To start a company on the Internet is something that has appealed a lot of people during the last couple of years. Some of the companies have succeeded in their struggle but a lot of companies have failed to live out their ambition. This paper deals with the concept of e-commerce and aims to study whether or not the companies that has succeeded has made use of business models and what other factors that is important that you wont find in any written theory.The paper also aims to study the concept of business models and what a business model consists of. To be able to do this research we have interviewed three different companies that are all active in e-commerce and have survived for at least three years. Two of the companies are classical web shops that sell products to their customers and the last one is a site with articles about hardware and IT business in general.

Denna uppsats är uppdelad i två delstudier där syftet med delstudie ett var att utarbeta ett tinnitusspecifikt självskattningsformulär för acceptans, samt undersöka dess psykometriska egenskaper, normer och faktorstruktur. Syftet med delstudie två var att bland tinnituspatienter undersöka det prediktiva värdet av acceptans avseende senare tinnitusbesvär och livskvalitet, när man kontrollerar för depression och ångest. Detta då acceptans i en rad studier visat sig vara relaterat till ett antal mått på livskvalitet, psykopatologi, stress, smärta, jobbprestation och negativ affektivitet (Hayes, Luoma et al., 2006).Delstudie två var en longitudinell korrelationsstudie med ett tidsintervall på 7 månader. Deltagarna i studierna var tinnituspatienter från Öronmottagningen på Universitetssjukhuset i Linköping och uppgick i delstudie ett till 77 personer och i delstudie två till 47.Resultaten i delstudie ett visar att ett tinnitusspecifikt acceptansmått kunde utarbetas med adekvat frekvensdistribution samt god intern konsistens och test-retest reliabilitet. Detta acceptansmått har två faktorer där den första är activity Engagement och den andra är tinnitus willingness.Resultaten i delstudie två visar att såväl specifik som generell acceptans har ett starkt signifikant samband med senare tinnitusbesvär och ett måttligt signifikant samband med senare livskvalitet.

Humanity faces a major challenge with the climate and environmental crisis, largely driven by reckless recourse use and greenhouse gas emissions by corporations. The EU?s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) aims to standardise corporate sustainability reporting, making practices more transparent and comparable. This directive seeks to enhance sustainability practices and guide market forces towards sustainability, supporting the EU?s goal of net-zero emissions by 2050.

SUMMARYEnvironmental issues are currently a hot topic of debate. Studies within the optics branch have not specifically been conducted previously, so the aim of this study was to determine the extent of environmental-awareness specifically within this branch.A survey, consisting of questions relating to environmental issues, was distributed to 100 randomly-selected opticians in Sweden. Of these 100 surveys, 64 were returned and showed a varied branch-Engagement for environmental issues.Results of this survey showed that opticians were best in sorting newspapers, magazines, other paper and hazardous waste. Metal and rigid plastic were not sorted to any larger extent.Choosing environmentally-safe products was not so popular and only six stores always do this. 25 shops turn off electrical machines and equipment over night; while the majority of the remaining stores leave the machines on during the night.27 stores did not know if their electrical company provided ?green electricity?.Results showed that there is a lot of work to be done in making the stores more environmentally friendly.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how power is distributed in the mathematics classroom and how students achieve agency when ICT (Information and communication technology) is used as a teaching tool. Three learning situations, structured by mathematics, are analysed: in the first situation mathematics is taught in a traditional way, in the second mathematics is taught in interdisciplinary projects, and in the third mathematics is taught using ICT as a pedagogical tool. The theoretical concepts of power and agency are used as analytical tools within a socio-political framework. The concept of power is used to assess the students? ability to influence their learning and degree of inclusion in the three learning situations.

Also political participation favours the collective and therefore you do not get any personal advantages for your contribution. Even more interesting is the question of why you participate when it puts yourself in a position of danger? Colombia is considered to be the most dangerous country to be a member of labour unions in and it would therefore be a context where it is unlikely to find participation. This study is based on thirteen qualitative interviews with Colombian female union members with the aim to understand why people engage in labour unions despite threats of violence and other obstacles, when the most likely would be to abstain from action.

