Vi använder eventet America?s Cup som fallstudie för att identifiera hur event bedrivs idag och vilka behov vår modell bör tillfredställa. Metod: Vi har använt oss av både en kvalitativ metod bestående av djupintervjuer med eventets nyckelpersoner och en kvantitativ metod som utgörs av en enkätundersökning bland befolkningen i två stadsdelar.

Då företag idag är utsatta för ständig konkurrens gäller att dessa utformar sin marknadsföring för att passa de preferenser som dess målgrupp innehar och för att tränga igenom det brus dagens mediala samhälle kännetecknas av.Event marknadsföring har de senaste årtiondena uppmärksammats, dock är forskningen inom ämnet relativt ny och således har olika marknadsföringsteorier inte tidigare applicerats på events för att förstå dess genomslagskraft och effekt.Detta resonemang har lett oss till vår problemformulering:  Vilka skillnader och likheter finns mellan företagets och kundernas uppfattning av event marknadsföring?Studiens huvudsyfte är att kartlägga de faktorer som avgör ett events verkan på samtliga deltagare. Inom ramen för detta avser vi identifiera och beskriva de marknadsförings- och kommunikationsteorier som finnes lämpliga för att slutligen kunna ge våra synpunkter till företag som kan leda till en mer effektiv event marknadsföring.Studien är baserad på en deduktiv ansats, där vi testat befintliga teorier mot vekligheten samt hur dessa kan tillämpas på event marknadsföring. Dessa teorier har vi integrerat med varandra för att ytterligare förstå eventets komponenter på ett sätt som vi tidigare inte sett inom forskningen.Den datainsamling som skett under studiens gång är baserad på en kvantitativ metod. En enkätundersökning har gjorts på besökare av events för att skapa bredd i studien.

AimThe purpose was to make researches into and illustrate how the leadership looks like at sporting event, concerning human communication.The following issues have been treated: What is characteristic for leadership during a sporting event? What does communication look like within the managerial? What kind of problems appears or can appear on account of defective communication at sporting event.MethodThe method being used is qualitative, based on interviews with three group leaders and one project leaders, all working for a summertime sporting event. As a form of basis a search for existing literature and articles on this subject were accomplished. The selection was made after having consulted a person of proportionately high station, active at the invested sporting event.ResultsAs a result of the essay, I have brought out, that leadership is different from group leaders and project leaders. Their difference in assignment demands different leadership, and that explains the occasion.

The purpose of this report is to study the risk of dust explosions at the candy manufacturing plant Leaf Sverige in Gävle, Sweden. The risk analysis was conducted with a preliminary hazard analysis, PHA and event trees. The analysis focuses only on the risk posed to employees and material damages at the plant. No third person injuries have been considered. Another purpose of this report is to study risk awareness and risk communication concerning dust explosions.

Service Design is a relatively new, unexplored and exciting phenomenon that through an interdisciplinary work methodology designs services. A discussion has been going on for a long time regarding whether there is a difference between products and services. Services are often classified as immaterial, heterogeneous, non-storable and inseparable in relation to products. A question that arises is if something specific characterises the work methodology used regarding service design. The aim with this paper is thus to explain the work methodology when working with service design.

This thesis examines art exhibitions, literature events and music events in public libraries in Sweden. The aim is to study which event occurs most in the libraries in Sweden. I also examine who takes responsibility for the events, who the libraries engage, how much the events cost, and how often the libraries have the events. I also study Swedish cultural politics in purpose to see if the libraries follow the aims and directions decided by the Swedish government. One aim of the Swedish culture politic is to give every citizen in Sweden the same possibility to experience culture, no matter where they live.

In visual programming the developer specifies her code, using visual tools. Within the range of visual programming languages lay icon-based languages, form-based languages, and diagram languages.Mediator is a multimedia authoring tool that allows the user to create interactive CD-ROM presentations, dynamic HTML pages and Flash projects, without any coding or scripting. The user can create interactivity in her project, using event driven and icon-based visual programming, through a ?drag and drop? user interface. This report intends to determine some of the qualifications of a tool of this kind, as well as its limitations.The report is based on a case study, in which a smaller software application was to be updated using Mediator 9.

Background:It is always fascinating to observe the events that affect the stock market, especially as the numbers of influencing factors are so many and various. Political elections are important events in society and affect the corporate environment in different ways depending on which political party that is in power. This brings up the question of whether political elections are important enough to affect the stock market; and it is this question we intend to analyse in this paper.Purpose:The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether political elections affect the stock market and to discuss the reasons for any possible affect that might be found.Procedure:An appropriate and thoroughly tested method to investigate if an event affects the stock market or not, is to do an event study. Subsequently we chose to do an event study on whether the Swedish general elections in 2002 and 2006 affected the Stockholm Stock Exchange. In order to give the analysis more depth we have also chosen to interview people with knowledge of the stock market.
