Redan 1899 skrev Woodworth om iakttagelser av effekten av visuell feedback på rörelser. Sedan dess har ett stort antal studier berört ämnet och studerat effekterna de medför. Denna studie anser att det finns brister i kunskapen om visuell feedbacks effekter inom vardaglig användning. Genom att låta deltagare använda och utvärdera instanser av en bokningsplattform för biljetter till ett event har studien observerat användarens upplevelse och effektivitet under processen.Den insamlade datan analyserades via variansanalys men lyckas inte avfärda nollhypotesen. Studiens resultat visade ingen korrelation mellan närvaron av visuell feedback på hover-funktionen och användarens effektivitet och upplevelse.

Using the principles of continuous improvement andLean Production, the author developed a concept for HAGS Aneby AB to changeto the customer order driven assembly of spring toys.First of all, the theories of Lean Production, logistics and ergonomics are used tobuild and present a theoretical framework for further examination. Then, toachieve the target, the current assembly process is analyzed to develop some firstconceptual ideas for improvement. In order to develop the best advice, theconcepts are evaluated against the company?s requirementsThe developed action plan gives recommendations on how the company shouldrestructure their assembly process and the organization of the related departmentin order to produce spring toys in a more time efficient and lean way.

The conflict in Aceh had been going on for 30 years time, but ended after a tsunami hit the area in 2004. The impact the natural catastrophe had on the conflict was that both GAM and the Indonesian government was brought together with the intent of reaching a peace agreement. The authors to this thesis paper ask the question of why it became peace after such long time of war, but also if rational choice theory can explain this event. The answer to the first question is that the tsunami was the main reason to why it became peace. As to the second question, the conclusion would be that, depending on which view of human nature one has, rational choice theory can only answer the question if cultural, religious and emotional factors are disregarded.

Den onormala avkastningen för de undersökta aktiekurserna har beräknats en dag före till en dag efter samtliga realiseringar av reporänteförändringar som skett mellan åren 2004 till 2015. Teori: Den teoretiska referensramen för studien består av den effektiva marknadshypotesen och överreaktionshypotesen.Slutsatser: Studien har påvisat att det råder signifikant samband mellan ränteförändringar och de studerade aktiernas avkastning vid realisering av ränteförändringarna..

Wavecraft AB develops medical equipment for heating of organic synthesises. The heating is done with microwaves, which improves the process in both speed and accuracy compared to the more traditional methods where heating elements are used. This report discusses the developement of an automatic lid mechanism for one of Wavecraft's product prototypes. The company assumes that the final product will be integrated by customers into fully automated systems, and the upgrade from a manually to an automatically controlled lid is therefore an important step in the product's developement process.The first stage och the project was an idea generation process. The ideas generated here were organized into five different concepts of which the best one was selected through the use of a concept matrix.

June Aim: From the basis of Self-Determination Theory find those motives that are the sources of the greatest motivation at Sandvik Tooling and determine if the employees are mostly driven by intrinsic- or extrinsic motivation.                      Method:  The study has a quantitative approach where the empirical part consists of 24 questions from the SDT-theory?s Aspirations index that is divided into six groups evenly distributed on intrinsic- and extrinsic motivations. The questionnaire has been developed in Google forms and distributed digitally to the organisation by e-mail through a contact person at Sandvik Tooling. The respondents? answers are accounted for question by question in the empirical chapter and have been processed with a factor analysis and compared with the SDT-theory.Result & Conclusions: The results we received are in line with SDT-theory and whether people are motivated differently by intrinsic-Personal growth and Community contributions higher than all of the extrinsic motivational factors.

This thesis intends to examine the role of the city, Dublin, in the Irish economic growth during the 1990s. It is a case study where Dublin is compared with current theories on post modern cities as growth machines and increasingly prominent actors in the global context. The study has an interdisciplinary approach but focuses on political science issues such as power distribution, global-local governance and local political organisation. It is a theory driven study that also intends to add aspects to the understanding of the cities of our time. I argue that Dublin has faced a lot of changes during the last decades in accordance with the post modern city.

