AbstraktDet här arbetet grundar sig på en fallstudie utförd på en Reggio Emilia inspirerad förskola. Syftet med studien är att ta reda på hur pedagoger arbetar med matematik genom estetiska lärprocesser inom Reggio Emilias pedagogiska filosofi. Som bas för studien har vi använt läroplan för förskolan, Lpfö98 (skolverket, 2010) och teorier som berör matematik, estetiska lärprocesser samt didaktik. De metoder vi har använt i syfte att besvara våra problemformuleringar är kvalitativa intervjuer och observationer. Intervjuerna har genomförts med fyra pedagoger varav en även har ett utökat ansvar som ateljerista. Denna roll har en betydelsefull inom Reggio Emilias pedagogiska filosofi.

I Lpfö 98 rev. 2010 (Skolverket, 2011) beskrivs det under Förskolans uppdrag att barnska få möjlighet att uttrycka sig genom de olika estiska uttrycksformerna och att detfrämjar barns utveckling och lärande.Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur stort utrymme samt betydelse olika estetiskauttrycksformerna har i förskolans verksamhet samt att undersöka vilken kompetenspedagoger anser behövs för att stödja de estetiska uttrycksformerna och hur de använderestetiken i verksamheten.I studien observerades fyra förskoleavdelningar i en mellanstor svensk kommun ochefter avslutad observation gjordes en intervju på respektive avdelning. Underinsamlingen av empiri framkom att svaren från intervjuerna inte stämde överrens meddet vi sett i observationerna. Resultatet visade att pedagogerna i intervjuerna ansåg attförskollärare inte behöver någon kompetens inom estetiska uttrycksformer. Vi har äveni studien studerat estetikens betydelse för förskolans verksamhet, där pedagogerna hadeen gemensam syn på hur förskolan skulle se ut om de estetiska uttrycksformerna intefanns.

This study is intended to give an impartial view of a young and complex program in Sweden titled Product Innovation Engineering program. The purpose of this program is to increase innovation capability in Sweden that will result in new companies, patents and economic growth. The results from this study might give some direction to future innovation initiatives, but should primarily serve as a tool for the PIEp participants. The study will focus on investigating the creation of the program as well as the development of its strategy. From weaknesses and strengths within the strategy of the program the study should also attempt to show its future potential.
