The aim of this study is to describe, from a didactic point of view, wether gender norms are challenged and sex Equality is maintained when two teachers in grade one communicate with their pupils. This is based on the existing norms in our society which generates into certain expectations of how one should act depending on wether you are a girl or a boy. In addition to this, the lack of Equality between women and men is a global question. The norms and conditions in society are reproduced, but can also be deconstructed in school (Martinsson and Reimers 2008, p. 8).

The development cooperation has changed through the years in accordance to the Swedish policy and the politics.

In today´s labour market, men and women are segregated, both vertically and horizontally. Exceptions to the rule of gender segregation are few. There is, however, one managerial group where women and men are equal in numbers: school principals. In a short period of time, the distribution in terms of sex among principals in Sweden has changed dramatically. How does gender Equality in numbers affect gender Equality in a qualitative sense? That is the focus of this thesis.

The purpose of this study is to see how men, women and children are made ??in the Ikea 2014 catalog, this from a gender perspective. It will also examine if gender stereotypes are seen and how equal the people in the images is produced.This essay is studied on the basis of gender theory and theories about stereotypes and how men, women and children are prepared in advertising and commercials. The method that was used during the analysis process was a qualitative semiotic method. The analysis tool that was used from the semiotic method was denotation, connotation and metonymy.The result of the study shows that the major part of the pictures that was analyzed was gender stereotypical and that a few of the pictures showed some kind of Equality between men and women, both between grow ups and children.

Syftet med utredningsarbetet var att undersöka vad de anställda vid moderbolaget Energi inom Energikoncernen har för attityder till jämställdhet generellt på arbetsplatsen. Som metod använde vi enkäter i genomförandet av vår studie. Utifrån de anställdas attityder utarbetade vi en konkret jämställdhetsplan. Vi kom fram till att det finns mycket för Energibolaget att arbeta med vad det gäller jämställdhetsfrågor i organisationen.

Gender and politics, how well do they match? An interesting way of studying gender and politics is therefore to look at the legislation proposals from the government. In Sweden when the government make a legislation proposal it have to have a chapter that consider the aspect of Equality between men and women. This paper aim to study the language in the gender aspect of the legislation proposal. This is done from a gender perspective.

The aim of this study is to examine how two Kenyan school's approaches gender roles, by what the curriculum says and by how the teachers way of teaching are effecting the creation of gender roles. The aim is further to find out what the Kenyan school settings are, according to gender and Equality, and how these are implemented in practice. This was examined through interviews at two local schools in Kenya, with five practicing teachers from grade one through grade six. This work compares the respondents' answers to the research that is related to the topic. Because of lack in the research about Kenya, the research has been based on mostly Swedish investigations.

The diocese of Gothenburg has been labeled conservative on the question of gender Equality. Therefore, this study aims to examine gender Equality among employees in a Swedish church within the diocese of Gothenburg, and how this church and their employees work with this question in 2024. The study focuses on stereotypical gender roles and how they are reproduced in this church. The question on LGBTQ+ people in the church of Sweden is also touched upon since it is closely related to gender Equality and stereotypical gender roles. The study argues that men and women in this specific church have a different way of approaching and talking about gender Equality.

Gender Equality and gender Equality work is relevant for today's working life, and previously male-dominated occupations may be increasingly under pressure to become more equal. This paper aims to explore and understand how the firefighters at a station are experiencing gender and gender Equality in rescue services.Using theories of how sex is done, how a power perspective and a structural approach can show men's and women's different conditions in an organization, and theories that are more specific to gender and change management the firefighters talk about gender and gender Equality are analyzed. Essay results were collected through interviews with seven firefighters and then analyzed and interpreted with the help of theories.The analysis shows that there is a perception among the firefighters that men and women are biologically different and that required physical strength legitimizes the exclusion of women. InEquality is seen as something natural and by pursuing an active gender Equality women are given unwarranted benefits. When physical strength becomes a legitimate reason for exclusion, the responsibility for gender inEquality is put on women and that women don?t have what it takes.There is also a resistance against gender Equality analyzed in the paper, and it's stated opposition seems to be directed against the management's way of recruiting women.

This examination studies the gender balance of contemporary art exhibitions in Sweden. To what extent genders are equally represented assumes to be based on how the curating process considers Equality work. Three categories of art organisations are studied with the intention to determine differences in Equality approach between the categories. Official documents of each organisation are examined to understand how they formally relate to Equality work. Statistics of the actual gender balance of each organisation are produced based on the last two years exhibition archives.

The aim of this master thesis is to examine high school students? understandings and experiences of gender Equality and to critically study the formulations and the basis of the project from Save the Children Sweden which are the basis for this master thesis. By using critical discourse analysis and gender theories the formulations and basis of the project and the interviews has been analyzed. The analysis of the project showed neglect for intersectional perspectives and taken for granted hidden opinions about masculinities and femininities. The interviews have been conducted with four high school students, and the students felt that they attend schools which are equal between genders.

The aim of this research is to do a comparison between students? view of Equality in secondary school and in gymnasium. The research begins with four focus groups, two on each grade to conduct material. The focus groups with girls and boys were separated from each other. With help from the researcher, acting as a moderator in the focus groups, the students have discussed advertisement and what message it convey.
