Is there such a thing as unadulterated nature? All that surrounds us is culturally modified by man somewhere along our past. But culture is only a fictitious conception itself, created in an attempt to break the world into controllable objects.So in what do we find culture? In everything? In the objects or the stories they embrace? Who chooses what?s worth saving and how to save? Choosing what is culture is made from personal, ingrained dichotomies of what?s important and what is not. A selective eye creates a distorted truth, which could have unintentional long-term effects.This thesis will give a historical account of the archaeological discipline?s development in tending to our cultural heritage.

Westinghouse i Västerås består av olika arbetsområden, dessa i sin tur har egna organisationer samt en global organisation. Syftet med denna studie är att förstå bristen på förståelse vid förändringsarbete samt kommunikationen mellan ledningen och de anställda i de olika arbetsområdena, tekniker och projekt ledare. Till detta har ett verktyg formats för att bemöta attityder som förhindrar förändringsarbetet på Westinghouse i Västerås. Tidigare studier visar på att förändringsarbete bemötts av konflikter, attityder samt hot från olika verksamheter inifrån och även utifrån organisationen. Olika författare syftar till olika strategier för förändringsarbete och hur dessa kan leva vidare efter projektets avslutande.

This paper attempts to replicate a study from 2009 about users reading habits and the future of e?books. Due to the increased use of smartphones and tablets since 2009, there is a reason to reasearch if the perception and use of e?books has changed. The methods used is qualitative interviews complemented with an online questionnaire.

Purpose of this thesis is to study the impact of wind turbines on their surroundings. It also aims to analyze how the communication looks between the authorities, the planner and local residents prior to the establishment of wind turbines in Lännäs/Odensbacken in Örebro, where three wind turbines set up in a group.The results of this survey show that the participants experience themselves not as especially disturbed of the turbines in the form of large noise, shadows, and sleep disturbance indoors and outdoors. Participants felt that no change had taken place on the natural environment (52%) since the turbines became operational. It was 49% of participants had got no information about the establishment of Örebro Municipality, Örebro County Administrative Board or Wind Power Company. Scientists/­experts had the highest confidence of 86%, politicians and the media/journalists had least confidence.

Kreativitet är ett begrepp som har fått stor slagkraft inom restaurangbranschen. Många kockar anses idag jobba kreativt med matlagning och använder denna egenskap som ett sätt att konkurrera på en hård marknad.Syftet i studien avsåg att undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkar en kocks kreativa arbete.Metoden som användes var en granskning av fem vetenskapligt godkända artiklar. Materialet analyserades och ställdes samman i resultatdelen. Vidare skrevs artikelmatriser för att lättare kunna ta del av den väsentliga informationen artiklarna innehöll.Resultatet visade på att bakgrund, personliga egenskaper, studie- och arbetsmiljö är viktiga inre och yttre faktorer som påverkar en kocks kreativa arbete. Det kreativa arbetet är under ständig utveckling och måste anpassas efter marknadens krav och de gäster som ska tillfredställas.

Today's communication solution between the vehicle and trailer is one many see as anon-viable solution, then breakdowns on both the lights and cables are common. Now, anew innovation enters the market, a system that can transmit wireless control signalsbetween the vehicle and trailer.Parvus and Zap, the two solutions that the projekt group has come up with during thisthesis work carried out over the last year on Utvecklingsingenjörsprogrammet.Technologists Peter Jägevall and Christopher Åberg has developed this project on theirown. The group has developed various concepts and chosen to work on, two of them.The project has resulted in this report and a prototypeThe solution that the group has developed is a wireless communication between vehicleand trailer. The project team has developed new power-efficient LED lighting fixtures inorder to implement an internal power source in the trailer. The result of this has becomea maintenance-free and wireless product to trailers.

The purpose of this Bachelor?s thesis is to describe and analyze the implementation of Facebook in a public library. A case study consisting of qualitative interviews and studies of documents containing goals for the library has been conducted at a public library going through the process of implementing Facebook in their operations. The theoretical framework for this study consists of Everett M. Rogers?s stages of the innovation-decision process and his characteristics of innovations as perceived by individuals.

