The aim of this study is to investigate the problematisation of the swedish railwaysector during the early 1990?s from a New public management-perspective. The method of approach is a ?What is the problem represented to be?-analysis as advocated by Carol Bacchi. By applying this method to the official investigation aimed at providing suggestions for increasing competition in the railway sector it has been shown that the process of deregulation has strong connections to the ideas and models suggested by the New public management-ideology of organisational theory. .

Supply chain management involves all movement and storage of raw material, and all the processes that is needed to manufacture a product from origin to consumption. Globalization, technology and increasing time and quality-based competition are all driving forces behind the concept and reasons for an increasing interest in supply chain management.The purpose of this essay is to by using a qualitative case study examine which decisive success factors that can be identified for effective supply chain management. Purpose: The purpose is to describe and position risk management for Telecom operators, in comparison with the risk management literature, with regards to structure, processes, learning process, visions and benefits. Today there are commercially available databases with active features, i.e. active mechanisms are available for development of information systems. But the usage of active mechanisms is low in practice. This is due to the insufficient methodological support in analysis and design for developing ECA rule based software. It has been proposed that one of the most suitable ways to tackle this problem is not to develop new methods but to extend existing methodologies.In this thesis an extension of the Object Modeling Technique (OMT) is developed, called OMT-A, which is able to model active rules.

Jag har i detta examensprojekt gjort ett lustgårds-gestaltningsförslag som förhåller sig till ett reellt uppdrag.Uppdraget handlar om att formge Stockholms Stadsmuseums innergård som en samtida -men- sagolik lustgård under två veckor i juni.Innergården kommer att utgöra entrén och vara en förlängning av utställningen ?Stockholm hjärta Kärlek? som pågår inne på Stadsmuseet under samma tidsperiod. En utställning som belyser historiska kärleksberättelser i staden.Utställningen är en del av Stockholms Stads övriga eventsatsning Love 2010. Ett event som går under ledorden; festlig, öppen, delaktig, -ett event där man vill öppna upp staden för dess invånare och turister.Innergården ska fungera dels som en ?happening-oas? med ett antal fasta och tillfälliga aktiviteter, likaväl som ett kontemplativt rum med en ?scenografi sk gestaltning?.

The thesis and the product has beendeveloped in alliance with Faveo ProjectManagement with the shared goal to create a toolwhich is easy to use but still covers the essentialareas of project management theory. The tool willbe used internally by Faveo-employees as well asexternally together with Faveo?s clients in aneducational purpose.

The thesis has two aims to first describe the phenomena by explaining how interim management works and what the charachteristics of an interim manger are. The second aim is to look at the value issue of interim management; What value does an interim manager provide to a company and how do interim managers try to capture and cultivate this?The qualitative method has been used. The interim management market analysed in this thesis can be stated to consist of three parts; the interim manager as a provider of knowledge, a client firm in need of a temporary manager, and an interim agency in between working as an intermediary/supplier. The characteristics of interim managers are; they are in general self-employers and rather generalists than specialists, meaning they are experienced and have great knowledge skills.

Denna studie syftade till att finna svar hur verksamheter som genomför evenemangsprojekt arbetar med riskhantering och vilka sekundära effekter riskhanteringen kan leda till. Studien syftade även till att finna svar ifall evenemangsansvariga anser att riskhantering är lönsamt. Anledningen till att vi valt att studera detta ämne är för att evenemangsindustrin är en av de störst växande marknaderna. Evenemang av olika karaktär attraherar stora folkmängder och riskerna blir mer påtagliga desto fler människor som samlas på en och samma plats. Teori och tidigare forskning visar att alla evenemangsprojekt inte genomför en tillräcklig riskhantering, trots att riskerna är många och dess konsekvenser kan vara förödande.Vi har genomfört kvalitativa intervjuer med personer som arbetar med evenemangsprojekt för att få en uppfattning om hur de arbetar och ser på riskhantering.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka aktiemarknadens reaktion vid tillkännagivandet av optionsprogram till företagsledningen i företag noterade på Stockholmsbörsen. Vidare syftar uppsatsen till att undersöka om aktiemarknadens reaktion skiljer sig åt mellan olika tidsperioder, branscher, företag noterade på A- respektive Olistan samt mellan optionsprogram där olika typer av optioner används. I undersökningen används en eventstudie, där förväntad avkastning beräknas med hjälp av marknadsmodellen. Undersökningens event definieras som den första pressreleasen angående införandet av ett optionsprogram. En hypotes ställs upp och testas med ett signifikanstest för att undersöka om resultatet är statistiskt signifikant.
