A Swedish company, company F, will establish a new factory in China. Company F is adivision within Company F. The factory in China will manufacture wire products. Thepurpose of this final thesis is to analyse which legal and practical measures the company hasto undertake during the process of localization to get approval from the Chineseenvironmental legislation.An analysis of the influencing factors on the environment from the production in theconstruction in Sweden was carried through. A material-balance was analysed according tothe flowchart of the production.

The courts international juristiction within the European union is regulated by the Brussels I Regulation. Article 2.1 of the Brussels I Regulation contains the fundamental provision. According to this Article the plaintiff shall submit an action where the defandent is domiciled. The Regulation provides exemptions to the this provision in Article 2.1.The court of the international case can also be determined according to Article 5 (1) of the Brussels I Regulation. Denna kandidatuppsats är en fallstudie av webblösningar och specifikt kring ekonomiprogram. Studien omfattar en undersökning för att ta reda på orsakerna till att inte fler småföretagare går över till webbaserade lösningar, detta är idag högst aktuellt eftersom det blir allt mer populärt att arbeta i molnet. Molntjänster är ett relativt nytt sätt att arbeta på och det innebär stora förändringar för företagen samtidigt som de erbjuder fler möjligheter än tidigare. I och med den ökade betydelsen av molntjänster och dess arbetssätt har vi även undersökt vad det finns för fördelar med webblösningar med hjälp av befintliga användare. Syftet med uppsatsen är att lyfta fram vilka som är orsakerna till att inte fler använder webblösningar, samt vilka fördelar det finns.

The Swedish ostrich production started about thirteen years ago and still there are no Swedish recommendations regarding ostriches? space requirements. The European Council give recommendations and the Swedish Board of Agriculture (SJV) has a proposal, but so far the producers follow Danish regulations regarding space requirements. The Swedish Animal Welfare Agency are about to set standards for the ostriches? space requirements, and therefore the Swedish ostrich producers, together with The Federation of Swedish Farmers (LRF) ask for a scientific background to these decisions. This thesis is a preliminary study at the prospect of a future experiment on which factors important for ostriches? space requirements and welfare will be examined more thouroughly.

The task in this master thesis was to design and construct a prototype of a satellite antenna driver unit. The unit is to be robust and work in cold weather down to -40°C, so that it can be mounted on the roof of a minibus. A microcontroller controls the H-bridges simultaneous, each connected to an electrical motor. Hardware and software protections were implemented to ensure that the antenna can not turn outside its allowed area and risk breaking. The unit can output voltages at many different levels and communicate at a multitude of signal standards..

The purpose of this study was to investigate how media has followed the Parken Zoo incident and analyse how media convey the issue about the Parken Zoo incident. The different results have been compared. To answer the purpose of the study three issues has been formulated:  how do the different media relate to the ideal of objectivity? Who come across and get to speak in the different media? What differences and similarities are in the media?   The theories that have been used in this study are mainly McCombs theory of agenda setting, Strömbäck?s theory of framing and theory of media logic, Kovach & Rosenstiel theories of journalism and Manning?s theory of objectivity. The methods that have been used are a combination of a quantitative content analysis and a qualitative semiotic analysis.

In 1993 the internal market within the European Union was formed and ensured free movement of goods, services, capital and people. This led to the removal of trade barriers between members of the European Union. When opening up for competition, price differences between countries decreased and more jobs were created. A single currency was introduced by eleven countries in 1999 with the goal of reducing transaction costs, eliminating exchange rate risk and to further simplify trade. Background: Media has for a long time been reporting about the audit industry, often focusing on so-called auditing scandals. Economic journalism has grown stronger, the corporations are given more and more power in society and the public interest is increasing. We intend to examine how mass media affects the expectations gap and how the auditing firms operate strengthening the society?s confidence in the industry after mass medial exploitation. We also want to investigate whether the relatively new phenomenon social media is affecting the auditing firms and industry?s external communication, as well as what consequences negative publicity may have for the individual auditor.Aim: The aim of the study is to create an understanding of the audit industry?s relation to the media as well as to describe and analyze how mass media?s coverage is affecting the audit industry, auditing firms as well as the individual auditor.

Bakgrund och problem: IFRS 8, rörelsesegment, är ett resultat av det samarbetsprojekt som pågår mellan de två dominerande normsättarna på redovisningsområdet, International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) och Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). IASB offentliggjorde i november år 2006 IFRS 8 som ersatte IAS 14, segmentrapportering, för räkenskapsår från och med 1 januari år 2009. IFRS 8, har till skillnad från IAS 14 ledningsperspektiv på sin segmentrapportering i de finansiella rapporterna, vilket kan bidra till lägre jämförbarhet mellan företagen och högre relevans.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att identifiera skillnaderna mellan IAS 14 och IFRS 8 vad gäller antalet segment, mellan årsredovisningen för år 2008 och första kvartalsrapporten för år 2009. Syftet mer konkret, är att undersöka om företagen i studien har förändrat antalet segment samt om det påverkat jämförbarheten.Metod: Urvalet för studien är de 255 företag som var listade Stockholmsbörsens listor Large Cap, Mid Cap och Small Cap den 9e november 2009. Studiens är en jämförelse på företagens förändring i antal rapporterade segment mellan årsredovisningen år 2008 och första kvartalsrapporten för år 2009.Resultat och slutsatser: Författarna kan inte statistiskt säkerhetsställa att en förändring skett i antalet segment.

Agriculture, hunting andforestry have influenced virtually every ecosystem on the continent and formed what we todaythink of as the cultural landscape; a mosaic pattern of cropland, fields, pasture and forests. Thepast two centuries, globalization, industrialization and urbanization have come to pose a threatto the existence of these landscapes. European farmlands are now being abandoned at analarming rate, and the associated loss of landscape preservation, biodiversity and ecosystemservices is a concern to the scientific community and public alike.This thesis studies if the implementation of the relatively new conservation strategy rewilding(recreating self-sustaining ecosystems and reintroducing keystone species) can be a part of thesolution to preserve cultural landscapes and biodiversity in Sweden. Through interviewssupplemented with studies of published works, expertise from different fields has beencompiled to provide an overall picture of the capacity of rewildings as conservation method.

Examensarbetet beskriver hur det är möjligt att inrätta bostadsbebyggelse i ett sådant område utan att förstöra dess stora värden.
