This study has an integration policy direction as it focuses on the qualification for the new arrivals to quickly establish themselves in the labor market, and how the government's interventions, which in this case is the establishment reform, have affected municipalities and what its role is in this context. The purpose of the establishment reform is to faster the new arrivals integration in to the labor market. The aim of this study is to analyze the interaction factors that is affecting the integration of new arrivals into the labor market by study the professionals opinions on the interplay between involved organizations in two municipalities before and after the establishment reform. Studies have shown that the establishment reform has not achieved its goal and the purpose is to analyze the aspects behind this problem. The results of the study were analyzed with help of the interaction theory and the new institutional theory which is a part of the organization theory. An important aspect in the results of our study is the deficiency with the interaction between the participating organizations that obstruct the new arrivals path to becoming self-contained. In order to identify the problem, the study focuses on the co-operation among two communities in Sweden with the new arrivals way into the labor market.

Syftet med vårt examensarbete var att undersöka om vi med olika övningar och lekar kunde öka barns självförtroende att tala inför grupp genom en integration mellan ämnena idrott och svenska. Undersökningen genomfördes i år 5 i Luleå kommun under en sjuveckorsperiod. Eleverna fick i övningarna och lekarna träning i att exponera sig inför grupp. En tanke från oss när vi valde ut övningarna till undersöknngen var att de skulle kännas roliga och engagerande för att få en positiv effekt. Resultatet erhöll vi genom att dela ut en enkät i början och slutet av vår praktikperiod, samt genom iakttagelser i form av våra personliga loggböcker.

Denna studie avser att ge information och vägledning vid val av angreppssätt vid ett integrationsprojekt. Med angreppssätt avses facelift och convert som kan jämföras med Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) och Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Det är idag en avsaknad på material angående val av angreppssätt vilket kan försvåra för en organisation att veta hur de skall angripa ett integrationsprojekt. Att genomföra denna undersökning är steg mot att ge organisationer vägledning om hur de skall angripa ett integrationsprojekt och vad som är viktigt att tänka på. Denna studie tar hänsyn till att integrera antingen genom att integrera existerande system med hjälp av middleware (facelift) eller att byta ut de existerande systemen mot ett ERP-system (Convert).

Detta arbete är en intervjustudie med lärare och funktionshindrade elever på högstadiet samt gymnasiet. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka om och i så fall hur lärarna anpassar sin undervisning till förmån för integration av elever med fysiska funktionshinder. Ett ytterligare syfte är att undersöka hur de fysiskt funktionshindrade eleverna upplever sin situation i klassen och hur väl de anser att dessa anpassningar, om de existerar, fungerar. Jag har personligen intervjuat lärare och funktionshindrade elever för att få höra deras personliga erfarenheter och åsikter i frågan. Detta för att få en så tydlig bild som möjligt av deras situation.

Illegal logging and its related trade is of great concern around the world. The European Union Timber Regulation (EUTR) is a regulatory approach by the EU to prevent illegal timber and timber products to be placed on the European Union inner market. This means the regulation affects both actors in the member countries as well as the actors exporting timber and timber products to the EU from non EU member countries. This study aims to study the implementation process of the EUTR in Bosnia and Herzegovina (B-H), and its preconditions. Institutional theory is used to understand and explain how the EUTR affects B-H organisations? business environment, and how the organisations choose to respond to the EUTR.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the institutional effectiveness of the environmental institutions Helcom and the Mediterranean regime, by using Haas, Levy and Keohane's "the three Cs"; governmental concern, contractual environment, political and administrative capacity. The method used is a comparative analysis.This study takes into consideration the specific structural and economic factors that are prevailing in each region where the environmental regime operates. This study also takes into account the influence of the European Union as a factor that affects the environmental progress.By focusing the study on the line of conduct concerning hazardous substances by respectively regime this study shows that the institutional effectiveness is fulfilled in neither Helcom nor the Mediterranean Regime, although Helcom has been more successful. The lack of state capacity is the most restraining factor for both developing countries and countries in the transition towards being developed, to achieve a good environmental status of the sea. This study also shows that the European Union sometimes has a greater impact on the environmental progress in states, rather than the environmental regime in countries that were/are aspiring members, thus showing the ineffectiveness of the regime..

Sex equality law within the European Union is well developed and has since the Rome Treaty, given rise to several directives and other judicial acts on this matter of community law. The concepts of direct and indirect discrimination emerge from the general principles of Equal pay and Equal treatment and have been codified and amended several times until present.The lasts years, authors within the field of Equality Law has been pointing out that there is a common desire for simplification of discrimination law in Europe. The question has arisen whether this simplification could be implemented trough the introduction of a general justification defence for direct sex discrimination.The concept of direct sex discrimination - when a person of one gender is treated less favourably, on the grounds of gender, than a person of the other gender would be treated in similar circumstances - leaves no possibilities for such justification today. Indirect sex discrimination ? which arises from the equal application of neutral rules that shows an adverse impact on one group ? can be justified if the rule answers to true requirements of the job.Does the proposition that direct discrimination should be justified find support in the inconsistency of the present legislation? This paper will examine this and other questions concerning the wish for a general justification defence through studies of case law from the European Court of Justice as well as differing opinions from authors within the field of equality law..