Göteborg satsar på att bli en grönare stad och planerar därmed på att bygga ut en vindkraftspark vid Hake fjord. Göteborgs Energi Nät AB (GENAB) har fått i uppdrag att lösa hur man ska gå tillväga från generatorsidan ända fram till regionnätet. Uppgiften är att utreda vilka komponenter som skall väljas, hur kablarna skall förläggas och hur det blir så ekonomiskt som möjligt. Eftersom det är en vindkraftspark som skall byggas och det är en förnyelsebar energikälla, har andra aspekter på miljövänligt tänkande som materialval hafts i åtanke på val av komponenter. Under arbetets gång var det många dialoger med experter inom olika områden.

Företag behöver bli mer innovativa för att utvecklas och överleva. I det sammanhanget är det viktigt att tillvarata den innovativa potentialen hos de anställda. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur företag kan skapa förutsättningar för utveckling av innovativ kraft och hur ett företag på ett bra sätt tillvaratar denna kraft. Uppsatsen skrivs ur ett företagsperspektiv och vi avgränsar oss från de anställdas perspektiv. Vår ansats har liknat fallstudiens.

MindMe is an aid for people with cognitive memory impairments. The aid is completely new and has beendeveloped within this bachelor thesis, no product of this nature could be found on the market before. Theidea came from Niclas Jarhäll, CEO of Mutual Benefits. Mutual Benefits were also partners in the project.The project was carried out by us in cooperation with Bachelor of Science in Innovation Engineeringstudents Malin Albertsson and Victoria Hedman at Halmstad university. The aid consists of a mobile phoneand a number of tags.

Detta examensarbete granskar hur konflikten mellan försvaret, med inriktning på militärt flyg, och förnybar energi genom vindkraft hanteras i den fysiska planeringen. Studien bistår med faktamaterial från båda parter i konflikten i en objektiv framställning. Konflikten granskas på nationell likväl som på lokal nivå. En bakgrundsbeskrivning av försvarets förändrade roll sedan kalla kriget ges. Parallellt beskrivs lagstiftningens utveckling sedan arbetet med den fysiska riksplaneringen började på 1960-talet.

Den omfattande miljöpåverkan som elproduktion bidrar till, har lett till starka påtryckningarfrån beslutsfattare organisationer och allmänhet att successivt övergå till förnybaraenergikällor vid produktion av el. Ett koncept som på senare år fått allt mer uppmärksamhet iSverige är att elanvändarna utöver att energieffektivisera och handla grön el deltar i dennaomställning genom att själva småskaligt producera förnybar el. Småskalig elproduktion i formav sol- och vindkraft har dock haft svårt att etablera sig på elmarknaden på grund av ettstorskaligt produktionssystem med få och stora aktörer. Detta gör att småskaligtegenproducerad el, som innebär en ny marknadsstruktur, uppfattas som en innovation av bådeenergibolag och elanvändare. Vid anammandet av en innovation är användarens attityd tillinnovationen helt avgörande, vilket innebär att elanvändarnas attityd till småskaligegenproducerad el spelar en central roll i den framtida spridningen av konceptet.Traditionellt sätt har småhusägare utgjort den typiska målgruppen för småskalig elproduktion,men i och med denna uppsats uppmärksammar författarna fastighetsbranschens roll ispridningen av konceptet.

With background in the rapidly growing need to find solutions for sustainable energy production and the increasing interest for wind power, this report was written. With take-off point from the wind power plant Big Glenn, which has been built in the harbour of Gothenburg, a model of the adjacent power grid has been created in Simulink/SimPowerSystems. Parameters for the power grid and its components has been provided by Göteborg Energi Nät, that has also been the supplier of measurement data of produced power, the power need from loads in the vicinity, voltage levels, current values and also the variation of power factor at the wind power plant.The SimPowerSystems model has been used to perform simulations of power flow in the grid. These simulated values have then been compared to the measured values to verify the functionality of the model. Further, the model has been used to perform simulations of a grid fault, which causes a voltage drop.
