Avgränsning av kommunikationen gjordes till de tre valfilmerna som gjorts inför riksdagsvalen 2010 och 2014. Analysen redogör för hur olika element, retoriska och semiotiska, samverkar för att konstruera ett budskap, både implicit och explicit, för att övertyga.

The current debate about environment and climate change has contributed to more andmore investment in alternative energy sources such as wind, solar and biogas. The Swedish Parliament has set the target that wind power should supply 10 TWh in 2015.In Sweden, wind power establishment began in the early 1980s. Since then the development has gained a tremendous momentum. The purpose of this study was to find out what problems wind power brings and what power relations that exists in connection with wind power establishment and how the landscape is affected by windpower construction, focusing on some cases in Falkenberg and Varberg. This study shows that wind power establishment is a very complicated process.

This study describes how a larger investment by a private company in the northern interior can affect a municipality?s economy. The mobility to the municipality is expected to increase and some of the direct and indirect effects that this investment can implicate on their economy are discussed. The method for this study is qualitative. Interviews have been made with the initiative owner of the company LHG Learning Center and with civil servants in the municipality of Lycksele. The conclusions drawn in this study are that the establishment of LHG Learning Centers in Lycksele will include both opportunities and risks for the municipality?s future.

Ett av huvudmålen med års- och hållbarhetsredovisningar har tidigare konstaterats vara att skapa förtroende för och att legitimera ett företags handlingar. Vid studier av redovisning utifrån ett retoriskt perspektiv blir därför ethosbegreppet särskilt intressant. Denna uppsats behandlar användandet av förtroendeskapande medel med särskilt fokus på ethosargumentation. Uppsatsen bygger vidare på tidigare forskning inom legitimitetsskapande och retorisk kommunikation i års- och hållbarhetsredovisning. VD-ord i fem hållbarhetsredovisningar från svenska företag framgångsrika inom CSR studeras och argumenten kodas med teoretisk utgångspunkt i Aristoteles strategier för skapandet av förtroende (uppfyllandet av ethos), fronesis, arete och eunoia.

This thesis is built on a field study that was carried out in two seed-tree stands near by Götbrunna in Uppland, Sweden. The aim was to examine if scarification carried out in spring time could generate a more dense seedling establishment when using natural generation, than scarification carried out in autumn. It was also investigated whether there were differences in mortality the first season between the two plot-types. Plots were established block-wise with 50 blocks (pairs) on each site. The spring scarification was made with a hoe during 22-23 of April.

SYFTE Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur föreningen Stockholm Pride kommunicerade efter pridefestivalen 2011. Festivalen gjorde ekonomisk förlust och föreningen kunde inte betala alla sina räkningar. (Enligt årsbokslutet gick man back med 3,9 miljoner kronor.) Man kan tänka sig att en sådan situation hotar förtroendet för Stockholm Pride hos festivalens besökare, volontärer, sponsorer, artister, olika aktörer och intressenter. Frågan hur man försöker återvinna förtroendet blir intressant. Hur kommunicerar Stockholm Pride? Hur försöker Stockholm Pride återskapa förtroende?TEORI Att återskapa förtroende är centralt för en organisation i kris.

On the 12:th of April 2011, the Swedish tabloid magazine Expressen publishes a story, claiming that Ola Lindholm, presenter of critically acclaimed TV-show ?Wild Kids? has been suspected and apprehended on cocaine allegations. The serious allegation called for Ola Lindholm to defend himself against the allegations. His only public response was a blog-post where he claimed his innocence, albeit with some reservations.  The purpose of this paper is to analyze Lindholm?s rhetorical defense.

Today cultivation of cereal in Sweden has high costs for establishment in relation to the rest of the world, and if this cultivation will be able to continue, the farmers have to control their costs. It is important to see all costs, not the maximum harvest achieved, but the net result. All farmers have different conditions with respect to soil, direction of the farm and were the farm is located geographically. With the right knowledge and ambitions, we think most farmers could change to reduced tillage. In this paper we have tried to find out if reduced tillage is an alternative for farmers.

Inför mitt examensarbete tog jag kontakt med Världskulturmuseerna. Det visade sig att Medelhavsmuseet höll på att förbereda för en ny utställning om det forntida Egyp­ten. Jag träffade intendent Sofia Häggman och utställningsproducent Elna Nord och vi kom fram till att ett spännande projekt för ett examensarbete skulle vara att under­söka hur bilder skulle kunna användas i utställningen för att berätta om förhistorien i området kring Nilen. En stor utmaning i detta låg i att all information om den här perioden är så pass osäker. Genom litteraturstudier, kontextanalys och analys av informat­ionsmaterial tog jag fram en idé på hur detta skulle kunna gestaltas med en kombination av bild och ord.

Based on the concept of rhetorical situation, the purpose of this study is to compare and describe the three Socialist leader's May Day speech from the years 1954, 1978 and 2011. The results of the analysis showed that there is a big difference in how the leaders chooses to appeal to the rhetorical audience. Erlander, 1954, never appealed directly to his audience which Palme, 1978, did both initially as repeatedly throughout his speech. Juholt, 2011, has a personal and frequent appeal which is repeated throughout his speech, which is interpreted as a sign of the intimization of the public language. It proved difficult to discuss the Socialist rhetoric as one unified form.

In this Bachelor thesis I am going to look at attitudes towards political violence in a small town in Sweden in the 1920s. The town I have picked for this study is Kalmar situated on the east coast of Sweden. This study is a micro historic case study. The specific case is a strike at the city?s water and gas plants for higher salary.

Ethos har inom retoriken alltid haft en stark aristotelisk prägel, ett arv sprunget ur hur talares karaktär framhölls i rättegångar i antikens Grekland. Eftersom retorikens uttryck och användningsområden har utvecklats enormt sedan dess, inte minst inom den politiska retoriken, finns en risk att vi idag begränsas av den uppfattning av ethos beståndsdelar som lever kvar efter Aristoteles. Genom att enbart se till vad som kan ses som god moral, sunt förnuft och välvilja hos talaren kan vi missa viktiga kontextuella faktorer som talaren kan använda sig av i sitt ethosbyggande, speciellt inom politisk retorik: exempelvis det ämbete som personen besitter, de regler och normer som omger situationen eller partiets värderingar och traditioner. Alla dessa är faktorer som en politiker ofta använder sig av för att inge förtroende för sig själv som politiker idag, vilka en aristotelisk ethosanalys inte ger utrymme för. I denna uppsats prövas, med den teoretiska inspirationen från Kenneth Burkes ?terministic screens?, sociologen Max Webers tre legitimitetstyper på begreppet ethos, vilka sedan appliceras på den socialdemokratiska retoriken, i hopp om att kunna bidra till utvecklingen av ethosbegreppet.

This is a 15 hp (10 p) thesis in biology at the programme for Horticulture Management at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Alnarp. In this literature study we have processed, reviewed and arranged facts and research, to make it more available for those who want to know more about establishment or cultivation of mosses. Our client is Fredriksdal?s Museums and Gardens in Helsingborg who are planning to establish a moss garden. The information is meant to be used by Fredriksdal and other similar facilities.

Crisis communication can make a crisis turn into a double crisis. The purpose of the thesis is to analyze by which rhetorical means a double crisis can occur. With the Swedish zoo Parken Zoo as a specific example, this essay examines the crisis communication during the crises that started with the tv-show Kalla fakta. The tv-show revealed that Parken Zoo killed and slaughtered endangered and sacred animals. When asked about the specific animals, the head of the zoo gave different answers ? which contrasted with former employees testimony.