I dagens allt mer komplexa företagsklimat har vikten av en integrerad Supply Chain blivit allt viktigare vilket bidragit till ökat behov av integrationen inom och mellan företag. För ökad integration inom Supply Chain kan automatiserad informationsdelning användas och ett vanligt förekommande informationsdelningssystem är Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) som integrerar två företagspartners affärssystem med varandra. Den automatiska informationsdelningen bidrar bland annat till reducerad manuell administrering, minskade transaktionskostnader och mer korrekt informationsdelning mellan företag. Medelstora företag har en avgörande och viktig funktion inom dagens ekonomi, inte minst på grund av de arbetstillfällen medelstora företag genererar utan även deras betydelse för företagsutvecklingen inom Sverige. Vi har funnit medelstora företag intressanta att undersöka på grund av deras betydelse inom samhället och har i denna studie undersökt på vilka grunder svenska medelstora tillverkningsföretag inom B2B väljer att implementera EDI för ökad integration inom Supply Chain.

Denna studie syftar till att integrera lämpliga funktioner och koncept typiska för sociala nätverkssidor i ett kommunikationsverktyg med avsikt att förenkla och stödja kommunikation mellan kollegor i team och projekt.  Designprocessen bestod av tre faser. I fas ett avgjordes genom en Pugh-matris vilka funktioner och koncept som hade störst potential för integration. I fas två integrerades dessa i en digital prototyp av det redan existerande kommunikationsverktyget Briteback. I fas tre identifierades användbarhetsproblem hos den framtagna prototypen.

Uppsatsen tar upp möjligheter och perspektiv på hinder som ungdomar med invandrarbakgrund erfar vid arbetssökning. Forskning visar att ungdomar med invandrarbakgrund diskrimineras i jämförelse med inrikesfödda ungdomar. Vi har djupintervjuat åtta ungdomar, som har erfarenhet av att vara arbetssökande, i en stad i Mellansverige för att få ökad kunskap och förståelse inom detta problemområde. Teoretisk utgångspunkt var Bourdieus begrepp om ekonomiskt, socialt, kulturellt och symboliskt kapital, därefter positionering i det sociala rummet och habitus. Kvalitativ metod användes med hermeneutik som angreppssätt.

Regional European Offices with the purpose to represent regions and municipalities in the EU-system have had a substantial expansion over the last years. One example is the North Sweden European Office for the counties of Norrbotten and Västerbotten, consisting of seven different headmen who are representing both the private sector as well as the public system. This diverse leadership representation makes North Sweden a very good example on a so called Quango, organisations that stand under simultaneous influence from both public and private sectors. These Quangos opens up new possibilities to solve public problems, but they also bring together two different working models which is not always easy to handle for a Quango. According to earlier surveys some characteristic Quango problems within North Sweden exist, for example the ability to prioritize and thereby be as effective as possible.

The aim of the study is to show how a selected part of the European Language Portfolio, ELP, can support the assessment process for teachers. All the checklists at level A1 and My Language Goals from the Language Biography, a part of the ELP, are implemented and communicated in teaching in a 4th grade class of students. Two teachers are interviewed and both of their classes are compared in the study. One group worked for two weeks with the selected part of the Language Portfolio and the second group followed the regular curriculum for the same period of time. The teachers are interviewed before and after the ELP through support of mind maps.Results show that by using checklists at level A1 and My Language Goals students become aware of their own learning process.

The integration of the Internet in our society has shaped alot of the things we do in our lives. The Web allows us to achieve certain things directly through our computers, such as reading the paper and paying our bills. But this integration has also lead to another interesting change. Activists have begun to unload their operations onto the Net instead of holding on to the more traditional demonstrations performed in squares. This study aims to look into the world of cyberactivism and examine how cyberactivists experience the way activism has changed as a result of using the Internet.

Career counselors in schools have for a long time reported a feeling that their work is not as important as teachers work. According to the Swedish Curriculum for the compulsory schools, all staff is responsible for viable counseling for pupils. Therefore, this study focuses on teachers, headmasters and a school executive director view of school career counseling, how they experience the fulfillment of curriculum goals and how it interferes/interacts with their work. To analyze the empirical material we collected from interviews, we used theoretical terms of organizational theory with focus on social structures, differentiation and integration. We also used the career theory of Super.

För att ringa in problemen utgår vi från följande frågeställningar: Vilka styrdokument ligger till grund för undervisningen i religion? Hur främjar religionsundervisningen tolerans och förståelse över de etniska och religiösa grupperna? Utifrån dessa områden formulerade vi sedan de frågor som vi använde vid intervjuerna.Metoden vi använde oss av var öppenriktad intervju. Sedan vi analyserat intervjusvaren kom vi fram till resultatet. I vår undersökning sökte vi efter problem kopplade till religion i skolan, till vår förvåning uppfattade ingen av respondenterna några sådana i sin religionsundervisning. Vi har därför lyft fram de problem som vi uppfattade att skolorna hade, men som de inte själva såg, i vår diskussionsdel.