Den här studien studerar crowdfunding och musikfestivaler och hur dessa kan kombineras. Syftet är att utifrån ett upplevelseproduktionsperspektiv teoretiskt beskriva den nya modellen för crowdfundade festivaler som U x U Festival utvecklat. För att uppnå syftet kommer jag att besvara följande frågor: Vad innebär en crowdfundad festival (U x U Festival)? Hur kan en crowdfundad festival beskrivas utifrån ett upplevelseproduktionsteoretiskt perspektiv? Hur kan en teoretisk modell se ut för en crowdfundad festival?Mina resultat visar att crowdfunding kan vara en mycket bra finansieringslösning för festivaler och kulturarrangemang som vid större produktioner tvingas ta stora ekonomiska risker om inte biljettförsäljning, väder och konkurrerande event faller väl ut. Crowdfunding kan, genom att tidigarelägga delar av intäkterna för biljettförsäljningen åtta till nio månader före festivalen hjälpa festivaler att differentiera sig och även skala storleken på festivalen efter den tidigarelagda biljettförsäljningen.

Today?s political debate on environmental issues and environmental thinking, alongside the Swedish presidency of the EU and Climate Conferences shows that the environment is an important topic. Environment is important, not only in politics, but also for companies and the demand of environmental strategies and environmental reports has increased. This leads to an increased pressure on firms to begin to report on environmental concerns and to create active systems for environmental thinking.The aim of the present study is to examine why firms in the transport sector, mainly lorry transports, reports environmental aspects and what drives these companies to create these reports.Based on stakeholder and institutional theory we aim to examine to which extent stakeholders affects the environmental accounting and reporting. We also aim to explain how the organization is influenced to incorporate external and societal environmental procedures.

The purpose of the study is to explore the internal implementation and communication of ecological sustainability within an organization and to identify obstacles and challenges that may arise. To address the study's purpose and research questions, a qualitative methodology and semi-structured interviews were used. Respondents were selected from two different units within a large global organization operating in the automotive industry. The study's findings indicate that the organization's sustainability efforts are extensive and integrated across several departments. It is also evident that sustainability initiatives are primarily driven by upper management within the organization, although there is room for lower hierarchical levels to provide some feedback.

This Master thesis aims to study the relation between Swedish governmental cultural policy and cultural events at two Swedish public libraries. The Masters thesis demonstrates how national cultural policy regulates every part of the public library. This demonstration is a result based upon national cultural policy documents and interviews with employees at two public libraries in Sweden. The conclusion that national cultural policy regulates this part of the public library is drawn with help of the circle of culture as applied in Culture Studies and Michel Foucault theories of power. The thesis contains the answer of four questions, two involving cultural policy and the other two events at the library.

The purpose of this master thesis is to evaluate how internal vehicle information inScania buses and trucks can be used for evaluation of driver performance regardingfuel economy, vehicle wear, traffic safety, emissions and cargo damage. To someextent it was examined whether this information could be used for training the driverto a better driving style. In addition, a prototype for such a system was developed.By first defining what distinguishes a talented driver and how he/she differs from apoor driver, followed by a study of the internal vehicle communication, a system thatin real-time gathers and interprets vehicle data could be developed.The resulting system can with reasonably high reliability detect a number of trafficevents (such as braking, lane changing or hilltops). At each such event, the driver?sbehaviour can be evaluated.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how theoretical investment appraisal techniques are applied in an investment driven company, regarding investments in fixed assets. The aim is also to investigate on what grounds the choices of techniques are justified, and what consequences these choices have on the overall investment appraisal. The study is designed as a case study of Divisionen, a production unit of a market leading company in Sweden, which is kept anonymous in this thesis. The empirical data consists of interviews with company employees and internal documents, including decision support for seven approved investment projects. The interviewees were chosen based on their role in the investment decision making process.

In 2003 the deciding political council in Bromölla municipality requested that an overhaul on the committee and public administration structure should be conducted. In the report Bromölla was characterized as a traditional organization with a low degree of change. This case study will examine why the organization previously has been reluctant to change its structure and why they are willing to do so now. In the pursuit of this objective I conducted document studies, interviews and observations. I have used theories on, institutional change and organizational culture to enlighten this.My findings shows that the traditionalists within the organization has greatly affected this reluctance towards change, in the deciding council 39 % of the representatives are 60 years or older.