Syftet med studien var att förstå betydelsen och nyttan av slöjdämnet i grundskolanbetraktat genom elevers berättelser om ämnet.De frågeställningar som jag utgick ifrån var:· Vilken karaktär av kunskaper uttrycker eleverna att slöjdämnet leder till?· Vilken mening och nytta uppfattar eleverna att slöjdämnet har?Litteraturavsnittet tar upp slöjdämnets historia, tillkomst och förändring fram till dagenskursplan och läroplan. Vidare tas kunskapsbegreppet upp utifrån läroplanen, Aristotelesfilosofi samt Vygotskijs sociokulturella teori.Den andra delen av litteraturkapitlet behandlar slöjdämnets kompetenser såsompedagogisk process, kropp och kommunikation samt entreprenöriellt lärande.Elevers dagboksanteckningar samt deltagande observationer utgjorde data. Deslöjdkompetenser som eleverna gav uttryck för och som jag såg i mina observationervar entreprenöriell kompetens, kroppslig och kommunikativ kompetens,processkompetens samt en känsla av lust.Resultatet visade att den betydelse och nytta eleverna tillskriver slöjdämnet är desskaraktär av konkretion samt av engagemang och delaktighet.I diskussionen kopplas litteratur och resultat ihop med egna reflektioner. En av defrågor som studien bidrog till är hur och om de praktiska och estetiska ämnena kan sessom utgångspunkt för mer teoretiska ämnen? Mot bakgrund av studiens resultat kan detfinnas outnyttjade möjligheter att dra nytta av slöjdämnets fördelar inom andra ämnen..

Abstract:Perennials in public areas have during the latest decades been more and more popular. This group of plants has become a more accepted komponent when creating pleasant public places, and people begin to see the functional aspects. Perennials do also give a colour- and senceexperience in a more detailed way than can be achieved with only trees and shrubs. One of the ojects of this essay is to give more examples of motives for using perennials in urban areas.Having in mind the increasing use of perennials, you can expect a growing need for better understading of how to create successfull perennial plantings. In spite of the increasing interest it is hard to find any written information in this subject.

This studie explores how a promotive youth movement that aims to activate adolescents in economically and socially exposed areas, can affect the youth?s participation in society and oppose their experience of stigmatization. The youth movement, whom is being studied, uses urban art expressions as a mean to engage and motivate the adolescents. The empirism has mostly been collected by a limited participatory observation, and through qualitative interviews with staff and adolescents in the movement. The result has been analyzed through Pierre Bourdieus field theory.

The present essay concerns Walter Benjamin´s Engagement with the concept of critique in four of his early writings from 1916-1928. It revolves around three main themes, or objects of interest: the critique of language [Sprache], the critique of the work [das Werk] and the critique of history [Geschichte]. The main objective of this study is to show how we can understand Benjamin?s conception of critique and how he develops it in regard to language, the work and history. The essay argues that this is a vital part to understand his philosophy in general as well as his later philosophy of history in particular.

This study intends to examine teacher´s thoughts and perception of esthetic activities at preschools. I have chosen to restrict the esthetic area to the significance and function of clay to the teachers and children. On the basis of the belief that children can, and need access to a variety of ways to express themselves, we used the interviews to take part of teachers work and thoughts concerning clay, and the esthetic work. I have in this qualitative study addressed four questions: How do the teachers use clay in preschool activities? What do the teachers think about clay as a tool in the educational work at the preschool? Are the teachers working from the perception of children?s rights to express themselves in different ways and with the help of different tools? What function does clay fill for the children?I have interviewed eight teachers and taken part of both older and more recent theories around children and the creativity in esthetic contexts.

Försvarsmakten deltar i allt större utsträckning i operationer utomlands. Hittills har dock inte artilleriförband deltagit men möjligheten att tungt understöd kan komma att behövas verkar inte minska. Syftet med min forskning är att försöka belysa och ta tillvara de slutsatser som dragits av svenska förband inom funktionen indirekt eld vid internationella operationer. På detta vis hoppas jag kunna bidra till att begränsa de problem som hittills har funnits och ta tillvara vad som har fungerat bra. Problemformuleringen lyder: Vilka faktorer samt hur har dessa påverkat användandet av funktionen indirekt eld vid svenska internationella insatser? Jag har genomfört en fallstudie på det indirekta eldsystemets nyttjande i Kongo och Kosovo. För inhämtning av information har jag använt mig av tekniken enkätundersökning samt intervju.Några av de viktigaste resultat jag erhållit är att personalen inom funktionen indirekt eld måste ha djup förståelse och en bred kunskapsbank inom artilleritjänsten för att kunna lösa problem som kan uppkomma vid internationell tjänst.

This Master´s thesis aims to aquire knowledge about volunteers attitude toward work. It emphasis is on the differences between volunteers and non volunteers. There are four research questions used in order to fulfill the aim in a scientific manner. The essay aims to get in depth knowledge regarding whether or not the respondents feel that they have gained advantages in work life due to the fact that they are involved in volunteer work. One of the pivotal questions is if there is a possibility to see a pattern that binds together the reasons for volunteer work and the attitude toward work.

We have used a qualitative approach and our thesis is based on a qualitative text analysis study where we have analyzed 13 articles (the articles are from scholarly journals, magazines and trade/professional) from 2007 to 2009.
