"Jag känner liksom igen den på något sätt..." - en studie om implementering av värdegrund i en vård- och omsorgsförvaltning
The aim of our study was to increase the awareness of the importance of implementation when a policy document is widely introduced. We wanted to examine how a political decision was implemented on different levels in a social care administration. We also wanted to examine the discretion related to the decision on different levels in the organisation, and if the work is followed up. The theoretical frame of reference in our study is Vedung?s implementation model and Lipsky?s theory about street-level bureaucrats.
En genomtänkt introduktion : En studie om vilka faktorer och metoder som påverkar introduktionen av nyanställda på företag
The master thesis has been constructed together with Scania, who had a wish to develop their training for newly employed design engineers. The purpose of this thesis is to examine how a company's introduction process can be shaped, as the introduction is the key to success for the individual as well as the organization. With a focus on how the productivity among newly employees can increase and how the introduction becomes meaningful to the individuals and the organization, the objective of this work is to develop concepts applicable for an introduction.The work was conducted using qualitative interviews with several different individuals at Scania and other companies. Along with the interviews a survey was constructed and sent out to newly employed design engineers at Scania to get a view of their opinions on the present training. During the first period of a job there are several factors that affect the employee based on the result from the interviews, previous research and theories.

Based on last years events that have taken place, events on the school Lundbergs and the police values of work, has the meaning of having a set of values been questioned. This study aimed to investigate and answer the fundamental values based on the common value basis for the government employees within an organization and how it perceived by employees. The new institutional theory was the framework for this qualitative study conducted with semi-structured interviews. Respondents were employees within the organization. Ethnographic qualitative methodology was the basis for our methodology and we used a thematic model of theme interpretation, communication and knowledge in our analysis.
Funktionsnedsatta personers förutsättningar på arbetsmarknaden : En studie om exkluderande och inkluderande processer och faktorer
This qualitative study investigates the conditions on the labour market for disabled people by examining which factors and processes contribute to disabled peoples inclusion to, or exclusion from the open labour market. Stigmatisation is also used as an analytical tool to better understand the exclusion of disabled people from the open labour market. The material to this study is drawn from qualitative interviews with the employees of the Swedish Employment Agency which specialises in supporting disabled people to find employment. In conclusion, disabled people face several barriers which makes them more susceptible to become excluded from the open labour market. Such excluding barriers include a demand for high efficiency and productivity from employers, bigger cooperation?s and public organisations unwillingness to employ disabled people and prejudices from employers, especially against people with psychiatric disabilities. The employees of the Swedish Employment Agency suggest that they would be able to work more efficiently to help disabled people find employment if they had to do less administrative work, and would be able to work with fewer clients per employee.

Children shoes today is designed with the idea that there feet need a lot of support.Due to this the shoes are stiff all over and children are not recommend to wereshoes when they learn how to walk1. It is also quite difficult to squeeze there feet into these shoes.My project is about minimizing the gap between learning how to walk bare footindoors to take the first steps outside. And while doing that create a collection ofshoes and create a new brand; My First Sneakr.My First Sneakrs is inspired by retro sneakers, hiphop- and street culture. Theshoes are colored with attitude and the models are unisex. The outsoles are soft tomimic the bare foot feeling.The shoe has an opening feature in the back, making it easy to put on.

The aim of this study is to examine Swedish teachers? role and attitude in the Swedish subject towards motivation and reading fiction at upper secondary school. We are also interested in investigating whether or not there are any differences regarding the way teachers motivate students? depending on their choice of education or not. The method we chose in order to achieve this was interviews with teachers.
Motivation i arbetslivet : En kvantitativ studie om vad som motiverar personalen inom äldreomsorgen.
The purpose of this thesis is to study what motivational factors motivates the staff in the public elderly care and to investigate how the staff ranks the different motivational factors and if the rankings differ depending on gender, age, education, type of employment, time of employment, employer, income and ethnic background. The thesis is based on a questionnaire study with a total of 97 participants. The questionnaire was constructed with the help of prior similar studies conducted in the USA and Malaysia over a sixty-year time period. These studies are then used to analyze the results. The participants in our thesis were given ten motivational factors to rank according to what they believed motivated them the most.

