Syftet är att undersöka ifall det finns ett signifikant samband mellan matchresultat och rörelsen i ett fotbollslags aktiekurs. Uppsatsen ska även ge en ökad förståelse gällande skillnader i avvikande avkastning vid olika typer av motstånd och matcher. Uppsatsen är kvantitativ undersökning med deduktivt angreppssätt där avvikande avkastning studeras vid olika händelser med hjälp av diverse hypotesprövningar. Teorierna i uppsatsen behandlar aktievärdering, marknadseffektivitet samt aktieägarbeteende. Empirin presenteras i form av tabeller med avvikande avkastning och hypotesprovningar vid olika händelser.

The purpose with this studie was to examine how individuals with experience of a long-term drugabuse describe their transformationprocess, and if this process has contributed to a change in their selfdescription. The studie was delimit to examine the transformationprocess, not in relation to what sort of abuse the informants had, or in relation to gender. The studie anwered questions concerning motivation to stop abusing, how the informants started the drugcareer, and how life as an abuser is described. In the studie qualitative method was used, five semi-structured interviewes were made with individuals who had a long-term addiction in the past. Symbolic Interactionism was the theoretical frame of referense that was used for analyse.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur självskattad arbetstillfredsställelse kan prediceras av egenkontroll, arbetsledningsklimat, arbetsgemenskap, stimulans från arbetet samt arbetsbelastning. Syftet är även att se om resultatet påverkas av ålder, kön och anställningstid. Studien är genomförd på ett privat assistansbolag. Bakgrunden till valet av undersökningsområde har sin utgångspunkt i tidigare forskning som beskriver att de ovan nämnda variablerna har stor påverkan på den totala arbetstillfredsställelsen. Populationen i denna studie är personliga assistenter och urvalet består av 53 assistenter.

Den här uppsatsen tar fasta på begreppet hållbar utveckling och dess mångsidiga betydelse. Hållbar utveckling är en del av innehållet i den svenska grundskolans geografiundervisning och förmedlas till eleverna genom bland annat sponsrade och förlagsutgivna läromedel. Syfte med studien är att analysera diskurser om hållbar utveckling som de artikuleras av olika sociala aktörer i sponsrade och förlagsutgivna läromedel producerade för undervisning i ämnet geografi, årskurs 7-9.Uppsatsen rör sig mellan det läroplansteoretiska forskningsfältet och forskning om utbildning för hållbar utveckling. Uppsatsen utgår från tidigare forskning om miljöundervisning, läromedelsforskning, forskning om sponsring i skolan och motsättningar i forskningsdebatten om hållbar utveckling.Studien är en diskursanalys som tar sin utgångspunkt i Laclau och Mouffes diskursteori. Det analyserade materialet är fyra förlagsutgivna läroböcker i geografi för årskurs 7-9 samt fyra sponsrade läromedel som behandlar hållbar utveckling och är riktade mot geografiundervisningen i årskurs 7-9.

The main purpose of this study has been to explore and determine how the journalistic work was used by internet users to start and keep a discussion on the internet going.We started in the aftermath of a local arson in a town of Sweden, where a discussion on the internet forum Flashback and the local newspapers commentary fields was raised.We have used these discussions to study what part the journalistic work play in these events. To do that we used a critical discourse analysis and a rhetoric analysis to investigate how these discussions use news articles to make their point. We divided the comments into four different categories, which are comments about understandings of the event, comments that talked about the matters of fact, criticism pointed at the newspaper and comments that identify the offenders.The result of the analysis shows that both forums use journalistic work as facts in their discussions. Both also use earlier articles that were written before the arson, to make their point in the discussion..

Detta arbete är en studie över investeringsmöjligheten vid tävlingsfenomenet Window Dressing inför kvartalsskiftena. Studien bygger på analys av en tredagars långt event-fönster inför kvartalsskiftena mellan år 1996 och 2005 på den svenska aktiemarknaden. Window Dressing uppstår i prestationsbaserade sammanhang och är mest känd när börsföretag dagarna före sina finansiella kvartalsrapporter ror i land ytterligare affärstransaktioner i syfte att dra fördel av sista stundens nyupptäckta affärsmöjligheter. På samma sätt är det antaget att fonderna agerar, inom den egna strategins ram, genom aktiva köp och säljtransaktioner dagarna inför sina kvartalsvisa innehavsredovisningar, baserad på nyupptäckta möjligheter från exempelvis momentumeffekter. Fenomenet får sin acceptans från den betydande konkurrensen på fondmarknaden där fonderna tävlar om att uppvisa skicklighet i värdeskapande.

