Berättelsen om Ann : etik i Stig Larssons roman Nyår
The aim of this study is to examine if Kenneth, a character in the novel Nyår by Stig Larsson, takes his ethical responsibility for one of the characters that appears in one section of the book, Ann. Nyår has often been related to morality. This study shows that Levinas philosophy of ethics is a supplement to the discussion of morality. According to Levinas, a person that acts in a non-moral way still can act in a righteous ethical way. With this starting point, it is possible to be close to the text and to bring out new perspectives on the novel.

The subject was investigated from different perspectives: gender, product type and information type. The authors used a quantitative approach, and a survey (n=120) was conducted. It was concluded that men and women are equally influenced by traditional word-of-mouth, but more men than women search for product information online and they are more likely to let their purchase decision to be influenced by it. Köpbeteende på mogna konsumentmarknader : ? En studie av generationerna Y samt 55 plus
A segmented market, according to traditional methods, appears increasingly difficult in mature consumer markets. A common explanation is that the mature markets are often characterised by over-supply which results in a great variety of choices for the consumer. Furthermore, the consumer of today has a more complex and flexible purchase behaviour which is difficult to catch. This makes consumer segmentation difficult. International studies indicate that dividing consumers into generation cohorts might be advantageous in understanding consumers of today.
Konsumentens dilemma : ekologiskt eller konventionellt?
A majority of Swedish consumers have a positive attitude towards organic production and the
number of organic products on the market is increasing. Despite these positive trends, there
are still relatively few consumers who choose to buy organic produced products. According to
statistics, only 3% of the total sales of food consist of organic products.
The aim with this essay is to understand what is needed, both from the grocery store and the
consumer's point of view, to increase the consumption of organic food.
Information has been collected partly through questionnaire with consumers and partly
through analysis of sales statistics for a selected numbers of products. Then the empirical
material have been analysed in the light of a combination of the Behavioural Perspective
Model (Foxell, 1997) and Kotler's Four P:s (Kotler, 2002).
Consumer's willingness to buy organic products is influenced by a number of different
factors. One important thing is if the grocery store offers a behaviour setting that stimulates
the consumers positive attitude and facilitates their possibilities to collect new information.
Furthermore, the store needs to offer a broad and well-visualised selection of organic
products.
Konsumentbeteende vid köp av färsk fisk : en kvalitativ studie för utveckling av ett produktkoncept hos ICA
Health and convenience trends dominate the food industry and retailing business of today.
The health consciousness is spreading while appealing product attributes concerning taste and
packaging also are increasingly important. At the same time, the competition is growing fierce
in the Swedish market with hard discount formats and niche concepts who also are trying to
provide the market with perishables. Therefore, the pressure to lower prices is increasing
making economies of scale and rationalization progressively more important.
In 2004, ICA launched private label meat packaged in a modified atmosphere. Consequently,
many stores went from in-store cutting-up and packaging to selling centrally packaged and
distributed meat. ICA is now developing a concept with fresh fish in modified atmosphere
packages and needs to increase the knowledge about the market and the consumer.
Etisk medvetenhet i systemutveckling. En fallstudie av systemutvecklarens ansvar i systemutvecklingsprojekt
Many professions, such as doctors and psychologists, have a long history of work practice which have resulted that these professions have created their own ethical guidelines. The IT profession, which can be viewed as a relative young and somewhat immature profession, have yet to accommodate any clear guidelines regarding ethics. It?s therefore imperative to create discussions regarding ethical actions to raise the ethical awareness and also create ethical guidelines. The development of the IT profession is moving forward at a quick pace and it?s important to understand that this rapid advancement is not only changing the profession but also changing the society and the environment.
Co-creational Effects: En studie i betydelsen av varumärkets styrka
Consumer involvement in the product development process, co-creation, is being practiced by numerous companies. Previous research has investigated how consumer participation in co-creation affects consumer attitude. However, little is known about how co-creation affects the attitudes of the observervers of co-creation. The effect of observed co-creation on consumer attitude should be important when deciding whether to apply co-creation or not, as the observing consumers make up a larger part of the consumer collective than the participating consumers do. The paper at hand aims to investigate how observed co-creation affects consumer attitude and purchase intentions.

Varför betala?: En uppsats om varför vissa betalar för musik och andra inte
The end of the 20th century brought a dramatic change to the music industry. The then predominant models for music consumption and sales were forever altered when the possibility to distribute music over the internet emerged. It has now become evident that it is virtually impossible to stop the distribution of digital music files. Music has turned into a non-excludable and non-rival product, which in economic terms is described as a public good. Public goods theory serves as a starting point for this study, which explores some of the factors that might explain why some consumers pay for music, while others choose to download music illegally.
Är etiska fondinvesteringar försvarbara : vad kostar etik?
Recently, the selections of ethical funds are increased; at the same time investors with social and moral preferences have increased in the capital market. There are currently debates on whether ethical funds perform better or worse than funds without ethical criteria. This also involves a vivid discussion on whether investors know about the consequences of investing in ethical funds. Therefore, this study involves theories about the rationality and decision theory, in addition to what mainly control the investment decisions. The study also discusses portfolio theory since this is one of the underlying theories behind fund management and its development. The purpose of this study is to explain if ethical limitations in the selection of securities affect risk and return in the fund portfolio.
Skillnader i konsumentbeteende mellan försäljningskanaler
In todays' society e-commerce is growing at a rapid speed. 4,6 % of all retail sales on the Swedish market are done on the Internet. In the makeup category, which will be the category of focus in this study, 9 % of all the sales were done on the Internet during the last quarter of 2011. As it is today many suppliers do not have enough knowledge about e-commerce and instead of focusing on the development of the channel the focus should instead be on the development of the users of the channel. The purpose of this study is to understand the buying process with respect to the existing theories. The focus will be on the two stages information search and evaluation of alternatives.
Etik på bibliotek : en kvalitativ studie av ett antal folkbibliotekaries yrkesetiska tankar och erfarenheter
The theme of this thesis is the professional ethics of public librarians. Qualitative interviews have been conducted with fourteen public librarians, with the aim to investigate their thoughts·and opinions concerning professional ethics and their experiences of ethical dilemmas in professional situations. The result shows that the majority of the librarians often discuss problems concerning what's right or wrong but that the discussions are conducted on the basis of practical situations and not in terms of professional ethics. The majority have vague ideas of how the term professional ethics should be applied on the work of public librarians, though all the interviewees consider the professional ethical discussion to be important. We examine the librarians opinions and experiences of ethical dilemmas conceming four subject areas: the principle of the librarian as a neutral and nonrestricting information intermediary, the principle of equal treatment of all the library visitors, difficulties. concerning media selection and the problems based upon the librarians flexibility towards the intemal rules of the library. The librarians experienced the behaviour towards the visitors as the greatest problem.
Konsumentinformation i förändring - Samarbete mellan Stockholms kommunala konsumentvägledning och Stockholms stadsbibliotek
Voluntary organisations provided the first consumer guidance in Sweden. The government'sinterest in the question started during the second world war and has ever since increased.Since the 1970's the local authorities, with support from the community, have played animportant roll in consumer policy work. Due to the economic recession of recent years theappropriation to consumer guidance work has been cut down. The work has been rationalisedand libraries have more frequently been used to spread consumer information. In Stockholm the municipal has been responsible for local consumer information since the1940's. Co-operation with the library of Stockholm has occurred in different forms.
