Lärares upplevelser av en utbildning på vetenskaplig grund : Lärares upplevelser av en utbildning på vetenskaplig grund

This study examines the closure of public libraries, and the nonprofit organizations takeover of them as a phenomenon. The aim is to understand why the nonprofit takeover is common and what the takeover symbolizes and if the discourse in media invokes the views on libraries and the profession.Interviews were made with librarians, politicians and representatives of a nonprofit organization to study different sides of the phenomenon. Other empirical data were found in local and national newspapers and media-channels. I discovered that public libraries are highly valued by both politicians and the community. The study also showed that a library in a community makes people feel valued.

Syfte:Studiens syfte består i att belysa hur företagen som sponsrar ett idrottsevenemang anser att deras image kan påverkas och förändras via den ökade kommersialiseringen av idrotten. Metod:Studien bygger på en kvalitativ metod och det empiriska materialet samlades in via kvalitativa enkäter. Arbetets utgörs av en blandning mellan induktiv och deduktiv ansats. Teoretiska perspektiv:De huvudsakliga teorierna i studien utgörs av Jiffer & Ross (1999) A-ERIK modellen, Rushall & Barnes (2005) sju värdeskapande anledningar till ett sponsorsamarbete och Gwinners (1997) modell över image creation and image transfer in event sponsorship. Teorierna tillämpades för att undersöka hur en ökad kommersialisering av idrotten kan påverka företagens image.

In this paper we investigate whether power structures in organizations have an influence in the process that leads to burnout. We analyze if these power structures affect the individual?s health condition toward burnout in a way that leads to disability and subsequent absence from work. In the study, six persons who all have been unable to work due to burnout have been studied through qualitative, semi-structured interviews. The material have been coded with three different themes; leadership and hierarchy, responsibility and delegation of responsibility and performance and loyalty.

Religious congregations and social work have long been a neglected field of research. Although the number of studies have increased during the last twenty years. With a starting point in the situation in this field of research and in the current public debate in Sweden the focus of this study will be on how Christian and Muslim congregations view cooperating with the municipalities, organizations, the religious community to whom which the congregation belongs and how the congregations view cooperating with other religious communities. Qualitative method of research was used. Representatives of four religious congregations was interviewed; a deacon in a congregation in the Swedish Lutheran Church, a pastor in a congregation belonging to the Mission Covenent Church of Sweden, the chairman in a the board of a Muslim congregation and volunteerleader in another Muslim congregation.

Oväntade utdelningsförändringars påverkan på aktiekursen - Ett test av signaleringshypotesen på den svenska marknaden

Syfte: Föreliggande uppsats syftar till att studera hur oväntade utdelningsförändringar påverkar aktiekursen och därigenom testa signaleringshypotesen på den svenska marknaden. Metod: Vår studie baseras på en event-studiemetod. De händelser som studeras utgörs av att styrelsens förslag till utdelning kungörs. För varje händelse mäts den oväntade utdelningsförändringen och överavkastningen för bolagets aktie. Multipel lineär regressionsanalys används för att mäta sambandet mellan den oväntade utdelningsförändringen och överavkastningen.

The difference between the public sector and the private sector in Sweden was once very small. These sectors have been united as well for the people, the organizations as for the finances. During the 1960´s and 1970´s the public sector in Sweden was expanding and after the 1980´s the people started talking more about an expanding private sector instead. The motivation factor is used to describewhat makes people perform more than what is expected of them.The purpose of this study is to describe and explain similarities and differences in working- motivation between those how are members of Hökarängen Hemtjänst Ekonomisk Förening and those how are not.

The unemployment rate in Sweden is increasing even though there are more and more municipal activation policies established. The activation policies aim is to decrease the unemployment but that is not yet happening. This problem has led us to go through with this study.The aim of this study was, from an organizational perspective, to examine and describe how the interaction works between the Municipal Employment Services, Employment Office and Social Services in a Swedish medium sized municipality. Special focus was upon the legitimacy of the Municipal Employment Services.  This study was based on nine semi-structured interviews with managers and employers within the organizations in this study.

The aim of this study is to understand which strategies helped women escape honourbased violence, by reading the autobiographies of seven women. Honourbased violence is a relatively new problem in Sweden, but it has existed for a long time. According to FN (2012) 5000 women are murdered every year in the name of honour. Honourbased violence is about maintaining the honour of the family. Womens sexuality is connected to men´s honour, and because of that they are not allowed to express it.

Organizations that want to maintain a good innovation capability can seek knowledge both within and outside its boundaries. Opening up innovation processes, through so-called open innovation, allows organizations to combine internal and external knowledge sources in order to include previously excluded perspectives to the innovation process. This study examines how knowledge is created and transferred when conducting open innovation through crowdsourcing. It is done based on Nonaka?s (1991; 1994) theory of how knowledge is created through conversion processes, where implicit knowledge can be converted into explicit knowledge and vice versa.

Sociala medier ? strategier,möjligheter och risker

Social media, with its immense and continuous flow of information, has in recent years growntremendously in terms of users and content. This increase has led companies and organizations keen to be seen within these channels of communication, but do they always have a clear idea of how andwhy, and are they aware of the risks that are associated with it? Current research on social media is somewhat divided in two. The debate concerns, among other things, what value the information on social media has, and whether the media is really a good communication channel or not. This raises several questions, for example can a company really afford to remain outside of social media with allthe information it generates? This research aims at answering these questions in order to further understand how organizations discuss social media presence and strategies.

How the media noice looks today and how the customers choose with emotion and needs. Methodology:                      We used a deductive approach as a starting point and after that study five different companies in border of media, advertising and event. Empirical framework:         Based on theory have we study five companies, Starcom, Picnic kommunikation AB, Klassons Mediabyrå, 7billion and Hansens. All companies are in the border of media, advertising and event. Conclusions:                       The most important of our study of marketing is to proceed from the potential customers needs because the advertising is very individual. To catch the customers attention is new, fast and effective communication channels very important.

Är företagsförvärv lönsamt på lång sikt? - En studie av aktiekursutvecklingen till följd av uppköp på svenska börsen

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka ifall företag som gör uppköp genererar en avvikande avkastning för sina aktieägare på lång sikt och hur olika faktorer påverkar aktiekursens utveckling efter ett uppköp. För att undersöka detta genomför vi en kvantitativ studie över aktiekursutvecklingen till följd av uppköp under en treårsperiod. Vi studerar 32 företagsförvärv mellan 1992 och 1999. Företagens aktiekursutveckling analyseras med en event-study-metod, i vilken den aktuella kursutvecklingen jämförs med den förväntade. Vi finner att uppköp i genomsnitt ger en sämre avkastning jämfört med andra jämförbara företag, men resultatet är inte signifikant.
