Erik Beckmans roman Inlandsbanan (1967) har, tillsammans med hans hela författarskap, både kritiserats och hyllats som obegriplig, med en berättarstruktur som aktivt bryter mot ett konventionellt, episkt berättande och anammar en försvårande, gestaltande skriv- och läsakt. Derrida diskuterar i Of Grammatology (1967) funktionen hos den skrivna texten som betecknande det betecknande, det vill säga betecknande det talade språket som betecknar den refererade betydelsen, och hur relationerna dessa sinsemellan förskjutits. På ett liknande sätt har Inlandsbanans textfunktion förskjutits från en episk berättartradition till en icke-muntlig, materialistisk struktur. Med hjälp av en inomkompositionell, intermedial begreppsapparat, och en hypotes kring ett musikaliserat berättande, där gestaltande former tar sig runt den muntliga språktraditionen inom litteraturen, ses Inlandsbanan här i ett nytt ljus och en del av dess påstådda obegriplighet redes ut. Allt detta sker integrerat i en diskussion av en intermedial metod för analys, som hela tiden har sitt stöd i Erik Beckmans roman.

This bachelor thesis discusses three Swedish landscape architects and their plan drawings and illustrations. The landscape architects are from the 18th century, the 19th century respectively the 20th century. The three persons are: Fredrik Magnus Piper, Knut Forsberg and Gunnar Martinsson. The landscape architects are brought up in chronological order in a chapter each where the person?s life, educations and work are described.

Uppdragsgivaren, Erik Larssons Byggnads AB, utför skadereglering på uppdrag av flera olika försäkringsbolag i Tranemo, Svenljunga och Ulricehamn kommun. Året 2008 var företaget involverat i sammanlagt 104 försäkringsskador.Den ersättning som tillfaller Erik Larssons Byggnads AB grundar sig i det närmaste uteslutande på de kostnader kalkyleringsprogrammen MEPS och WinBygg 2000 beräknat.Examensarbetet är en studie om användandet av de olika kalkylprogrammen i kombination med respektive avtal haft betydelse för lönsamheten vid skadereglering. Skillnader mellan programmens kalkyler samt hur dessa överensstämmer med verkligt utfall undersöks. Brister i nuvarande arbetssätt kartläggs och förbättringar föreslås.Målet är att resultat och slutsatser skall kunna vara en hjälp vid framtida kalkylering och upphandling av skadeuppdrag - att lönsamheten på så sätt kan förbättras för Erik Larssons Byggnads AB.En fullständig inventering av företagets skadekalkyler genomfördes. Vid denna delades skador från varje försäkringsbolag in i skadetyp, omfattning och kostnad.

This thesis examines the deregulation reform of the Swedish railroad industry, focusing on passenger transport between 1988 and 2005. The purpose of the thesis is to examine the effects from the deregulation reform on prices, market concentration and to determine whether SJ (the state owned incumbent) has been conducting strategic behaviour in order to prevent new entrants to the market. The chosen method consists of interviews with the MD at SJ between 1988 - 1998 Mr Karl-Erik Strand, the transportation researcher at SSE Mr Gunnar Alexandersson. Statistical sources and companies financial reports have also been used. The results that I have found were besides the fact that the market concentration is still significant high and the profitability among the operators low, is that the prices has increased more than CPI during the period but the competitive tendering has resulted in lower government subsidies after the deregulation.

Bergslagets museum is one of the oldest industrial museums in Sweden. It opened in 1922 in Falun, by the big mining company Stora Kopparbergs Bergslags Aktiebolag. This is a study of why a company would be interested in running a museum, why Bergslagets museum opened and who the people were that created it.Several persons were involved in collecting and organizing the models of old machinery, letters, paintings, pictures that was to become the Bergslagets museum. This paper shows different motives behind the opening of an industrial museum in Falun and gives a presentation of its superintendants, Carl Sahlin, Alvar Silow, Erik Johan Ljungberg and Olof Söderberg. All of them were central in the creating of the Bergslagets museum, today known as Gruvmuseet i Falun..

This study is an attempt to shed light on problems and possibilities of the school library of the Swedish comprehensive school concerning library law and goals of the school and the school library. Many investigations about the role of the school library of the comprehensive school have been carried through. They have all more or less come to the same conclusions. In spite of Swedish library law and goal documents of the school library, the school libraries are often neglected, if not will and commitment are to be found among teachers. Using a model of the school organisation by Gunnar Berg, three cases of school libraries are presented and analysed in a larger organisational and political perspective.

Syftet med detta arbete var att undersöka hur vuxna elever som studerar svenska som andraspråk resonerar kring sina inlärningsstrategier. Studien genomfördes med kvalitativ ansats och datainsamlingsmetod var semistrukturerade intervjuer. Inom denna studie intervjuades sex vuxna elever, som planerar att påbörja sina studier på högskolor. Resultaten i denna studie visade att vuxna elever använde eller uttryckte sammanlagd fyrtio av sextiotvå inlärningsstrategier som är utarbetade av Oxford, forskare inom språkvetenskap. Minnesstrategier, affektiva strategier och sociala strategier kunde kartläggas i större utsträckning än kognitiva strategier, kompensationsstrategier och metakognitiva strategier.

I mitt examensarbete gör jag en jämförande studie mellan två verk av glasformgivarna Bertil Vallien som arbetar på Åfors glasbruk och Mats Jonasson som arbetar för Målerås glasbruk. Den frågeställning som jag har valt är: ?vad kommunicerar verken?? och ?varför ser de så olika ut??. För att ta reda på det har jag använt mig av Bourdieus teorier om de olika kapitalen. Att deras verk ser så olika ut beror på de olika platser med sina respektive kulturer som de har växt upp med.

In order to get a better understanding of the interaction between employees and their technical work tools one needs to know what factors influence the interaction. The purpose of this study was to examine if there is a correlation between the personality traits Extraversion (E) and Neuroticism (N), tested with Eysenck Personality Inventory (EPI), and experience of the new Intranet among employees at The Swedish National Transport Administration (SNTA), and also to gather information of employees? opinions about the new Intranet. A survey, containing questions about the Intranet and a personality test (EPI), was posted on SNTA?s Intranet for eight workdays (N = 88, females = 53, males = 35).

In February 2005, a collection predominantly containing medieval ballads was found in the library of Växjö. The collectors were mainly George Stephens, originally from Scotland, and Gunnar Olof Hyltén-Cavallius, both active in Småland in the nineteenth century. In connection with an intital inventory of the material, Magnus Gustafsson, ethnomusicologist at Smålands Musikarkiv, marked ballads of uncertain origin with a question mark.The purpose of this essay is to investigate 22 of these marked ballads. To be able to compare them with other material we have developed a method to identify differences. By means of the method both the text and the melody are compared and in addition the differences in terms of quality and quantity are assessed.

The purpose of this master thesis is to describe the professional and literary life of Karl-Gunnar Wall, city librarian of Katrineholm between 1944 and 1975. Questions at issue are the reasons for Walls literary interests, Walls choice of occupation, crucial personal meetings, the context in which Wall acts, Walls fundamental principles as a librarian and as a critic, and the features comprising Walls life history. The method used is a merely qualitative one called "life history". It is founded on in-depth interviews with the persons involved and emanates from the individuals own story about his life. I have carried out three taped interviews; one with Wall himself, and two with his colleagues.
