Fånga och förverkliga idéer : En studie om att tillvarata anställdas idéer och förverkliga dem till innovationer
Background: It has become important to be able to take advantage of employees' ideas for organizations today. The contributed ideas can be developed into innovations. However, there are difficulties for businesses to take advantage and develop the employee provided ideas. It can lead to a stop in the organizations development.Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to gain a greater understanding of how organizations can take advantage of the employees' ideas and develop them into useful innovations for organizations.Method: The thesis consists of precipitated studies from the three organizations, a manufacturing company, a service company and the municipality of Karlskrona. The paper is based on qualitative research by collecting valuable insights through interviews.Conclusions: In this study, it has been proven that organizations today have a magnified view of the concept of innovation. They have difficulties in implementing the concept in day to day operations.
Föryngring av soldatens skyddsnät : Nya möjligheter med en ny veteransoldatpolitik
Bakgrunden till arbetet väcktes genom debatterna sensommaren 2009 om skyddsnivån på de fordon som svenska soldater i Afghanistan använder sig av och det ökade antalet attacker mot den svenska kontingenten där. I takt med att upprorsmännens attacker började skada personalen så var frågeställningen klar. Hur ser stödet till de svenska soldaterna och officerarna ut? Syftet med arbetet är presentera en sammanhållen bild av hur försäkringsskyddet ser ut genom att svara på dessa frågor. Hur försäkringsskyddet ser ut för svensk personalen som tjänstgör för utlandsstyrkan idag? Samt vad innebär den så kallade veteransoldatspropositionen ur försäkringssynpunkt, vilka är skillnaderna? Metoden i arbetet kommer att vara i huvudsak deskriptivt men även komparativt.
Valda verkligheter : En studie av svenska och engelska tidningars konstruerande av verklighet i rapporteringen kring Julian Assange
This is an analysis of how the Swedish newspapers Dagens Nyheter and Aftonbladet and the English newspapers The Independent and The Guardian reported about the sexual molestation and rape charges that were alleged against the Wikileaks founder Julian Assange in August 2010. Through a critical discourse analysis, a theme- and proposition analysis and a process analysis this paper aims to investigate how the above mentioned newspapers create reality in their articles. The purpose is to shed light upon with what means the journalists through the inherited structures of the newspaper illustrate actions and events, how they let other people get visible in the text and who is described as responsible for current events. The results of the analysis shows that Aftonbladet uses a relatively large amount of propositions and speech cues to create an image of the reality that is almost explicitly angled. Dagens Nyheter and The Independent claims a higher degree of objectivity and through micro themes with different perspectives and few explicit statements they create a reality with plenty of room for the reader to make her own conclusions. The Guardian creates an image of the world where the Wikileaks is a great force of democracy and where actions are performed by humans as well as by objects and organizations. .
Den militära flygutbildningen - kunde Försvarsmakten påverka beslutet?
Försvarsmakten (FM), har en lång tradition av samarbete med de politiska beslutsfattarna iregering och riksdag avseende beslut rörande den egna förvaltningen. Ett av dessa tillfällen därFM och regering har samarbetat är vid utarbetande av regeringens proposition om det nyaförsvaret, våren 2000. En delfråga som regeringen inte lyckades skapa politisk majoritet för varplaceringen av den militära flygutbildningen. Frågan skulle komma att påverka hela flygvapnetunder mer än ett års tid med följd att organisation och personal svävade i stor osäkerhet omframtiden. När frågan till slut skulle avgöras, våren 2001 kunde politikerna i Försvarsutskottet(FöU) ändå inte enas kring ett beslut.
Value creation- How can companies optimize the human capital
The thesis aims to examine how companies optimize the human capital from a value creation perspective. The value creation will be related to transfer of knowledge, recruitment, staff turnover and development. The thesis has a deductive approach and six qualitative interviews have been conducted. The results from the interviews will be strengthened with a quantitative data analysis of two measurements; value added per employee and human capital efficiency. The theoretical framework includes definitions of human capital.
Den perfekta informationsspridaren? En komparativ studie av tre organisationers intranätanvändning
This is a comparative study of the use of intranet in three organizations. The organizations are one help organization, one hospital and one business company. The intranet is a relatively new medium and it might still not have been accepted by all potential users, which is a waste of resources both for the individual employee and for the overall organization. It is therefore necessary to investigate if there are any differences between organizations concerning the needs of intranets. Our purpose with this study was to deepen the understanding of the use of intranets as a channel of organizational communication and thereby acknowledge the users´ needs and opinions of the intranet.
"Jag känner liksom igen den på något sätt..." - en studie om implementering av värdegrund i en vård- och omsorgsförvaltning
The aim of our study was to increase the awareness of the importance of implementation when a policy document is widely introduced. We wanted to examine how a political decision was implemented on different levels in a social care administration. We also wanted to examine the discretion related to the decision on different levels in the organisation, and if the work is followed up. The theoretical frame of reference in our study is Vedung?s implementation model and Lipsky?s theory about street-level bureaucrats.
