Miljökontoret på Kiruna Kommun använder sig av ett program "Miljöreda 9000", med en tilläggsmodul, MiljöReda Mät. Denna gör det möjligt att registrera mätdata, t.ex. vatten och sedimentprover tagna i olika sjöar för att sedan med dessa som grund skapa en rapport som sedan kan föras över till andra programvaror som Excel och ArcView. Resultatet av examensarbetet blev en applikation där man på ett enkelt sätt kan arbeta med provresultaten i ArcView, skapa diagram och göra statistik och analyser. Det är också möjligt att presentera resultatet med en karta som bakgrund.

Mindre företag i Sverige använder även i dag äldre DOS-baserade (Disk Operating System) program för att hantera sina administrationsbehov. I takt med övergången till fönsterbaserade applikationer har även behovet av hanteringen av övergången ökat. I detta examensarbete har företaget ifråga haft behov av en uppdatering av dess befintliga DOS-baserade administrationsprogram. Uppgiften har varit att ta fram ett motsvarande Windows-baserat administrationsprogram med stöd för alla de funktioner som det ursprungliga programmet hade men med utökad funktionalitet. För att lösa denna uppgift har första steget i samråd med företagets representant varit att analysera hur användarna använder det befintliga systemet för att ta reda på de funktioner som behövdes för att skapa ett väl fungerande program.

Denna uppsats undersöker hur trumsoundet förändrades inom produktionen avpop- och rockmusik från 60-tal till 80-tal och sambandet med förändringar iinspelningsteknik. Uppsatsen syftar även till att tydliggöra hur dagens diskurs omsound har växt fram och hur sound har blivit ett estetiskt verktyg och enkonsumtionsvara. Metoden som har använts är lyssningsbaserad analys ochjämförelser av inspelningar från respektive decennium, samt att resonemang ochresultat i uppsatsen har återknutits till tidigare forskning om sound. Resultatet avanalysen visar att inspelningstekniken har haft en avgörande betydelse för hurtrumsoundet inom berörda populärmusikaliska genreområden har förändrats och dessmöjligheter och förutsättningar satte soundskapande fokus på rummet under 60-talet,instrumentet under 70-talet och effekterna under 80-talet. Undersökningen har visatatt sound på 60-talet relaterades till helhet, plats och person och senare till tekniskbearbetning av enskilda element i ljudbilden.

AbstractPurpose: The purpose of this study was to see if there was any correlation between BMI and chronic pain among participants who underwent a behavioural medicine rehabilitation program at a pain clinic in the central part of Sweden. Method: The study was conducted as a quantitative descriptive study context and has used medical records with documented data from the participants who were part of a pain clinic rehabilitation programs in the years 2004-2005. Altogether there were 76 participants in these years and excluded was nine participants with BMI measurements were not included in the documentation. Main Results: Regarding the relationship between BMI and chronic pain there was no significant relationships. Participants who completed the behavioural medicine rehabilitation program, however, showed a lower value of BMI and the estimated pain in VAS from the first to the third which is the last time of measuring.

AimThe aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of MotVikt´s obesity-treatment program on eight severely obese subjects, concerning Body Mass Index, Waist-Circumference and Weight after three and a half months and Sense of Coherence, Body Image and Self-experienced Health after three months. The question in focus was: Did MotVikt´s obesity-treatment program have any effects concerning the factors mentioned above?MetodInformation was collected with questionnaires that were filled out by the eight subjects, three men and five women, who participated in MotVikt´s last round of treatment. Data concerning waist-circumference, weight and BMI were provided by MotVikt. The questionnaires that were used to get information about Sense of Coherence, Body Image and Self-Experienced health were SOC-29, BSQ and IQOLA SF-36.ResultatThe average BMI in the group has decreased with 2,9 kg/m2, from 39,7 till 36,8.

Several reports and scientific research have shown that unemployment affectshealth negatively and that it is the young unemployed who suffer the most. Despitethis, there were not many evaluated labour market programs for young peoplefocusing both on how the labour market programs affect the job status and health,most of them were only focused on job status. Since there were not manycompilations in that direction, the essay is intended to describe the variousprograms and their impact on both job status and health. A literature-based studyhas been conducted and 15 articles have been reviewed and compiled into variouscategories using a content analysis. It turned out that the majority of the mostcommon labour market programs were represented in the scientific literature.There was also a new genre that is not mentioned in previous reports, cognitivebehavioral therapy (CBT), which proved to be one of the most successful programs.Michigan Prevention Research Center (MPRC) job search programs also showedsome positive results.

Studien tog sin början genom ett uppdrag från festivalledningen för Piteå Dansar och Ler. Uppdraget bestod i att uppmärksamma brister i festivalområdets områdesdesign. Under uppdraget framkom att begreppet områdesdesign var oklart och att innebörden växlade beroende på vem jag frågade. Komplexiteten hos begreppet ledde till att studien riktades mot att definiera begreppet områdesdesign. Vid gatufestivaler används stadens centrum som arena. Detta innebär att funktioner och användningsområden, till exempel scener och toaletter, måste anpassas estetiskt och funktionellt till den befintliga stadsmiljön.

Detta examensarbete utfördes på ABB Power Technologies i Ludvika med syfte att förenkla tillverkningen av märkskyltar till mättransformatorer.Tidigare utformades alla skyltar för hand i Excel utifrån data från ett beräkningsprogram. Det gjorde att det behövdes en mall för varje variant i varje språk vilket ledde till väldigt många mallar. På ABB ville man både komma ifrån mängden olika mallar och det tidskrävande handarbetet som dessutom kunde resultera i att skyltarna inte fick enhetligt utseende. Genom att göra ett program som automatiskt genererar skyltarna utifrån en standardmall med hjälp av en fil från beräkningsprogrammet sparas mycket tid och arbete. Den som utformar skylten behöver då bara lägga till några få data själv och kan välja språk direkt i programmet istället för att behöva skriva allt för hand.Resultatet av detta examensarbete blev ett program som används av ABB för att göra skyltar till nästan alla mättransformatorer..

The amount of television entertainment of the character ?reality program series? has increased on Swedish television, because of this it could be generally considered that television entertainment is in a ?reality series era?. In recent years so called ?work soaps? have become very popular. This is a television series, where through the TV screen; we have the possibility to view ordinary people in their daily lives and often dramatic work.

The purpose of this study was to examine participants' experiences and descriptions of a municipal activation program, and how participants perceive their opportunities for influence on their own needs and requirements. The results are based on statements from six semi-structured, individual interviews conducted by the qualitative method. Empowerment, paternalism and social capital are among the study's theoretical frame of reference. The main results show that more participants are critical of aspects of coercion and involuntary willingness in participation. Motivation for participation seems to mainly be linked to whether the activity is experienced as meaningful, as well as to the attitude of the staff.
