in the way customer and company interact (Normann, 2011). The traditional way for players to interact with each other required an interaction human to human (ibid), a mode of interaction that now can be replaced or supplemented by todays technology and often Internet-based solutions (Salomonson et al., 2013). These technological solutions, the technical interaction, are often referred to as self-service systems. These systems enables the customer to carry out the tasks previously performed by the company (Hilton and Hughes, 2013).
