Today?s society is very focused around technology and something that is very popular is the usage of mobile devices such as Smartphones or Tablet computers. One of the reasons why these devices are so popular, is because of the large amounts of services or ?apps? that they can provide for the user. They can do a lot of things that makes everyday living easier for the users.The focus of this study is to find out what kinds of mobile services the users of these devices are expecting and/or wishes to see in the future and what is required to be able to develop and use these services in a good way.We started of the study by searching for earlier studies on the same or similar subjects.
Karaktärsanimation till avataren i spelet Dreamlords the Reawakening : Hur funktionella och dekorativa animationer samspelar i ett MMORTS
Detta är en reflexiv text och presenterar hur funktionella animationer, skapad med animationsprincipen Straight Ahead Action, samspelar med dekorativa animationer, skapad med en modifierad upplaga av animationsprincipen Pose to Pose, och hur de båda formerna av animation förmedlar samma karaktär hos en avatar i spelet Dreamlord the Reawakening (Lockpick Entertainment, 2008). Animationerna representerar det kvinnliga och det manliga könet i sitt utförande, förhåller sig till givna riktlinjer om animationslängd och begränsad yta de kan utspela sig på samt fungerar med en rad olika uppsättningar av vapen och rustningar.Hos avataren i spelet Dreamlords the Reawakening finns det animationer som syftar till att indikera för spelaren vad som händer med spelarens avatar på skärmen och är direkt kopplat till den funktion i spelet animationen representerar. Det finns dessutom animationer vars syfte är att förtydliga och underhålla samtliga spelare när två spelare spelar mot varandra.Denna reflexiva text behandlar den metod som använts vid skapande av animationerna, bestående av ett förarbete, ett iterativt huvudarbete och slutligen en utvärdering. Arbetet som utförts har sammanställts till ett verk och en analys av verket har genererat flertalet resultat.Syftet med denna text var att identifiera och analysera två typer av animation i spelet Dreamlords the Reawakening för att ge en djupare kunskap av de problem som uppstår och den problemlösning som krävs för att skapa dynamiska animationer för det två typerna av animation till ett MMORTS-spel..

Few would disagree that the media landscape has undergone significant changes the last decade. From bulky computers and plain mobile phones to portable High-Definition computers and multi-functional smartphones. Other media, such as newspapers and music, have evolved and prospered in a digitalized environment. The constant urge to digitalize aspects and functions of our daily lives seems almost instinctive. Television has taken further steps into this environment as it is now accepted and featured via the Internet.
Motivationsfaktorer som påverkar organisationer och individer - En fallstudie om motivation i en kreativ kontext
I uppsatsen har vi valt att undersöka de motivationsfaktorer som ligger till bakgrund för att arbeta inom en kreativ miljö och huruvida det finns andra faktorer som påverkar den enskilde individens motivation. En kvalitativ undersökning har gjorts dels i två fokusgrupper (team) och dels som intervjuer med fokusgruppernas teamledare inom företaget, Ubisoft Massive Entertainment AB. För att ha ett bättre underlag innan intervjutillfällena har vi studerat olika teorier och artiklar som knyter an till de frågeställningar som vi har valt att ställa. Avslutningsvis har det empiriska materialet analyserats och diskuterats utifrån de teorier som handlar om motivation och kreativitet. Resultatet av undersökningen visar på tre övergripande områden som påverkar motivationen.

This is a report that aims to research upon Fairclough´s Critical discourse analysis to emphasise the power relationship between professional bloggers and former amateur bloggers at the fashion-Entertainment web page Veckorevyn.com. Professional bloggers as they appear in the research object and their power within the Media seem to be a subject that is very relevant these days. This paper will look at different factors that make professional bloggers popular and as an example on their responsibility as a role model. However, amateur bloggers do have an importance in this discussion as they are more and more competing with the professionals.