Bakgrund: HIV/AIDS är idag en sjukdom som varit känd för oss i snart tre decennier. Synen på människor som har HIV har förvisso ändrats. Trots förändringar upplever personer med HIV fortfarande negativa attityder, diskriminering och socialt utanförskap både ute i samhället och inom sjukvården. Vid en närmare granskning av litteraturen visar det sig att attityder och rädslor finns kvar mot personer med HIV även hos sjukvårdspersonal. Syfte: Att undersöka sjuksköterskestudenters attityder till personer med HIV.
Ljudmiljön i skolan : Om hur lärare kan påverka sin arbetsmiljö
My essay is on the subject of teachers work environment with focus on noise and communication. In the essay questions are raised on how a teacher can influence his or hers noisy work environment. A school is a large work place with many employees and is owned and administered by the county municipality which is an even bigger workplace. How big an acting space does a teacher have in such a large organization?My methods of research on these questions have been to conduct interviews and analyzing documentation from The Swedish Work Environment Authority.

Studien handlar om rekryteringsprocessens förfarande, där den huvudsakliga frågeställningen är "Hur synliggörs potentiella medarbetares kapaciteter i rekryteringsprocessen?". Studien syftar till att lyfta fram hur rekryterare bär sig åt för att synliggöra de potentiella medarbetarnas förmågor och personliga egenskaper, och hur de vet vad som är väsentligt att lyfta fram för en viss tjänst. Ytterligare fågeställningar jag har är: "Hur kan rekryteraren veta vilka egenskaper som ska belysas?", "Hur går rekryteraren till väga för att synliggöra specifika kapaciteter?" och "Kan rekryterarens personliga värderingar påverka rekryteringsförfarandet?".
The use of artificial insemination in dairy farms in urban/peri-urban Kampala, Uganda : a study of knowledge, attitude and practices
Uganda is one country with fastest growing populations in the world and with more than 25% of the population living in poverty. There is a rapid rural urban migration with increasing demands for food for low income earners especially in these areas. One way to mitigate food insecurity is to increase milk and meat production efficiency, and thus reproductive performance of cows is crucial for good production. A well-documented strategy for improving dairy cow productivity through faster genetic improvement is to breed dairy cows using proven semen via artificial insemination (AI). AI has been used in Uganda for over 60 years but only less than 10 %, a small population of the country?s herd has been bred that way.
The aims were to study knowledge, attitude and practices factors influencing cow fertility results on dairy farms around Kampala using AI and to propose ways of promoting increased use of AI in Uganda.

Background: Different forms of reward systems have been more common in Sweden and are used in purpose to motivate employees to work in accordance with a company?s goals. By creating work motivation among the employees, a more congruent situation can appear between them and the managers, and the company can perform better results. Purpose: The purpose with this thesis is to study and analyse a reward system from the employees perspective, regarding it?s affect on work motivation.
Två sidor av samma mynt : En enkätundersökning om relationen mellan chefer och anställda
Syftet med uppsatsen är att utifrån det psykologiska kontraktet och tre hypoteserundersöka dimensioner av relationen mellan chefer och medarbetare och belysaskillnader. Undersökningen bygger på enkätsvar från 81 medarbetare och 18 cheferfrån två organisationer. Vi behandlar i uppsatsen fem dimensioner av relationenmellan chefer och medarbetare, dessa är uppförande, rättvisa, trygghet, förtroendeoch kommunikation. Två av dimensionerna skiljer sig mellan grupperna när vi testarom det finns skillnader beroende på vilket företag en respondent tillhör och endimension skiljer sig när vi undersöker om det finns skillnader i uppfattningenmellan chefer och medarbetare. När vi jämför ett internationellt företag med ettmindre, lokalt, företag får vi resultat som motsäger vårt antagande att skillnaderi uppfattning om relationens dimensioner är större i det internationella företaget.Vi drar slutsatsen att relationens dimensioner inte är beroende av varandra utanpåverkas av olika faktorer.
Förutsättningar för och effekter av förtroendearbetstid
Today's labor market is characterized by flexibility. This applies to organizations, forms of employment and working time. Unregulated working time is such an adaptation and the main subject of this essay. The purpose of this study was to investigate the conditions that underpin unregulated working time, in relation to the Swedish legislation and to EU legislation. The intention has been to investigate the work environment impacts of unregulated working time, and what differences there are from a gender perspective.The conclusion is that workers who enter into agreements for unregulated working time have significantly different terms from traditional workers.
