With this research we aimed to seek how youth workers express their experience of counselling on the internet compared to traditional counselling face to face with a theoretical ground in semiotics and symbolic interactionism. Our questions were 1) How do youth workers describe their experiences from anonymous, faceless online counselling? 2) How do youth workers experience the differences between online counselling and the traditional face-to-face counselling? 3) Which possibilities and difficulties do they see in online communication with adolescents? We used semi-structed interviews with seven youth workers. Six of those are active in non-profit organisations, and one in social services. The results from our interviews showed that the interviewees saw that misunderstandings were more frequent on the internet, but that online counselling with adolescents still was easier than in the face-to-face meetings.

Kommunikationsbyråerna intar nyckelpositioner i dagens marknadsekonomi där det läggs en stor tilltro i den enskilda individens rationella förmågor. Reklamen bemöts med mycket kritik men anses ändå vara ett kommunikationsmedium som kan säkerställa att de utbyten som sker på konsumentmarknaden verkligen är miljömässigt värdeskapande för de parter som ingår i utbytesprocessen. Studien bygger på kvalitativa samtalsintervjuer med personer på åtta olika kommunikationsbyråer i Sverige. Studien redogör för byråernas insyn i kundföretagen och de intervjuades åsikter och värdegrund i miljöfrågor. Byråerna har överlag interaktiva och långvariga kundrelationer som både säkerställer en god insyn i det beställande företaget.

Introduction: Diabetes type 1 is a common chronic disease in children and adolescents. The disease affect, not only the child, but also the parents in their everyday life. The specialist diabetic nurse has a huge responsibility in supporting the parents to feel confident in managing the child?s diabetes.Aims of the study: To investigate how parents of children with diabetes type 1 perceive the care given from the specialist diabetic nurse and what wishes they have concerning the care they receive.Design and methods: Searches for studies in electronic databases were conducted between January 2013 and march 2013. A literature review containing 16 studies was compiled.

As the western society gradually turns into a knowledge- and risk society, where science and scientific innovations increasingly both promise to save the world and destroy it, a shift in the relation between the scientific community and the rest of society has emerged. A shift from a top-down one-way transfer view regarding communication, to a dialogue-based interactive co-production model, where the public are part of setting the agenda for research and contribute to the knowledge production. Or at least in theory, in EU documents and in many different country's policy documents. In practical application however, one might have a hard time see the implementation of such model.As a more comprehensive and dialogue-based science communication is depending on the possibility for scientist themselves to engage and fell the need to engage, we have focused on their thoughts.In this thesis we have examined six scientists view on, and work with, science communication, as well as their perceived social and structural conditions. We have also examined action plans and strategy documents from three Swedish universities that in different ways mention science communication and interaction with the broader society.

The aim of the study was to investigate the importance of the interaction between the physiotherapist and the patient. Semistructured interviews were carried out with three patients and one physiotherapist. A qualitative design with content analysis was used. The data analysis led to classification of four categories. These were communication, confidence, expectations and participation.

This report describes the construction of a climate-cabinet for testing of HV-cards (High Voltage) produced at VG Scienta. The main part of the report describes all the different components of the cabinet. The most important parts are a PID regulator from Eurotherm model 2408, a solid state contactor (SSC), a thermocouple, a finned resistor from DBK and different fans. The report even includes the connection between components by cable wiring, isolation, grounding, fuses and shaping of metal goods.As the cabinet also communicates with a computer, the report includes the solution of the data communication using the software iTools from Eurotherm. The communication part includes information about a converter that converts EIA422 to USB.The cabinet was produced at a company, called VG Scienta, in Uppsala during the spring 2010.