Introduction: As the media landscape has changed so has fierce competition in the market, giving an effect of stronger commercialization of the media. Societal problems in our society are caused by increased commercialization and market orientation. Media has gone from trusted social institutions to focus on their own economic interests, where owners are expected revenue. The content of the media is characterized more and more by Entertainment, because it attracts a larger audience. On one side media is expected to contribute to democracy in society and on the other they are expected to contribute profits to their owners, which creates a conflict in today?s media society.

Trough a literature study based on both philosophic and objective fact this essay is taking off in the meaning of public space. It investigates how the information society and its virtual world are affecting the idea and use of public space in the city. The city and the actual world have developed from the traditional meeting between people while the virtual world is based on flows of information. The information flow has expanded through the Information and Communication Technique (ICT). ICT covers among others Internet, mobile phones and computers.
Medialisera mera. En medielogisk thriller ? Kvantitativ innehållsanalys av partiledarutfrågningarna i P1/Ekot och P3/Valfestivalen år 2014
This study aims to map out the degree of mediatization present in the communication between Swedishpublic service journalists and politicians in the 2014 election campaign. In doing so we chose to look at thepresence of media logic in their communication with each other. Specifically, we have used the pre-electioninterviews with the party leaders from Sweden?s two biggest parties. Furthermore, we have chosen to focuson Sveriges Radio, the Swedish public service radio company.Sveriges Radio concists of four different radio channels, of which we have chosen to focus on the channelsP1 and P3, the first having a somewhat more ?serious? profile, focused on producing quality news and otherjournalistic products, while P3 is leaning towards a younger audience and describes its own work as ?soft,humorous and important radio?, mixed with music and other forms of Entertainment.

The paper is based on telephone interviews with three On-line shopping companies.

Berättelsens labyrinter : Interaktiv fiktion och dess narrativa aspekter
This essay examines the narrative aspect of interactive fiction. The study uses Janet H. Murrays analysis of the digital environment and the properties of it as procedural, participatory, spatial and encyclopedic. From this, her three characteristic pleasures in digital narratives - immersion, agency and transformation - are examined from the perspective of interactive fiction. The study also examines Nick Montforts analysis of interactive fiction as a potential narrative and a simulated world or environment.
Att uppleva Washington Capitals : ett framgångsrikt företag inom upplevelseekonomin
Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur Washington Capitals strategiskt arbetar för att skapa upplevelser i samband med hockeymatcherna och deras kringarrangemang.Hur skapar Washington Capitals upplevelser? Finns det något att lära av deras upplevelsestrategi?Kan Washington Capitals arbetssätt kopplas till teorier om upplevelseekonomi? Metod: Sekundärdata i form av tryckta källor och böcker, tidigare uppsatser och artiklar. Vi har genomfört en kvalitativ fältstudie i Washington D.C. Där intervjuade vi personer på Washington Capitals organisation samt genomförde deltagande och icke deltagande observationer på huvudkontoret och i arenan vid matcharrangemang. Resultat & slutsats: Washington Capitals arbetar i hög grad med upplevelseekonomi, detta är något som andra kan lära av. Washington Capitals arbetar inte utefter några upplevelseekonomiska teorier, de hade aldrig hört begreppet tidigare.

The aim of this study was to investigate in what way content marketing can be understood through podcasts as an alternative marketing tool. The material which the study was based on is Ölpodden, a podcast initiated by Carlsberg Sweden. The study intended to shed light on the interdiscursivity that emerges when brands are communicated through podcasts. Another aim was to understand how relationships and identities are constructed through the podcast by examining its intended audience. In order to achieve this a critical discourse analysis was used as both underlining theory and comprehensive method.

The highest availability to the user comment feature was found in news themes covering sports and Entertainment, followed by financial news. News stories lacking the user comment feature weremainly found in news themes concerning crimes and accidents. The user comment frequencies are not normally distributed along news stories. On the contrary, 62 percent of the news stories did not get any user comments at all.
