Uppvärmningen av ett småbostadshus står vanligen för kring hälften av dess energianvändning. Enligt Energimyndigheten drar det svenska standardhuset 22,7 MWh per år varav 12,2 MWh går till uppvärmning. Att ge värmesystemet så bra förutsättningar som möjligt bör alltså vara av intresse för varje husägare, kanske främst ur ett ekonomiskt perspektiv men även ur ett ekologiskt perspektiv.I detta arbete har olika energieffektiviseringsåtgärder studerats som kan implementeras i en tvåplansvillas värmesystem bestående av en värmepump, golvvärme på nedervåningen och olika värmedistributionssystem på övervåningen. Åtgärderna har innefattat både praktiska såsom val av isolering i golvvärmesammanhang och mer teoretiska såsom reglerstrategier. Relevant teori för de ingående systemen har presenterats och utgjort grunden för implementeringar av systemen i simuleringsprogrammet IDA Indoor Climate and Energy.

SammanfattningResurseffektivisering är ett område som kommer att spela en allt mer större roll i framtida samhällen både på grund av ekonomiska orsaker men också på grund av klimatförändringarna samt den begränsade tillgången på energiresurser. Energieffektivisering är en del av detta område med tanke på att energikonsumtionen blir allt större och större. Energipriset går inte att påverka men kostnaden går det att påverka genom att kartlägga energiförbrukningen och därefter vidta lämpliga åtgärder. Fastighetssektorn är en bransch där det finns stora anledningar att titta på energikonsumtionen då de står för ca 40 % av samhällets energiförbrukning i Sverige.(Energimyndigheten, 2012)Inom fastighetsbranschen kan man energieffektivisera på många olika sätt och det finns en uppsjö av olika lösningar vilka tillämpas efter behov och möjligheter. Det allternativ man väljer beror av hur kartläggningen av fastigheten som ska energieffektiviseras ser ut.

Vindkraftens andel av den svenska elproduktionen har varit begränsad länge, trots politiska initiativ för att främja utvecklingen har investeringstakten varit låg över tid för att under tidigt 2000-tal accelerera betydligt. Över tid har mängder med forskningsartiklar publicerats om vindkraften för att synliggöra flaskhalsar i utvecklingen. Utöver brister i exempelvis svenska vindkraftspolicyn har mer basala faktorer lyfts fram som en avgörande del i vindkraftens framsteg. En av dessa faktorer en investerare möter och som vissa forskare pekat ut som väsentlig uppträder på lokal nivå, den lokala beslutsfattarens vilja att godkänna bygglov i kommunen. I denna ekonometriska studie är syftet att undersöka vilka lokala variabler som påverkar utbudet av vindkraft i Sveriges kommuner.
