Utvärdering av en subjektiv metod för att skatta mängden trädbiomassa längs vägkanter :
Forest biomass is becoming an increasingly important source of renewable energy, and thereby the demand is increasing. There is currently 213 000 km of forest roads in Sweden that could be suitable for biomass harvesting. Harvest of biomass along forest roads both provides biomass and maintains the quality of the roads. Currently, the volume of biomass along roads can only be assessed post harvest, chipping and industry deliverance.
As the decision of whether or not to harvest should preferably be based on more than experience, the TJ-method has been proposed. The TJ-method is a subjective method to quickly determine the dry matter quantity with the assessment being conducted from the roadside.

Dessa strategier och metoder skiljer sig mer eller mindre åt och många gånger har företag egna metoder för tidsuppskattning. Dessa strategier och metoder har samma syfte, vilket är att göra så noggranna tidsuppskattningar som möjligt för att undvika försenade projekt. Examensarbetets syfte är att visa på hur LexiConsult AB kan förbättra sina tidsuppskattningar av inkommande IT-projekt genom att följa studiens rekommendationer, vilket leder till bättre tidsuppskattningar och nöjdare kunder. Undersökningen har utförts genom en litteraturstudie, där genomgång av de olika delarna inom IT-projekt skett.

Roughly 130 000 dwellings have been officially registered since Norway as of summer 2009 passed their bill ?Energimerkeforskriften? on energy performance certificates in buildings. The main objective is to decrease the total amount of national energy consumption by producing a methodology of calculation of the integrated energy performance of buildings as well as proposing cost effective measures to lower each building?s energy consumption. As the measures should not contravene nor be incompatible with the intended quality and character of the building, the ?Energimerkeforskriften? exempts buildings that due to their historical and cultural values are protected cultural heritage legislation. The current system offers a couple of professional certification alternatives, but when two online semi-automatic methods developed specifically for non-professionals are by far the most used, and since the methods of calculation primarily have focused on modern building materials and construction, the rest of the historical building stock stands literally unprotected by incorrect performance certificates and high-risk energy efficient measures. The objective of this thesis is to identify if the current Norwegian energy certificate system poses a threat to older buildings.

The moisture content in 10 deliveries of tree parts and 10 deliveries of wood residues were measured with different methods to analyze the quality of procedure used at Dåvamyran today. At the same time a survey was made on the measure procedures used at heating plants in Sweden
The majority of the heating plants in Sweden use weight and moisture content as base for payment but at some plants only volume. The moisture content is usually estimated by drying wood chips in an oven but few plants a visual Estimation is used. At few plants moisture content is estimated spectroscopicily. The techniques using near infra read light and other electromagnetic are still at a test stage.
The methods of measurement used today are quit unreliable for the individual deliveries and there is a risk for systematic mistakes.
Bedömning av ögats ackommodativa respons- en jämförelse mellan aberrometri och dynamisk retinoskopi
Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka om det finns några skillnader i den ackommodativa responsen när den fastställs med tre olika mätmetoder. De utvalda metoderna för denna studie var dynamisk retinoskopi i form av Nott och Monocular Estimation Method (MEM) samt en COAS-HD VR aberrometer.Metod: 29 personer (7 män och 22 kvinnor) deltog i studien, vars medelålder var 23,6 ± 3,1 år. På varje enskild patient gjordes en subjektiv refraktion med en efterföljande mätning av dess ackommodativa respons med tre olika mätmetoder på ett 40 centimeters arbetsavstånd. Resultaten av studien analyserades med hjälp av Repeated Measures-ANOVA och ett post-hoc test i form av Sidak´s. Överensstämmelsen mellan metoderna redovisades därefter visuellt i form av ett Bland-Altman plot.Resultat: Det visade sig att alla tre metoder gav liknande värden på den ackommodativa responsen, vilket resulterade i att det inte fanns en statistiskt signifikant skillnad mellan metoderna (p = 0,1103) enligt Repeated Measures-ANOVA.

A trading halt is a measure conducted by a securities exchange in order to reduce information imbalances between market participants, thus enabling a higher level of market efficiency. A market is said to be efficient when new information concerning a company is instantly reflected in its stock price, implying that abnormal stock returns cannot be systematically achieved in an efficient market. The purpose of this study is to examine the occurrence of abnormal stock returns following trading halts on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. The study is based on a sample of 64 trading halts executed between January 2003 and February 2008. Historical daily prices for stocks subject to trading halts during the period have been gathered from the Datastream Advance database, while information on date and time of trading halts have been collected from the Stockholm Stock Exchange website.

The system is really comfortable when the car owner is using the remote.A problem arises if a thief gets the remote.The thief doesn?t have to know where the car is parked, an approximate Estimation where thecar is parked is enough.For instance, it?s enough to know which car park the car is parked in. If the thief knows that,he/she can repeatedly activate the remote control while looking for a car indicating with lightsand sounds.Because of the fact that a car usually indicates that it has been unlocked by making a shortsound indication, there will be no problem finding the car.The purpose with this project is to make a prototype which makes it harder for a thief to findthe car.

Stockholm is growing with almost two fully loaded SL-buses a day. One of the consequences that derive from this is the increase of public transport travelers who put the regionally governed public transport up to the test in terms of its capacity. The Transport administration in Stockholm County initiated 2015 a project with the purpose of simplifying the calculation of bus stop capacities. A hypothesis (set up by the Transport administration) based on that a model for calculation of bus stop capacities could be calibrated for Stockholm conditions is being researched in this bachelor?s essay.The study is implemented by self-collected traffic data from bus stops located in the Stockholm city center.

The same year Nordea Bank released a report which described an increased interest in private finances among 2,4 million Swedes. Within the area of private finances lies that which concerns real estate. We argue that a house (detached house) is one of the most financially valuable assets a person will ever own and thus the increased interest in private finance is justified.In regard to this, the financial valuation of the property becomes an issue. When discussed, people mostly refer to the market value, which is the estimated value of the property on the open market.