Detta tror vi kan formas med hjälp av ett strategiskt HRarbetesom jobbar internt med employer branding i samspel med de anställdas psykosocialaarbetsmiljö men även externt mot andra aktörer för att kunna vara attraktiva som arbetsgivare.Arbetskraften inom teknikbranschen utgörs idag till stor del av generation X och Y, somlockas och engageras av helt andra faktorer i arbetet så som frihet, kreativitet ochmeningsfullhet till skillnad från tidigare generationer (Parment & Dyhre 2009). Dessaförväntningar ställer andra krav på arbetsgivare för att skapa en god arbetsmiljö men även föratt bygga ett attraktivt employer branding-arbete.Syftet med vår uppsats är att förstå sambandet mellan psykosocial arbetsmiljö och employerbranding i en public service-organisation. Vår studie genomförs på en av organisationensdivisioner. Genom att kartlägga divisionens psykosociala arbetsmiljö samt sammanställakännetecknen för den psykosociala arbetsmiljön och employer branding-arbetet undersöker vihur dessa två områden kan kopplas samman med varandra.Tidigare forskning där dessa två områden förs samman är begränsad.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att besvara frågan hur ett medarbetarsamtal upplevs av den anställde. Att ställa frågan ?är det värt det? innebär att se om den anställde upplever att medarbetarsamtalet är en givande kommunikationsform eller om den anställde känner det som ett otillfredsställande samtal.Uppgifterna och svaren är inhämtade genom individuella intervjuer genomförda med deltagare i ett arbetslag inom den privata vårdsektorn.Studien har en kvalitativ ansats och baseras på semistrukturerade intervjuer.Studien har visat att medarbetarsamtalet inte upplevs som tillfredställande när det gäller kommunikationen med och till överordnad. Det har framkommit att anställda föredrar kommunikation inom hela arbetsgruppen via öppnare samtal mellan samtliga anställda. Vad studien också visar är att de anställda upplever sin chef och kontakten med chefen på olika sätt beroende på situation och kontext.Vi har utgått ifrån teorier kring institutionaliserade samtal, emotionellt arbete och tvång samt sociala band för att behandla och analysera informanternas upplevelse av medarbetarsamtalet.Den anställdes emotionella arbete påverkas av rollen den anställda upplever som passande för yrket samt att relationen till chefen påverkas av status och ställning. .

Leading researchers in the fields of crisis communication and relationship management believe that social media is a great tool for managing relationships between an organization and its' public, whether it's before, during or after a crisis.The purpose of this study is to examine how the Karlstad municipality use Facebook to manage civic relations before, during and after a crisis. The municipality's approach will be compared to the citizens' experiences of the municipality's communication in different stages of a crisis.The theoretical framework used in this essay is the research on crisis communication and relationship management. How these two frameworks can be integrated with social media like Facebook, is an important part of understanding how the Karlstad municipality make use of Facebook to manage civic relations and communicate before, during and after a crisis.The empirical study consists of a qualitative interview, two qualitative content analysis and an online survey.

Det är viktigt att denna oro uppmärksammas och bekräftas för att inte ge långsiktiga negativa konsekvenser. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa ungdomars reaktioner när en förälder har cancer. Studien genomfördes som en allmän litteraturstudie. Nio vetenskapliga studier inkluderades i resultatet.

 This bachelor?s thesis purpose is to examine how library staff experiences the meeting with non-Swedish speaking users of public libraries, and how they solve different situations. Today there is not much research on this subject but we find these questions important to study because we think it is good to be aware of the situations that can arise and discuss how to solve any problems. To have a basis for this qualitative study we conducted group interviews with library staff, where they are asked about their experiences with non-Swedish speaking users. In the analysis the results of the interviews are compared to previous research and related to communication theory, which is the theoretical framework for this study.

Anledningen till detta är att undersöka fördelar och användningsområden för en kommunikationsmetod som ej sänder ut RF-signaler och därmed minska risken för obehörig avlyssning.Denna rapport beskriver ett examensarbete som undersöker möjligheten till eliminering av USB- till UART-konverterare på Microchip BodyCom genom mjukvaru-USB-stack och kombinera denna med Body Coupled Communication funktionalitet i en gemensam mikrokontroller. Vidare studeras om programkoden i Body Coupled Communication sändare kan modifieras för att utöka funktionaliteten.Det var givet i förutsättningarna att mikrokontroller från Microchip skulle användas, vidare var lågt pris respektive låg strömförbrukning viktigt, särskilt för sändaren.