En genomtänkt introduktion : En studie om vilka faktorer och metoder som påverkar introduktionen av nyanställda på företag
The master thesis has been constructed together with Scania, who had a wish to develop their training for newly employed design engineers. The purpose of this thesis is to examine how a company's introduction process can be shaped, as the introduction is the key to success for the individual as well as the organization. With a focus on how the productivity among newly employees can increase and how the introduction becomes meaningful to the individuals and the organization, the objective of this work is to develop concepts applicable for an introduction.The work was conducted using qualitative interviews with several different individuals at Scania and other companies. Along with the interviews a survey was constructed and sent out to newly employed design engineers at Scania to get a view of their opinions on the present training. During the first period of a job there are several factors that affect the employee based on the result from the interviews, previous research and theories.
Implementering av en va?rdegrund : - En kvalitativ studie om medarbetares uppfattning om en organisations va?rdegrundsarbete
Based on last years events that have taken place, events on the school Lundbergs and the police values of work, has the meaning of having a set of values been questioned. This study aimed to investigate and answer the fundamental values based on the common value basis for the government employees within an organization and how it perceived by employees. The new institutional theory was the framework for this qualitative study conducted with semi-structured interviews. Respondents were employees within the organization. Ethnographic qualitative methodology was the basis for our methodology and we used a thematic model of theme interpretation, communication and knowledge in our analysis.
Intelligent vattendesign : utformning av Gjutarplan i Kallhälls centrum
The thesis aims to be an informative study for landscape architects and hopes to contributeto an understanding of ways water can be used and managed at sites lacking open, greensurfaces.The title "intelligent water design" should evoke the reader?s thoughts concerning intelligentaspects of water. Text, images and the design proposition give hints about these aspects.In the first part of this thesis, various examples of water design are presented. The chosenexamples are all applicable in urban environments with a high percentage of impervioussurfaces.The second part examines Gjutarplan, an urban square in the centre of Kallhäll, in Järfälla,north of Stockholm. Gjutarplan is first framed in a geographical and historical context.
Funktionsnedsatta personers förutsättningar på arbetsmarknaden : En studie om exkluderande och inkluderande processer och faktorer
This qualitative study investigates the conditions on the labour market for disabled people by examining which factors and processes contribute to disabled peoples inclusion to, or exclusion from the open labour market. Stigmatisation is also used as an analytical tool to better understand the exclusion of disabled people from the open labour market. The material to this study is drawn from qualitative interviews with the employees of the Swedish Employment Agency which specialises in supporting disabled people to find employment. In conclusion, disabled people face several barriers which makes them more susceptible to become excluded from the open labour market. Such excluding barriers include a demand for high efficiency and productivity from employers, bigger cooperation?s and public organisations unwillingness to employ disabled people and prejudices from employers, especially against people with psychiatric disabilities. The employees of the Swedish Employment Agency suggest that they would be able to work more efficiently to help disabled people find employment if they had to do less administrative work, and would be able to work with fewer clients per employee.
Vad ingår i ämnet Idrott och hälsa? : En intervjustudie om tolkningen av ämnesplanen
2008 lade regeringen fram sin proposition om en ny läroplan för gymnasieskolan, Gy11. Målet med den nya läroplanen, var att den skulle bli tydligare och konkretare än tidigare läroplaner. Vi vill med studien undersöka hur de utbildande lärarna, i Idrott och hälsa, som var med och utformande ämnesplanen i Idrott och hälsa, tolkar ämnesplanen samt hur de realiserar den i praktiken. I studien använder vi oss av en kvalitativ metod, för att verkligen kunna analysera vad dessa personer menar. Den tidigare forskningen klarlägger vad som tidigare har upplevts som ämnets syfte och olika påverkansfaktorer av innehållet i ämnet.

Regeringens nya konsumentpolitiska mål : Hushållens konsumtion och den hållbara utvecklingen
Det råder en stor överkonsumtion i de rika länderna i väst. Det finns fortfarande människor som svälter trots att den totala produktionen och konsumtionen beräknas överstiga jordens långsiktiga bärkraft med ca 25 %. De insatser som tidigare gjorts av regeringen för att uppnå hållbarhet har mest skett mot producentsidan men de har inte fått den effekt som önskats och nu är det dags att satsa på konsumenterna. I mars i år, 2006, överlämnade regeringen till riksdagen en proposition för en ny konsumentpolitik. Det nya övergripande målet enligt propositionen är ?trygga konsumenter som handlar hållbart?.
Motivation i arbetslivet : En kvantitativ studie om vad som motiverar personalen inom äldreomsorgen.
The purpose of this thesis is to study what motivational factors motivates the staff in the public elderly care and to investigate how the staff ranks the different motivational factors and if the rankings differ depending on gender, age, education, type of employment, time of employment, employer, income and ethnic background. The thesis is based on a questionnaire study with a total of 97 participants. The questionnaire was constructed with the help of prior similar studies conducted in the USA and Malaysia over a sixty-year time period. These studies are then used to analyze the results. The participants in our thesis were given ten motivational factors to rank according to what they believed motivated them the most.