Syfte: Det vi vill åstadkomma med uppsatsen är att kartlägga de metoder som är mest lämpade för att mäta effekten av produktplacering i film. Relevanta aspekter att effektmäta är försäljning, ökad märkesmedvetenhet hos konsument, förstärkning av varumärke och förändring av företagets image. Vidare kommer vi att analysera och utvärdera vilken eller vilka metoder som ger bäst information på ovan nämnda områden. Metod: Vårt arbete bygger metodmässigt på att utföra intervjuer med produktplacerande företag, marknadsundersökningsföretag och mediekonsulter för att se hur utbredd produktplacering och effektmätning av denna är. Litteraturstudier är ett annat metodmässigt tillvägagångssätt där vi ser på exponering av produktplacering, varumärkes funktion, sponsringens relevans för produktplacering och hur man bäst effektmäter den.

In the year 1783 a fissure eruption from Laki in the southern part of Iceland produced a large amount of volcanic gases during a period of eight months. The volcanic gases and aerosols spread across the northern hem sphere due to ideal weather conditions and had a substantial impact on the environment, human health and also climate effects. This, so called dry fog, caused severe health problems, which led to death casualties, killing animals, crops and other vegetation. The consequence was a widespread famine which was aggravated by a hard and long winter in 1783/84. Analysis shows that the Icelandic volcanoes are the primary risk to produce dry fog that can affect Sweden.

Sveriges Radio stores their data in large archives which makes it hard to retrieve specific information. The sheer size of the archives makes retrieving information about a specific event difficult and causes a big problem. To solve this problem a more consistent use of metadata is needed. This resulted in an investigation about metadata and keyword genera-tion.The appointed task was to automatically generate keywords from transcribed radio shows. This included an investigation of which systems and algorithms that can be used to generate keywords, based on previous works.

Since events of September 11 and the subsequent conflicts surrounding the event, the war against terrorism has been constantly present. It has been used several methods and strategies to address these threats, including a method current in use, the targeting method. The method refers to use few but precise attacks to knock out key functions within these organizations, mostly individuals in the higher command and control structures within these organizations. The effectiveness of the method has been put in question when the majority of the terrorist organizations continue their strife, in some cases even increasing its intensity. The purpose of this study is to investigate which role the higher command plays in these organizations ability to wage war.

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to investigate how preschool teachers reflect on the phenomenon of conflict, and to find out what children think about this in relation to Nanny method. I referred to the following questions:? How to reflect pre-school teachers on conflict management at the preschool?? What methods / approaches tell teachers that they use in conflict management?? How the children reflect on their experiences on conflict management at the preschool?In the background, Im trying to define the word conflict, and I also point to the methods and models that are already in conflict management. It is clear that a key ingredient in the conflict is communication, the question is how well we communicate with each other?I've done interviews with three active educators and four children to study this subject.

Begreppet work ?life balance syftar till det arbete kring sponsring av förmåner och arbetssituationen som hjälper den anställde att balansera sitt arbetsliv och sitt privatliv. Då uppfattningen om vad som skapar balans är subjektiv, torde det från företagets sida vara viktigt att veta vad medarbetarna upplever, stödjer och hindrar upplevelsen av balans. Dessutom torde en klar bild över vad som stödjer och vad som hindrar, säkerställa en maximal avkastning av de satsningar som företaget ger personalen. Utifrån detta utformades studiens syfte, vilket var att öka förståelsen för vilka faktorer individer anser stödjer och hindrar upplevelsen av balans.

Introduction:During a crisis in the society, the communication from the responsible authorities is of big importance. This study shows how the authorities worked with their crisis communication towards the general public during the waterleak in Kalmar in december, 2010.Purpose:The purpose of this study is to investigate how the responsible authorities in Kalmar worked with their crisis communication during the waterleak and also how the general public perceived the crisis communication.Methodology:The study is based on a combination of a qualitative and a quantitative methodology. We begin to work with qualitative interviews with the responsible authorities to get information about the actual event and their work with the crisis communication towards the general public through the mass media. Then we investigate how the general public in Kalmar perceived the crisis communication from the responsible authorities and compare these two results.Conclusion:The study shows that there were several problems, both internally and externally, with the crisis communication from the responsible authorities during the waterleak. Although some people were dissatisified with the responsible authorities crisis communication, the majority were pleased and very satisfied with the information they got from the responsible authorities during the waterleak..

This comparative linguistic textstudy focuses on the relationship between a newspapers own outspoken political standpoint and it´s ambition of being an unbiased provider of objective information. This connection becomes particulary interestering in times of election when a newspapers role as provider of information is of great importance for the citizens. When a newspaper reports an event to the public, the reporter always has to choose from a small selection of possible linguistic forms when representing the story. Through linguistic analysis of these forms we can see that the final choice is often not a complete arbitrary one. We compared two daily newspapers, Dagens Nyheter and Dala-Demokraten, that stod on opposite sides in the Swedish EMU-elections 2003.
